Copalis Beach RV Resort Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" along the Washington coast, Copalis Beach RV Resort, located at 14 Heath Rd, Copalis Beach, WA 98535, USA, warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback available online. Unlike the positive sentiments often associated with coastal getaways, the reviews for Copalis Beach RV Resort paint a concerning picture regarding its current state of repair and maintenance.
One recurring theme in the customer reviews is the dated and deteriorating condition of the property. One reviewer described it as "Old, always under construction that never has construction workers. Plumbing problems are a constant fixture here, and the park models are a joke!" This statement raises significant concerns about the infrastructure and the quality of the accommodations, particularly the park models, which are often considered a more comfortable lodging option within RV resorts.
Another, more detailed review echoes these sentiments, stating that the resort is "Run down. The fence is rusty and falling over, the paint is falling off the structures and the roofs look like they were bad 20 years ago." This paints a picture of neglect and a lack of upkeep, which can significantly impact the overall guest experience and the aesthetic appeal of the resort. The reviewer further notes the absence of a "camp host" and a general sense that "no one cares about the place," suggesting potential issues with management and the level of attention given to the property.
A particularly concerning point raised in the reviews is the issue with septic systems. The reviewer mentioned that "Most spots do not have septic due to issues," which could create significant inconveniences for RV travelers who rely on these connections for waste disposal. This lack of essential infrastructure can detract from the comfort and practicality of staying at the resort.
While the proximity to the sea might present challenges for maintaining structures due to the coastal environment, as acknowledged by one reviewer ("I understand that life by the sea can be rough for structures"), the feedback suggests that basic maintenance, such as "a coat of paint," has been neglected. The reviewer believes that such simple improvements could enhance the longevity of the property and attract more guests.
The dilapidated state of the fence, described as "falling over and rusty," not only detracts from the appearance but also creates a negative impression, making it "feel like an old run down trailer park in the ghetto." This strong imagery conveys a sense of neglect and a potentially unsafe or unwelcoming environment.
The reviewer explicitly states their disappointment with the apparent lack of investment in the property by "Sunrise resorts," expressing their intention not to return and to avoid other locations managed by the same entity based on this experience. This negative feedback regarding the management's approach to reinvestment and guest experience ("Money grabbers not re-investing in guest experience") is a serious concern for potential visitors.
Based on these reviews, it is challenging to objectively highlight positive environmental aspects, services, or features of Copalis Beach RV Resort. The prevailing theme is one of disrepair and neglect. Potential services that one might typically expect from an RV resort, such as well-maintained facilities, functional utilities (including septic), and a welcoming atmosphere, appear to be compromised based on the recent feedback.
Features that are often attractive in "RV parks near me," such as proximity to attractions (in this case, Copalis Beach), comfortable and well-maintained sites, and adequate amenities, seem to be overshadowed by the reported issues with the resort's condition. While the address indicates a location at Copalis Beach, the reviews suggest that the experience of staying there might not align with the expectations of a pleasant coastal RV resort.
Promotional information is absent in the provided reviews, and given the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the resort's current state, it is unlikely that there are any active promotions that would outweigh the concerns raised by recent guests. In fact, the reviews serve as a cautionary note for those considering a stay at Copalis Beach RV Resort.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Copalis Beach area, it is crucial to be aware of the recent experiences shared by other travelers. The consistent complaints about the age, disrepair, plumbing problems, lack of maintenance, and absence of a camp host should give pause to anyone considering this resort. While the location might be desirable due to its proximity to the beach, the condition of the facilities appears to be a significant drawback.
Before making a decision, potential visitors might want to contact Copalis Beach RV Resort directly at (360) 289-4278 or +1 360-289-4278 to inquire about the current state of the park and any planned improvements. However, it would also be prudent to seek more recent reviews from other sources to get a broader perspective on the current guest experience.
In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Copalis Beach RV Resort appears to be a property that is currently facing significant challenges related to its age, maintenance, and infrastructure. The negative feedback regarding its run-down condition, plumbing issues, lack of a camp host, and septic problems in many spots should be a major consideration for anyone searching for "RV parks near me" in the Copalis Beach area. While its location might be appealing, the reported state of the resort suggests that potential guests should proceed with extreme caution and seek up-to-date information before booking a stay.

Apr 25, 2025 · MacGyverRun down. The fence is rusty and falling over, the paint is falling off the structures and the roofs look like they were bad 20 years ago. No camp host, and it seems like no one cares about the place. Most spots do not have septic due to issues. I understand that life by the sea can be rough for structures, but a coat of paint will really increase longevity and could bring in more guest. I didn't like that the fence was falling over and rusty it made it feel like an old run down trailer park in the ghetto. It seems like Sunrise resorts has decided not to invest properly in this location and I will not be returning. I will not stay at any location if this is how they treat their properties. Money grabbers not re-investing in guest experience.
Jul 17, 2023 · Travis Rodriguez5 minute walk to the beach, which is not crowded. The on-site restroom and shower facilities were clean. Space 11 was pretty flat, so our trailer was easy to level. Full hookup site, everything worked great (did not use the available cable TV). Wifi was down during our visit, but we try to stay away from the internet when on vacation. The whole facility is a little run down, but the staff are super nice and its a beautiful, quiet location. The store at the end of the road is well stocked with essential items, and ocean shores is only a few minutes away!
Jul 14, 2022 · Andy HoughExtremely run down place! All buildings look like they could fall at any minute! All sites have really bad weeds that have stickers. The stickers get tracked in on shoes and are bad for animals. Several people had their dogs running around with no leash. Still have septics issue and it’s water & power only at most sites. The only nice thing about this place is that you stay in your own home (RV) and you don’t have to stay in the nasty hotels in ocean shores.
Aug 06, 2023 · Jaime BuissonGreat place for tent and RV camping. The beach is only a foot path away and the features are great. I would do 5 stars but the bathrooms/showers/club house need some love. The clubhouse and clam washing station need a decent amount of work done. Overall I'd recommend it and will return.
