Country View RV Park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Nixon, Texas area, Country View RV Park, located at 1010 Co Rd 173, Nixon, TX 78140, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews available online. This introduction aims to provide a balanced and objective overview of the park's environment, services, and features, as perceived by recent visitors. For direct inquiries and the most current information, you can contact the park at (830) 534-6995 or +1 830-534-6995.
One recent review paints a starkly negative picture of the current environment of Country View RV Park. This reviewer claims that the online pictures are misleading and that the park has deteriorated into a "run down dirt and gravel place." They describe the park as "dark and Baron," suggesting a lack of landscaping or maintained common areas. This account indicates a potentially unkempt and unattractive environment, which may be a significant concern for travelers seeking a pleasant and comfortable camping experience.
In contrast, another recent review offers a much more positive perspective. This reviewer described Country View RV Park as a "cute, out in the country gem." This suggests that some visitors may find the park's rural setting appealing and peaceful. Notably, this reviewer specifically praised the strong water pressure, highlighting it as a "true blessing in the Texas heat." This positive feedback indicates that at least some essential services, such as water supply, are functioning well and appreciated by guests.
Regarding services and features, the negative review explicitly states that the park has "no wifi or any other amenities." This is a significant drawback for many modern travelers who rely on internet access for communication, work, or entertainment. The lack of other amenities, which are not specified, could further detract from the overall camping experience. This account suggests that the park may offer only the most basic hookups without additional conveniences that are often expected at RV parks.
On the other hand, the positive review does not comment on the presence or absence of amenities other than the water pressure. Therefore, we lack a comprehensive understanding of the full range of services and features currently available at Country View RV Park based solely on these two contrasting reviews.
The negative review also raises a serious and concerning historical issue, mentioning a past incident where a seven-year-old boy reportedly shot and killed an adult at the property. While this is a historical event that has been addressed by the legal system, the reviewer expresses concern about bringing family to the location and advises potential renters to "keep your kids safe." It is important to note that this is a past incident, and the current safety and environment of the park may be different. However, this information may understandably cause apprehension for some potential visitors.
Furthermore, the negative reviewer includes a subjective opinion about the current owner, comparing them unfavorably to a character from a fairy tale and advising potential renters to "beware." This is a personal opinion and should be considered as such, but it does contribute to the overall negative impression conveyed in that particular review.
The positive review, in contrast, specifically mentions a pleasant interaction with someone named "Cindy," suggesting that at least one member of the staff or management was helpful and a "pleasure to work with." This positive interaction stands in stark contrast to the negative portrayal of the owner in the other review, highlighting the potential for varied experiences with the park's management.
Given the conflicting nature of these two recent reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive description of the current state of Country View RV Park. One review suggests a run-down park with minimal to no amenities and a potentially concerning past, while the other describes it as a "cute" and pleasant rural location with good water pressure and helpful staff. It is possible that these reviews reflect different experiences, different expectations, or changes in the park over time.
No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Therefore, anyone interested in learning about current rates, availability, or any special offers at Country View RV Park should contact them directly at the provided phone numbers: (830) 534-6995 or +1 830-534-6995. They will be able to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information about the park.
In conclusion, based on the limited and contradictory recent reviews, Country View RV Park in Nixon, Texas, appears to be a location with both potential drawbacks and some positive aspects. Potential visitors should be aware of the negative feedback regarding the park's environment and lack of amenities, as well as the historical incident mentioned. However, the positive feedback regarding the rural setting, strong water pressure, and a pleasant staff interaction suggests that some visitors may still find value in staying at this park. Due to the significant discrepancies in the reviews, it is strongly recommended that interested individuals contact Country View RV Park directly to inquire about the current conditions, amenities, and any relevant policies before making a reservation. This will allow them to make an informed decision based on their individual needs and preferences when searching for "RV parks near me" in the Nixon area.

Country View RV Park Reviews
I don’t know where they got these pictures but they aren’t what this trailer park looks like at all …it’s now a run down dirt and gravel place and nothing more it has no wifi or any other amenities, it’s dark and Baron and in doing some research. I have uncovered the fact that a seven-year-old boy shot and killed an adult here years back and was finally brought to justice and sent to prison. Not exactly the place to bring your family nor do you want to run into the current owner she kind of reminds me of the lady in the woods from Hansel and Gretel renter beware here keep your money in ur pocket and keep ur kids safe
