Countryside Village Introduce
For local users exploring "RV parks near me" as a potential avenue for finding long-term or seasonal housing solutions, mobile home parks represent one type of residential community. Countryside Village, located at 8401 Bowles Rd, Tampa, FL 33637, USA, is one such park in the Tampa area. However, the available customer reviews paint an extremely negative picture, raising serious concerns about the management, living conditions, and overall environment of this community. Potential residents are strongly advised to carefully consider the issues raised before considering Countryside Village as a place to live.
One resident provides a harrowing account of their living situation and interactions with the landlord, identified as Delonda. This reviewer alleges that Delonda has admitted that her superiors are "shady" but then denies these statements. More alarmingly, the resident claims that Delonda has repeatedly lied about the rent owed and has been unresponsive to their dire living conditions despite being aware that the residents are disabled. The trailer they are living in reportedly has windows that do not open and a non-functioning air conditioner, leading to unbearable temperatures of 115 degrees inside. The resident states that their offer to purchase their own AC unit and have it professionally installed was refused, and they were told they were not allowed to do anything about the broken AC, leaving them to suffer in the extreme heat with no ventilation.
Adding to these critical issues, the same reviewer reports being without usable water for almost a week. They allege that Delonda has done nothing to resolve this, claiming the water was treated, but the resident describes the water as so awful that their cats gagged at its smell. This raises serious health and safety concerns regarding the water quality in the community. The reviewer further describes Countryside Village as a "roach infested garbage dump" that is unfit even for rats, while ironically noting that there are "plenty of rats here too," extending this metaphor to the landlord and property owner. The reviewer concludes with a stark warning, stating that living in this place is "pure torture" and urging others to "run away from here if given a chance," suggesting that the living conditions are severely detrimental to mental and physical well-being.
Another reviewer corroborates the negative portrayal of Delonda, describing her as "two faced." This resident claims that Delonda will share negative information about the office or questionable tasks she is asked to perform but will immediately deny these statements if she believes "corporate" (which the reviewer alleges is merely a mailbox at a UPS store with constant monitoring) is listening. This suggests a lack of transparency and potentially dishonest communication from the landlord.
Furthermore, this reviewer accuses Countryside Village of extorting "reliable tenants for bogus fees that they can't prove." This indicates potentially unethical or unfair billing practices. They also relay information allegedly shared by Delonda that she believes she is being pressured to evict good tenants to justify charging higher rents for trailers that are currently vacant due to the "absurd rent price." This paints a picture of a community with high turnover and questionable motives behind management decisions.
The second reviewer concludes by strongly advising others to "Stay far away from here and especially delonda," reinforcing the severe dissatisfaction and negative experiences reported by residents.
Based on these two detailed and intensely negative reviews, Countryside Village in Tampa appears to be a mobile home park plagued by significant issues related to management conduct, uninhabitable living conditions (particularly concerning the lack of functioning AC and ventilation in extreme heat, as well as severe water quality problems), pest infestations (roaches and rats), and potentially unethical financial practices. The environment described is far from the "nice" or "friendly" atmosphere one might hope for in a residential community.
Given the severity of these allegations, there is no positive promotional information to be gleaned from the provided reviews. The overwhelming sentiment is one of distress, mistreatment, and a strong recommendation to avoid this community at all costs.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term living situation and come across Countryside Village, the advice based on these reviews is to exercise extreme caution and likely avoid this community altogether. The reported issues are fundamental to basic standards of health, safety, and fair treatment.
However, if for any reason a potential resident still wishes to investigate Countryside Village, they should:
- Visit the park in person: Conduct a thorough inspection of the grounds and any available units. Pay close attention to the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and infrastructure. Look for any signs of pest infestation or water quality issues.
- Attempt to speak with multiple current residents: Seek out residents independently to get a broader range of perspectives on the living conditions and management. Be prepared for potentially negative feedback based on the online reviews.
- Document everything: If you choose to proceed with any interaction, keep detailed records of all communications and any agreements.
- Be aware of your rights as a tenant: Understand Florida's landlord-tenant laws and be prepared to assert your rights if you encounter any of the issues reported in the reviews.
- Consider alternative housing options: Given the severity of the reported problems, it is strongly recommended to explore other mobile home parks or housing options in the Tampa area that have more positive or at least less alarming reviews.
To contact Countryside Village directly, you can use the provided phone number: (813) 829-8669 or +1 813-829-8669. However, given the nature of the complaints, any information received from management should be viewed with skepticism and corroborated with independent observations and resident feedback.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Countryside Village in Tampa paint a dire picture of uninhabitable living conditions, unethical management practices, and a severely negative resident experience. Local users searching for long-term housing solutions within the "RV parks near me" category are strongly advised to avoid Countryside Village based on this information and seek alternative, more reputable communities.

Landlord delonda admits repeatedly that the people who are her bosses are shady and then becomes 2 faced and will deny saying anything about it and she also has on multiple occasions (have security cameras and saved videos)lied to us about the rent owed, about being aware my fiancee and I are disabled and isn't going to do anything when we're stuck in a trailer that has windows that don't open and it's 115 degrees and non functioning AC. I even offered to buy my own ac and have it installed by licensed HVAC person and I was refused to be able to do that. I got told I was not allowed to do anything regarding my broken ac and too bad I had to deal with 115 degree trailer with no windows that open. Now most recently I've been without water useable for almost a week and she won't do anything about it because her water is okay and claims they treated it... With what??? Baby poop?? The water is so awful my cats gagged just getting near it. This roach infested garbage dump is not fit for even a rat! (Don't worry, plenty of rats here too ranging from the landlord to the property owner). This place will slowly make you feel like unaliving yourself, it's pure torture, run away from here if given a chance!!!!
Apr 13, 2024 · Jessica Baldwin (JB)Delonda is two faced and will tell you about things that go on in the office or messed up things she is asked or required to do but the very first time she feels like "corporate" (which is not even in existence, it's literally a mailbox rented at UPS store)is listening (because they are insane and monitor them 24/7) she'll backpedal and lie through her teeth about EVERYTHING. This place also extorts reliable tenants for bogus fees that they can't prove and, per delonda, she is sure that she is being forced to get good tenants kicked out and only so they can make her require more money for the trailers she said she won't be able to even rent out as she already has multiple open that people refuse to rent because of the absurd rent price. Stay far away from here and especially delonda.
Feb 16, 2024 · S DI looked into trying to move here last year around October. Was told I just had to pay a $400 hold deposit and would be contacted when something came available. I signed the contract and paid the money. Noting that the contract states if nothing available in 8 weeks I can get a refund. Well I was never called about a place. I was told to submit a written request for refund. I did and that's been 2 months ago and still have not heard anything. Apparently you can not speak to the headquarters and the address they give to send your letter to is a shopping center with no office for this supposed headquarters. This is a scam!!! They will take your hard earned money with promise of a place to live and nothing happens!!!!!
Apr 27, 2022 · Jessica HuckelbyI wanted to rent a mobile home from this community but they were all filled up, the lady i was applying with said i will be on a waitlist but people who put a deposit down of a minimum of $400 will be top priority. So after a month I did receive calls and showings of units but they were all run down and filled with roaches one of the units they told me I had to buy my own A/C. So I then realized all these mobile homes will be the same run down units and decided I didn't want to live there anymore, so I asked for my deposit back. The lady told me i had to wright a letter to the main office on why i want MY deposit back. After a month went by I received this letter saying “I forfeited the hold deposit as I did not comply with the terms of the agreement”This place is a big scam!!! DO NOT PUT A HOLD DEPOSIT ON ANY UNITS THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK!
Jun 11, 2022 · Mikey P StaxxxThe area is decent but I would not recommend renting from Paul Chad Comingore. Me and my family lived here for almost three years and it was very horrible. For one the rent is not worth the homes, two they came up with false charges in the office that we didn't even owe and threatened to turn it over to the collection bureau if not paid it is a scam. The homes are in absolute miserable condition, we had soft spots in the floors, uneven tiles and nearly sharp nails in the floor. Also the toilet in our hallway bathroom felt like it was sinking into the ground and rocked backwards and forwards and when the septic tank got too full, the toilets would no longer flush and would gurgle in the middle of the night. The community uses well water. The place was overly too expensive, the homes are in absolute miserable condition and we ended up going to court twice and paying everything that we actually owed and still got kicked out two weeks after that. We paid so much money here and was very good at paying everything we owed if we were behind on rent considering they raised the late fees constantly from $ 30 to $ 50 to $ 80 and so on. Word to the wise, DO NOT MOVE HERE under any circumstance there are better places to live. Check for some apartments in the University Area or around there. So much better than this craphole of a place. Countryside Village needs to be turned over to a new company and transform this place into something much lovelier than what it already is. This place is ran by a very crooked scum lord. So to anyone looking to rent from here PLEASE Be aware of this place and other properties listed under PAUL CHAD COMINGORE!!!! Don't rent from him or you will actually regret it. Not Kidding.
