Carousel Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tampa, Florida area, Carousel Mobile Home Park, located at 10016 US-92, Tampa, FL 33610, is a residential option to consider. They can be reached at (813) 626-0820 or +1 813-626-0820 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to carefully review recent resident feedback before making any decisions regarding this community.
The online reviews for Carousel Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture of the living conditions and management responsiveness. Multiple serious issues have been raised by residents, indicating potential problems with maintenance, safety, and overall management practices. These issues should be carefully evaluated by anyone considering residing in this park.
One particularly alarming review details a multitude of unresolved problems. The resident reports that the park management damaged their car. Additionally, they describe significant delays in addressing emergency plumbing issues, taking weeks to resolve. Further infrastructure concerns include half of the electrical outlets in homes not functioning and the absence of hurricane ties, which are crucial for safety in a hurricane-prone region like Florida. These issues suggest a potential lack of attention to essential maintenance and safety standards within the park.
The same reviewer also raises serious safety concerns, alleging that the park management repeatedly moves drug dealers into the same unit. This claim, if accurate, indicates a significant disregard for the safety and well-being of other residents and could foster a negative and potentially dangerous environment within the community. The resident explicitly states their suspicion regarding this repeated pattern.
Adding to the list of grievances, this reviewer reports dealing with a non-functional refrigerator for almost a week due to an electrical problem. They express frustration with the lack of updates or resolution for both the refrigerator issue and the previously mentioned car damage and electrical problems. Based on their experiences, this resident strongly advises against living at Carousel Mobile Home Park, even as a last resort.
Another review, referencing "Shady Acres Park on Lehman Rd" (it is unclear if this is an alternative name or a different location, but the issues raised are pertinent as they were posted as a review for Carousel Mobile Home Park), details severe and unaddressed maintenance issues. This resident recounts being instructed by two young office staff members to take down their pool within 48 hours under threat of a $100 fine. During this interaction, the resident reported a malfunctioning toilet and a strong septic smell emanating from their lines, along with visible dampness under their home, suggesting a potential leak. They were told a work order would be submitted.
After waiting over a week with no resolution, the septic smell intensified to the point of causing the resident severe headaches and nausea, making the inside of their home smell like a septic tank. Upon a follow-up call, the resident's wife was again told that a work order would be placed and was asked if they had another toilet to use. The reviewer emphasizes that the problem was with the septic system, affecting the functionality of all toilets in their home. The toilets were barely flushing, with water trickling down slowly.
The situation escalated to the point where the code enforcer became involved. The code enforcer reportedly informed the resident that such septic issues should be resolved immediately due to the toxic and potentially deadly nature of the fumes if present for an extended period. The code enforcer instructed the resident to call back if the problem was not fixed by the end of the following Monday, indicating the severity of the situation.
The fact that a code enforcer deemed the septic smell toxic and potentially harmful underscores the seriousness of the unaddressed maintenance issues at this location. The delay in resolving such a critical health and safety concern raises significant questions about the management's responsiveness and commitment to resident well-being.
Based on the overwhelmingly negative feedback from these two reviewers, Carousel Mobile Home Park appears to be facing significant challenges related to:
- Negligence leading to property damage (car).
- Extremely slow response times to emergency maintenance requests (plumbing).
- Unaddressed and potentially dangerous infrastructure issues (electrical outlets, hurricane ties, septic system).
- Alleged safety concerns related to the repeated housing of drug dealers.
- Lack of communication and updates regarding unresolved maintenance problems (refrigerator, plumbing, electrical).
- Potentially unreasonable enforcement of park rules (pool removal) while ignoring critical health and safety issues (septic smell).
For individuals actively searching within the "RV parks near me" category, it is crucial to understand that Carousel Mobile Home Park, based on the available reviews, may not offer a safe or well-maintained living environment. The issues raised by residents are severe and point to potential systemic problems within the park's management and operations. While the park's location in Tampa might seem convenient, the reported living conditions appear to outweigh any potential locational advantages.
Given the gravity of the issues reported, prospective residents should be extremely cautious about considering Carousel Mobile Home Park. It would be prudent to explore alternative mobile home parks or RV parks in the Tampa area that have more positive and reliable resident feedback regarding maintenance, safety, and management responsiveness.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. The residents' feedback focuses entirely on negative experiences with the park's management and living conditions. Therefore, any potential promotional offers would need to be independently verified with the park management, keeping in mind the serious concerns raised by current residents.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Carousel Mobile Home Park in Tampa, FL, paint a deeply concerning picture. Reports of damaged property, severely delayed and unaddressed maintenance issues (including potentially hazardous septic problems), alleged safety concerns, and poor communication from management should give any prospective resident significant pause. Based on this information, proceeding with caution and thoroughly investigating these issues or considering alternative options in the "RV parks near me" category in Tampa would be highly advisable.

Carousel Mobile Home Park Reviews
They have damaged my car, took weeks to fix emergency plumbing issues, half the electrical outlets in homes dont work and are missing hurricane ties. They keep moving drug dealers into the exact same unit over and over again (seems sus to me).Currently dealing with an issue of having no refridgerator for almost a week due to an electrical issue and they still cant even give me an update on fixing either of those problems. I wouldnt recommend living here to my worst enemy. Move here only as a very last resort
Feb 29, 2024 · Jeremiah StempleShady Acres Park on Lehman Rd......On the 17th 2 young girls working in the off ice came by to tell me to take my pool down in 48 hours or I would get a 100 fine, while they were here, I told them about my toilet not flushing right and the septic smell coming from my lines. I also told them how it looked damp under my home as if the lines were leaking. They told me they would put in a work order. I waited a week and 2 days but no one came. On August 26th at 5pm, my wife called because the septic smell gave me a very bad headache & my stomach started to feel sick. the inside of my home literally smelled like a septic tank. They told my wife, they would put in a work order & asked if we had another toilet we can use....the problem is the septic, our toilets barely flush & when they do, it trickles down like a drip in a faucet. Today is the 27th of August and the office is open at 10. The code enforcer told me if the problem isn't fixed by end of day Monday August 29, 2022, to call him back because the smell is toxins and are extremely harmful & can cause death if the toxins are around for too long. He also told me that issues like this are supposed to be resolved immediately, not with work orders because of the toxins.
Aug 27, 2022 · Kimberly SmithRoaches, mites, and trashy ass people who let their kids be unsupervised even as young as 2 years old.Owners Allow animal abuse on their properties, and never fixes anything. They must be paying code to pass, they also are breaking the law by having 6 month leases, trying to avoid hotel tax. They are so rude, and never fix anything. They should feel ashamed of themselves, kids have to live here in filthy conditionsAnd unhealthy homes. Truly disgusting
May 04, 2016 · Green Lady Lizzused to be a pretty decent place to live when Bill and Marylynn owned it. When they retired and sold it the place went to hell. Would never exterminate, roaches everywhere. Bill used to take care of the place and exterminate when necessary. Now it's not fit for an animal to live in..new owners are nasty.
