Coyote Cove RV Resort Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Wharton, Texas area, Coyote Cove RV Resort, situated at 272 Greendale Rd, Wharton, TX 77488, USA, presents itself as a potentially convenient and quiet option for both short-term and potentially longer stays. Based on the available feedback from recent visitors, the resort offers ease of access and proximity to essential amenities, coupled with exceptional staff hospitality. While some areas for potential enhancement have been noted, the overall sentiment suggests a satisfactory experience, particularly for those working in the vicinity.
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Coyote Cove RV Resort is its convenient location. Guests have noted that the park is "easy to get to" and is situated close to grocery stores. This accessibility to essential shopping can be a significant advantage for RV travelers, allowing for easy restocking of supplies without extensive travel. For those working in Wharton or the surrounding areas, this proximity to amenities can greatly enhance the convenience and practicality of an extended stay.
The environment of Coyote Cove RV Resort is described as "quiet" by one reviewer. This suggests that the park offers a peaceful atmosphere, which can be particularly appealing to those seeking a relaxing stay away from the noise of more bustling areas. A quiet environment is often a high priority for RV travelers, especially after a long day of driving or working.
Another significant highlight from the reviews is the exceptional kindness and helpfulness of the staff. One particularly noteworthy experience shared by a visitor who was not even a guest at the resort illustrates this point vividly. This individual ran out of gas nearby and, upon contacting Coyote Cove RV Resort, received immediate assistance. A staff member named Daron went out to provide gas, and neither he nor the lady who answered the phone asked for any payment in return. This act of extraordinary generosity and friendliness left a lasting positive impression, leading the reviewer to commend the people at the resort and express confidence that the resort itself must be great as well. Such отзывчивость and willingness to help in an unexpected situation speaks volumes about the character and hospitality of the staff at Coyote Cove RV Resort.
While the positive aspects of location and staff are evident, some areas for potential improvement have also been mentioned by guests. One reviewer noted that the landscaping in the lots could use some updating, particularly mentioning that it gets muddy when it rains. This suggests that the ground cover or drainage in some areas might not be optimal during wet weather, potentially leading to inconvenience for guests. This is a practical consideration for those planning a stay, especially during seasons with higher rainfall.
Another suggestion for improvement was the addition of more showers and washer/dryer units. This indicates that the current laundry and restroom facilities might be perceived as insufficient, particularly if the park is at higher occupancy. An increase in these amenities could enhance the comfort and convenience for guests, especially those on longer stays who rely on these facilities.
Despite these suggestions for potential upgrades, the overall sentiment from at least one reviewer who stayed at Coyote Cove RV Resort while working in town was positive, stating that they "would definitely stay again" if they returned to work in the area. This willingness to return suggests that the positive aspects of the park, such as its quiet environment and convenient location, outweigh the noted areas for improvement for this particular guest.
Based on the limited information available, we can infer that Coyote Cove RV Resort likely offers standard RV amenities such as hookups for electricity, water, and sewer at its sites. Given the mention of laundry and showers, these facilities are also likely available for guest use. However, the number of these facilities might be a point of consideration based on the feedback received.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Coyote Cove RV Resort, potential visitors might want to inquire about specific amenities such as:
- The types and sizes of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in).
- The amperage of electrical hookups.
- The availability and condition of restroom and shower facilities.
- The number of washer and dryer units in the laundry facility.
- Wi-Fi availability and strength.
- Pet policies.
- Any recreational facilities or communal areas.
Wharton, Texas, is located southwest of Houston, offering a more rural and potentially quieter setting compared to the bustling city. The proximity to grocery stores is a practical advantage, and the easy access to the park itself suggests well-maintained roads leading to the location. Travelers might also want to explore local attractions in Wharton and the surrounding Wharton County, such as the Colorado River, local historical sites, and any community events.
In conclusion, Coyote Cove RV Resort in Wharton, Texas, appears to be a conveniently located and quiet RV park with exceptionally helpful staff. While some guests have suggested potential improvements to the landscaping and the number of laundry and shower facilities, the positive aspects of ease of access, proximity to amenities, and the outstanding kindness of the staff make it a noteworthy option for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the area, particularly for those working in or traveling through Wharton. Coyote Cove RV Resort Reviews
Stayed here while working in town. Place was quiet. Easy to get to and close to grocery stores.Cell/internet service was not great in the area but that has nothing to do with the park. Just the general area.It could use some updating in the landscaping in the lots as it gets muddy when it rains. Add more showers and washer/dryers and this place would be prefect.I would definitely stay again if we come back to work out here though.
Jan 28, 2025 · javi sHello first this post isn’t about the resort but about the people. First long story short ran out of gas going towards Houston and had to hope until I found this place on maps. I called and the lady I didn’t catch her name but I was explained my situation and she sent help immediately without a second thought. Daron your the man. He came and put gas in our car and was super friendly. Neither asked for nothing in return and I can’t think them enough. I hope y’all get the pleasure of meeting them and if the people are this amazing I’m sure the resort is great as well. But the people definitely get 5 stars without a doubt.
Jan 01, 2025 · Jose ThorntonBest place ever ! Linda and her husband are the owners and they truly are great people ! They work so hard everyday to keep up the beautiful resort they have. Thank you Linda for baking the best pies and donating for a good cause and making pop corn for my grandbabies to feed the fish. They had such a great time visiting. We really hope to go back soon !
May 22, 2018 · Debbie GI was hesitant to stay here because of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I took the chance. The park is under new management and they take very good care of the property. It's right off of the freeway, but it feels like you are secluded out in the country. It's very quiet and peaceful, while still having quick access to the grocery store/ Walmart. I would stay here again, for sure.
