Creekside Rv Park Introduce
When you're looking for "RV parks near me" in the Floresville, Texas area, Creekside RV Park, situated at 642 10th St, Floresville, TX 78114, is one option to consider. You can contact them at (210) 801-9339 or their mobile number +1 210-801-9339. Based on the limited online reviews available, experiences at Creekside RV Park appear to be quite varied, with some guests reporting positive long-term stays while others encountered significant issues during shorter visits. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on this contrasting feedback to help local users make informed decisions.
One reviewer expressed a highly positive experience, stating, "Awesome place to stay or live been here a year love it." This suggests that for some, Creekside RV Park offers a satisfactory environment for both short-term stays and long-term living. This positive feedback could indicate a welcoming community atmosphere or perhaps well-maintained facilities that cater to the needs of long-term residents. If the park has fostered a sense of community and provides reliable services over an extended period, it could be an attractive option for those looking for a longer-term RV living situation in the Floresville area.
However, another reviewer detailed a considerably negative experience during their stay. This guest reported several significant issues, starting with being assigned a site that had "NO electricity." This is a fundamental requirement for RVs, and the lack thereof would undoubtedly cause considerable inconvenience. While they were subsequently moved to another site, this second site presented its own problem: a neighbor's satellite dish encroached into their designated parking space. This indicates potential issues with site planning or management oversight.
The negative review continued with a description of the third site, which was "supposed to be pull through but had a huge hump in site." Obstructions or poorly maintained site surfaces can make parking and leveling an RV difficult and potentially damaging. The reviewer also noted "lots of low hanging trees so difficult to park and drive around," suggesting potential challenges with maneuvering larger RVs within the park due to landscaping issues. Furthermore, the "roads/ driveways in bad shape" were cited as a concern, culminating in an incident where a severe pothole caused kitchen cabinets in the RV to open and dishes to break as they were leaving. The fact that this occurred after traveling 30,000 miles in their RV underscores the severity of the road conditions, in this reviewer's experience.
Finally, the negative review mentioned a discrepancy in pricing. The guest was quoted $30 per night but was charged an additional $10 booking fee, bringing the total to $40. This lack of transparency or unexpected additional charges can lead to dissatisfaction and a feeling of being misled. The reviewer concluded by stating that the park "should be no stars," reflecting a highly negative overall experience.
Considering these contrasting reviews, the environment of Creekside RV Park appears to be a point of contention. While one long-term resident found it "awesome," a short-term visitor described significant infrastructure and site-related problems. The presence of low-hanging trees and poorly maintained roads could detract from the overall appeal and usability of the park, particularly for larger RVs. The potential for issues with site functionality, such as the lack of electricity, and the encroachment of neighboring utilities also raise concerns about the park's management and upkeep.
In terms of services and features, the positive review does not provide specifics. The negative review indirectly mentions the availability of electrical hookups (albeit initially non-functional), and the existence of designated sites and roads/driveways. However, it does not provide information about other common RV park amenities such as water and sewer hookups, restroom and shower facilities, laundry rooms, Wi-Fi access, or recreational areas. The booking fee mentioned suggests an online or remote reservation system, but the lack of transparency regarding this fee was a point of dissatisfaction for one guest.
Given the limited and conflicting information, it is difficult to ascertain the full range and quality of services and features offered at Creekside RV Park. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" would need to contact the park directly to inquire about these essential aspects. Questions should include the types of hookups available at each site, the condition and accessibility of the sites, the quality of the roads and driveways within the park, and the availability of other amenities that contribute to a comfortable and convenient RV stay.
As there is no promotional information provided in the reviews, local users should also inquire about current rates, any potential discounts for longer stays, and the details of their booking process, including any additional fees. Transparency in pricing is crucial for building trust with potential guests.
In conclusion, the online reviews for Creekside RV Park in Floresville, Texas, present a mixed picture. While one long-term resident reported a positive experience, a short-term visitor encountered significant issues with site functionality, park infrastructure, and pricing transparency. This contrast underscores the importance for local users searching for "RV parks near me" to approach Creekside RV Park with caution and to conduct thorough due diligence before making a reservation. This should include direct communication with the park management to address the concerns raised in the negative review and to gather detailed information about the current condition of the park, the services and features offered, and the total cost of a stay. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, would also be a prudent step to assess the environment and infrastructure firsthand. It is recommended to weigh the positive long-term experience against the significant issues reported by a short-term visitor to make an informed decision about whether Creekside RV Park meets your needs for an RV stay in the Floresville area.

Awesome place to stay or live been here a year love it
Dec 03, 2018 · Kat LongDon’t stay here. Site we were given had NO electricity, and we had to move and neighbors satellite dish was in our spot. Next site was supposed to be pull through but had a huge hump in site. Lots of low hanging trees so difficult to park and drive around. Roads/ driveways in bad shape. We were leaving and pothole was so bad kitchen cabinets came open and dishes came out and broke. We have traveled 30000 miles in this RV and this is the first time that has happened! Also quoted $30 a night but the was charged $10 booking fee also. Should be no stars.
Jan 06, 2023 · Nancy CoburnStayed for the weekend with the family. And we loved it! Great price👍 And it was very convenient right in the middle of town less than 5mins away from gas station and H‑E‑B. Wi-Fi was a MUST for us so it was another plus when deciding on where to stay. Would definitely stay again.
May 16, 2022 · Abbey DeleonSounds like Elva barrera needs grammar lessons, or was maybe one of those shady types that the manager wouldn't let move in. Great park, great place to stay. We stayed for over a year and the Manager Shawn took care of any problems that arose with anyone in the park.
