Windmill RV ParkLLC Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Floresville, Texas area, Windmill RV Park LLC, located at 1738 County Rd 306, Floresville, TX 78114, USA, presents itself as an option to consider. This RV park is situated in a country setting, described by one reviewer as "off the beaten path" and offering a "quiet country setting." This could be particularly appealing to those seeking a peaceful and tranquil environment away from more urban or busy locations.
According to one customer's positive experience, the owners, Fred and Frankie, were exceptionally welcoming, making them and their labrador retriever feel at home during a two-and-a-half-week stay. This reviewer highlighted the personal touch and care provided by the hosts, noting that they made their stay "memorable" and considered the park a "keeper" on their list. The park was also described as "well maintained," suggesting attention to the upkeep and appearance of the grounds.
However, it's crucial to consider all feedback to gain a balanced understanding of what Windmill RV Park LLC offers. Another reviewer reported a significantly different experience, stating a lack of several common RV park amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable, and laundry facilities. This individual also mentioned issues with water quality ("water smelled bad") and noise disturbances from the owner's dogs barking at night. Furthermore, this review included serious allegations regarding the owner's behavior, including claims of unfair billing practices and unprofessional conduct towards former tenants.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is essential for potential guests to weigh the positive comments about the quiet setting and welcoming hosts against the significant concerns raised about the lack of amenities and negative interactions reported by another visitor. The absence of Wi-Fi, cable, and laundry could be a major drawback for travelers who rely on these services for communication, entertainment, or basic needs, especially for longer stays.
The phone number for Windmill RV Park LLC is (210) 218-1588, and the mobile number is +1 210-218-1588. Interested individuals are strongly encouraged to contact the park directly to inquire about the availability of specific amenities, current rates, park rules, and any policies regarding pets or long-term stays. It would be prudent to ask detailed questions about internet access, cable TV options (if any), laundry facilities, water quality, and noise levels to ensure the park meets their requirements and preferences.
When searching for "RV parks near me," local users often prioritize factors such as location, amenities, cleanliness, safety, and overall atmosphere. Windmill RV Park LLC's quiet, country setting might be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The positive feedback regarding the owners' hospitality suggests a potentially welcoming and personal experience for some guests. However, the reported lack of essential amenities and the negative experiences described by another reviewer are serious considerations that should not be overlooked.
Prospective visitors should also be mindful of the alleged issues with owner interactions and policies, as reported in one of the reviews. While individual experiences can vary, such feedback warrants careful consideration, especially for those planning an extended stay or traveling with specific expectations regarding service and professionalism.
In conclusion, Windmill RV Park LLC in Floresville, TX, offers a quiet, country setting that has been appreciated by some visitors for its tranquility and the welcoming nature of the owners. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported lack of common RV park amenities and the negative experiences shared by another reviewer regarding water quality, noise, and owner interactions. It is highly recommended to contact the park directly to gather current and detailed information and to assess whether the offerings and environment align with individual needs and expectations before making a reservation. By considering all available feedback and conducting thorough inquiries, local users can make a more informed decision when choosing from the "RV parks near me" in the Floresville area.

Windmill RV ParkLLC Reviews
No wifi, no cable, no laundry, no amenities at all. Water smelled bad. Owner's dogs bark all night. If owner doesn't agree with you she will a) throw you out, b) argue with you. Tried to charge me a full month's rent when I left a couple of days before the end of month, then has been trash talking me to other tenants. Very unprofessional and juvenile. Don't believe her responses to negative comments. Just don't stay there!
Mar 08, 2022 · Laurin ScottMy husband and I stayed at this wonderful RV Park for a two and 1/2 weeks. It is located off the beaten path in a quiet country setting. We enjoyed the Owner's Fred and Frankie immensely. They made us and our labrador retriever feel welcome and made out stay memorable. The park is well maintained. If you are looking for a restful place to stay this is it. If you are looking for caring hosts, they are it. This RV Park is definitely a keeper on our list.
Jul 11, 2018 · Sherri ClarkEdit 1/21/2022: water is reddish/brown and has metallic smell at times. Several tenants have complained, but owners seem unconcerned and combative about the issue. After I complained, owner kicked us out of the park! Water is clogging sink strainers and filters. Water leaves light towels brown after drying off from showering. Stayed here over the summer and water was fine.
Jan 23, 2022 · Mark HalloranThis place is a joke. It seems like a peaceful place, and the owners seem sweet and all. But the truth is, they are a couple of lying thieves. Be careful with peeping toms while you are staying there and don't let your dog run loose! Try it if you dare.
