Cripple Creek RV Park (formerly Eagles Landing RV Park) Introduce
Cripple Creek RV Park, formerly known as Eagles Landing RV Park, is located at 202 E May Ave, Cripple Creek, CO 80813, with contact phone numbers (719) 689-2887 and +1 719-689-2887. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cripple Creek area, this park offers a location with convenient access to downtown attractions. Based on the available online reviews, the park presents a generally quiet environment, but there are notable points regarding management interaction and site maintenance that prospective guests should consider.
One of the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews is the park's environment. A guest described their stay as "very quiet," which is often a significant draw for RV travelers seeking a peaceful and relaxing experience. This tranquility can be particularly appealing for those looking to escape the noise of urban areas and enjoy the natural surroundings of Cripple Creek. Furthermore, the park's location offers a significant advantage, as the same reviewer noted the ability to "walk to downtown and most of the tourist attractions." This proximity to local points of interest, such as casinos, museums, and historic sites, enhances the appeal of Cripple Creek RV Park for visitors wanting to explore the town without the need for extensive driving.
However, the reviews also bring attention to areas that may need improvement. One guest reported a highly negative interaction with an individual identified as "Fred," described as the male counterpart of the ownership. The reviewer recounts an encounter where Fred was "absolutely and utterly disrespectful and disgraceful" in his speech and approach towards a visitor. The visitor, who stated they were a law-abiding citizen and ex-Girl Scout visiting a resident, felt inappropriately questioned and confronted by Fred in a "volatile" manner after using the restroom facilities. This review strongly suggests a lack of adequate interpersonal skills on the part of this staff member and recommends his absence from the front desk to improve guest relations. The reviewer expressed such dissatisfaction that they would have given a "zero star" rating if the business were registered with the Better Business Bureau.
In contrast to this negative interaction with a staff member, the same review mentions "Patty," the other owner, in a more positive light, based on hearsay of her being a "nice person" who respects her tenants. This suggests a potential dichotomy in the management's approach to guests and residents. The reviewer's willingness to contact Patty directly to discuss the incident further underscores the significance of the negative interaction with Fred.
Another area for potential improvement, as noted by a different guest, is the site maintenance, specifically the need for "weed eating between sites." The reviewer mentioned that the grass was "almost knee high," indicating a lack of regular maintenance in these areas. While this may not significantly impact the functionality of the RV sites, overgrown vegetation can detract from the overall aesthetic appeal of the park and potentially create issues with pests or accessibility between sites. For those searching for "RV parks near me," the cleanliness and maintenance of the grounds are often important factors in their decision-making process.
Information regarding specific services and features of Cripple Creek RV Park is somewhat limited in the provided reviews. While the park offers a quiet environment and proximity to downtown Cripple Creek, details about specific RV amenities such as hookups (electrical, water, sewer), site sizes, Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, restrooms, or communal areas are not explicitly mentioned. Potential guests would need to contact the park directly to inquire about these essential services and features to ensure they meet their needs.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Details about any special rates, discounts, or unique offerings to attract new guests are not mentioned. Individuals interested in potential promotions should contact Cripple Creek RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers or visit their website if one exists.
In conclusion, Cripple Creek RV Park (formerly Eagles Landing RV Park) offers a quiet setting with the significant advantage of being within walking distance to downtown Cripple Creek and its attractions. However, prospective guests should be aware of a concerning report regarding disrespectful behavior from a member of the ownership towards a visitor. Additionally, there is a suggestion that site maintenance, particularly weed control between sites, could be improved. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Cripple Creek, it is recommended to contact the park directly to inquire about specific amenities, site availability, and to address any concerns arising from the negative management interaction reported in the reviews. While the location and quiet atmosphere are positives, the reported issues with management and maintenance warrant careful consideration.

Cripple Creek RV Park (formerly Eagles Landing RV Park) Reviews
Fred the male counterpart of the duo of ownership per this establishment, was absolutely and utterly disrespectful and disgraceful in his speech and approach to a complete stranger whom happens to be a law-abiding citizen and ex Girl Scout who was visiting a resident of his RV establishments as a friend is there. And Mister and disgustingly approached me speaking as though he were an officer of the law asking me" who are you? " and this being from my respectfully using the restroom facilities leaving it better than I found it and not offending the space he approached me very volatile this establishment would do better without him present at the front desk as he is obviously and clearly not equipped with personal interpersonal skills. If only the business were registered under the Better Business Bureau I would claim to a zero star there as well. Patty you're better than this and I don't know you but I've heard good things you are a nice person and respect your tenants as best I have heard I appreciate your response in the matter if you'd like to contact me I called roughly around 9:00 a.m. February 17th with a 305 number your husband answered and you weren't present
Feb 17, 2025 · Jaclyn Belangeri (Jackie B)The park was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to downtown and most of the tourists attractions. My only complaint would be that they REALLY need to weed eat between sites. The grass was almost knee high.

Apr 10, 2025 · Estelle GarzaWe got there after closing on August 6 and while I was sitting outside the building looking for an after hours number, a lady opened the door. She was super nice and checked me in. The bathrooms were clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Aug 22, 2024 · Justplain MeGreat location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and even the only dispensary in the county right across the street. Standard facilities but clean and comfortable. Will def stay again and recommend!
