Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk Introduce
Are you searching for a mobile home park in the East Las Vegas area? Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk, located at 4650 E Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, presents a community living environment. While you might be searching under the category of "RV parks near me," it's important to note that Cypress Gardens is a mobile home park offering individual units for longer-term residency, distinct from the temporary stays typically associated with RV parks.
Based on recent reviews from residents, Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk presents a somewhat complex picture. One resident who moved in during the second week of July expressed initial hopes for the community, particularly noting the nice interiors of the newly built units. However, this positive initial impression was quickly overshadowed by the discovery of a German cockroach infestation just five days after moving in. The property management was informed, and while they initially sent a pest technician for two treatments, the roaches persisted. Subsequent contact with the office resulted in the management blaming the residents, suggesting they had brought the pests with them, and refusing to cover further pest control services.
This resident's experience further detailed the source of the infestation, which was traced by a hired independent pest technician to a neighboring unit described as "extremely dirty," with dead roaches found between the two properties and live roaches observed around the neighbor's trash bins. The roaches were reported to be crossing over into the resident's home, causing significant stress and anxiety, especially due to the presence of small children. The infestation was so severe that roaches were found in every room, including the mechanical parts of a newly purchased washer and dryer set (as the unit did not come with these appliances).
The affected resident expressed frustration that the property management seemed unaware of the neighbor's infestation, suggesting it might have been an ongoing issue. Furthermore, a neighbor on the other side reported experiencing a roach problem as well, raising concerns about a potential wider issue within the park. This negative experience highlights a significant challenge with pest control and neighborly cleanliness at Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk.
In addition to the pest issues, the same resident reported a maintenance problem with water leaking into their home during heavy rain due to faulty weather stripping around the door. While maintenance was supposedly scheduled to return and fix this, the repair was not completed. This indicates potential issues with the responsiveness and follow-through of the maintenance services within the park.
Another resident who also moved in around the same time in July offered a more balanced perspective. They found the community to be "pretty quiet" and "fairly well kept," noting ongoing efforts to clean up the area. They reported experiencing a few maintenance issues that were addressed "relatively quickly," despite their own high standards for maintenance. This suggests that while maintenance responsiveness might be inconsistent (as indicated by the other review), there are efforts to address resident concerns.
This second resident also commented on the surrounding neighborhood, describing it as "not the best not the worst" but typical for Las Vegas. They found the cost of living to be "pretty reasonable" and reported feeling safe overall. However, they did express a wish for stricter control over "some aggressive dog breeds" within the community, indicating a potential concern regarding pet management.
Interestingly, this second resident mentioned reading about another person who moved in late July and had a bug infestation problem, acknowledging the validity of the first reviewer's experience. They themselves had not experienced such issues but had proactively hired their own exterminator for monthly treatments as a precautionary measure, expressing a strong aversion to living with bugs. This resident also voiced concern about a neighboring unit with "a lot of animals outside," describing it as "like a mini form over there," suggesting potential cleanliness or sanitation concerns in that area as well.
The second resident offered a suggestion to the park management, recommending monthly exterior inspections of every home for trash and debris, as well as a community-wide monthly exterior pest treatment, with residents responsible for interior pest control. They also suggested addressing non-compliance with exterior maintenance as a lease violation. This proactive suggestion underscores the potential for improvement in community-wide maintenance and pest control protocols.
Considering the conflicting experiences, Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk appears to be a community with ongoing efforts towards cleanliness and maintenance, and some residents report a quiet and affordable living environment where they feel safe. However, there are significant concerns raised by at least one resident regarding severe pest infestation originating from neighboring properties and a lack of effective management intervention. Maintenance responsiveness may also be inconsistent. The neighborhood surrounding the park is described as average for Las Vegas.
Given the serious nature of the pest infestation reported by one resident, prospective local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering long-term mobile home living at Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It is strongly recommended to speak with multiple current residents, if possible, to get a broader understanding of the living conditions, pest control measures, and management responsiveness. Inquiring specifically about pest management protocols and the cleanliness standards enforced within the community is crucial.

Cypress Gardens Mobile Home Pk Reviews
I moved the second week of July and really wanted to love this place. We moved into a newly built unit and the mobile home is very nice on the inside BUT 5 days into our move we started noticing German roaches. We let property management know and they told us it was weird since this was a new build. They sent a pest technician to treat the house twice and it helped some but then they kept showing up. I contacted the office again and they blamed us saying we must’ve brought them with us and told us we were responsible for any other pest services….they didn’t want to help fix the problem. I hired another pest technician and after he inspected the outside he started noticing lots of dead roaches in between our unit and the neighbors next door. The neighbors next door are extremely dirty so I let the office know what my pest technician told me. I start paying attention outside and can see them walking around their trash bins on trash day. They keep crossing over into our house and it’s caused so much stress and anxiety for me since I have small children. They are in EVERY room . We had to purchase a $1500 washer and dryer set since there wasn’t one in here and they are living in the mechanical part of my washer. This is ridiculous, I don’t understand how the property management had no idea the neighbors next door have this issue. This is an issue that seems to have been going on for an extended period of time.I have talked to the neighbor on the other side of me and she told me she had a roach problem as well so now I’m wondering if this is a problem multiple units in this park have.On the days it rained heavy there was water coming in through the door. Maintenance was supposed to come back and fix the weather strips but never did. It’s been almost 3 months of dealing with these roaches. The worst part is that the pest technicians told us that it doesn’t matter how much we treat our home they will continue to cross into our unit as long as the neighbors have an infestation. The longer I’m here the more angry and upset I am. Moving isn’t cheap and now we have to figure out where else to move since I cannot live with roaches inside my home. If this was an apartment I could understand that these issues happen but we live in detached homes and now I understand why the sales person was so persistent in having us move into this unit vs the other park. My neighbor said multiple people viewed this place but decided not to move in….it all makes sense now.
Sep 10, 2023 · Jennifer GutierrezI recently moved in here back in July. I must say the community is pretty quiet seems to be fairly well kept and they seem to keep things under control, and they are trying to clean it up more. I have had a few maintenance issues that seem to be addressed relatively quickly, I’m not an easy person to work with It comes to maintenance issues, but they seem to be doing a good job. The neighborhood is not the best not the worst but again this is Las Vegas. The cost to live here is pretty reasonable and overall I feel safe I do wish they did have a little bit more control on some aggressive dog breeds But other than that, everything seems to be fine, and I would highly recommend it To anyone the only advice I would give is, if you’re going to move into a location and you have small children see what type of dog your neighbors have I did read about someone else here who moved in late July dad had an infestation problem of bugs. Currently myself I have not had that issue. I moved from an apartment to here. I went ahead as a precautionary measure hired my own exterminator and I have them coming every month to treat the place and if need be, I will pay to have the big treatment done and continue to pay each month, I do not wanna live with bugs and I hope I do not have the problem that they have but I also think it just depends on where you move into your next to my one neighbor next-door to me. I am slightly concerned because they have a lot of animals outside it’s like a mini form over there . I would give one suggestion to the complex or community management or owners. I think it would be well worth an investment to inspect everybody’s home at least once a month on the outside for trash debris or anything like that. I also think it would be well worth the investment to pay to have an exterminator come in once a month and treat the outside of every once home and make them aware if you rent your responsible for indoor treatment if you own your responsible for indoor treatment, we are going to treat the outside, and if they will not allow you to treat the outside, then you need to look at that as a violation of land lease
Oct 17, 2023 · Rodney DeWeeseManager is hardly ever there now ever since they changed managers. There is trash at the front children's playground the cleaning guy they had before kept it cleen always but now hardly ever see anyone out there cleaning . Manager doesn't let anyone go in office no more. now we have to drop our rent payment in there side slot it's ridiculous .the old manager was there open and ready to assist you with a friendly attitude .
Mar 01, 2022 · Alonso HernandezFirst of all there’s always cars parked outside in the red zone, making it complicated to enter your own driveway . Second , there’s always loud music and party’s every night! Everyone knows each other , so there’s always no parking/ kids outside and cars out in the street. No respect for everyone’s house, kids constantly leaving toys and trashing other people’s homes. A lot of dogs barking and a lot of stray cats. Plus the park , isn’t really a park. Just grass and dirt , no playground for the kids. The pool is never open! No security at night . The office never does anything, the old management was never really there. The old management never did anything . I’m hoping with this new management it improves. The only reason why I’m still here is because the space rent is reasonable.
