Walnut Family Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for a peaceful and family-oriented mobile home park in the Las Vegas area? Look no further than Walnut Family Mobile Home Park, located at 1750 N Walnut Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, USA. While categorized under "RV parks near me," Walnut Family Mobile Home Park primarily offers long-term living opportunities for mobile and manufactured homes. If you are seeking a quiet community to settle down in with your mobile home, this park might be the right fit for you.
Based on available information and real customer reviews, Walnut Family Mobile Home Park presents itself as a relatively small and quiet community. Several long-term residents have appreciated this peaceful atmosphere, highlighting it as a key positive aspect of living here. The park appears to foster a sense of community where residents generally keep to themselves, contributing to a tranquil environment free from excessive noise or disturbances. This could be particularly appealing to families and individuals seeking a calm residential setting.
In terms of amenities, information suggests that Walnut Family Mobile Home Park offers basic facilities. One notable amenity mentioned is a swimming pool, which is typically open during the summer months. This provides residents with a recreational option during the hot Las Vegas climate. However, it's important to note that the park is described as having limited amenities beyond this. Potential residents should consider this if they are looking for parks with extensive recreational facilities or organized activities.
The park has a small on-site manager's office. However, past resident experiences indicate that the manager may not always be readily available on-site. While maintenance requests were reportedly addressed within the legal framework, the level of on-site management presence might be a factor for some individuals to consider. It's advisable to inquire about current management practices and availability to understand the level of on-site support provided.
Regarding the living units themselves, reviews mention that some of the rental units were older. While these units could offer a lovely yard space, they might also come with the need for more frequent maintenance. One former resident specifically pointed out issues related to water problems and the challenge of cooling older units effectively during the intense Las Vegas summer heat, as some units may only have swamp coolers instead of air conditioning. For those considering moving their own mobile home into the park, these issues related to older rental units would likely not be a concern, as homeowners would be responsible for the maintenance and upgrades of their own properties.
The location of Walnut Family Mobile Home Park offers certain conveniences. It is mentioned to be within walking distance of Cortez Elementary School, which could be a significant advantage for families with young children. The community is also described as having a significant Hispanic population, with a friendly atmosphere where residents generally respect each other's privacy. This diverse and respectful environment can contribute to a positive living experience.
While specific promotional information is not available in the provided text, the key selling points of Walnut Family Mobile Home Park, based on resident feedback, appear to be its small size, quiet atmosphere, and clean environment. Its proximity to an elementary school is another potential benefit for families. For individuals who own their mobile homes and are seeking a long-term, peaceful community in Las Vegas, Walnut Family Mobile Home Park could be a viable option. By bringing their own unit, residents can mitigate concerns about the age and maintenance of park-owned rentals and have more control over their living environment, including climate control.
To get the most up-to-date information on lot availability, current management practices, and any specific rules or regulations, it is recommended to contact Walnut Family Mobile Home Park directly at (702) 246-2277 or +1 702-246-2277. Visiting the park in person can also provide a better sense of the community and its environment. When considering Walnut Family Mobile Home Park, weigh the benefits of a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere and its location against the limited amenities and potential for less on-site management presence, especially if you are planning to rent a park-owned unit. For mobile homeowners seeking a long-term spot in a tranquil Las Vegas setting, Walnut Family Mobile Home Park warrants further investigation.

Walnut Family Mobile Home Park Reviews
Lived here for several Years, unfortunately there is a new manager that obviously doesn't know the laws. He loves I mean loves to brag about himself , loves to ask for free stuff / tickets from where I was working for him and his family members. He also brags about who he gives notices too and who he plans on evicting. After all these years I have finally decided to move out of this negative environment. I got served a 10 day notice for my service dog after case was closed to show you how shady this manager is 🤣🤣🤣🤣 walnut estates should really have someone from corporate to actually see how he truly is. So sad to leave this peaceful place but not worth the headache to deal with the new manager Ivan.
Aug 31, 2022 · Lex CorreaI lived here from 2014 to 2016. The park is very small and quiet. The only amenity I remember is the swimming pool that is typically open during summer. There is a small managers office on site, but the manager is almost never there. At the time that I lived here, the park saw several managers...the last being JP. He once told me that he is not required to be on site lolThe unit I rented was very old, but had a lovely yard and was perfect for me and my small child. The age of the unit required a lot of maintenance and there were several water related problems.I ultimately left for two reasons: First, the unit had no AC, but a swamp cooler and when Vegas hits those 100+ digits, the swamp cooler just can't cool the unit down. It was awful. The swamp cooler was brand new and installed when I moved in, but again...it is just no match for this Vegas heat, despite doing all the recommendations like keeping a window open at the opposite end of the house to ensure proper airflow, ensuring that the swamp cooler was adequately saturated, changing filters and paying for regular upkeep out of pocket.Second, there were MANY maintenance issues due to the age of the unit and after living there for 1 year and 9 months, the property manager sent me a new lease agreement that required I pay a $65.00 fee every time I needed them to repair something. I understand that this is a perfectly legal practice if included in your lease agreement, but I thought it ridiculous to pay a fee to maintain and repair a home that I did not own.Would I recommend this park? - Yes.Why would I recommend this park? - Well, again...it is small, quiet and clean. The park is in walking distance to Cortez Elementary. There were mostly families that lived in the park, mainly Hispanic families. Everyone kept to themselves, no loud obnoxious parties. Management may not be on site very often, but they responded to all maintenance requests within the law as stated in the NRS.Renting a home can be trickey business when it comes to maintenance and repairs. I don't think I've ever rented a place in which there weren't some sort of issue with the property management company. However, if you purchase a unit and move it to this park...that should resolve those maintenance issues as you would therefore be responsible for all of it yourself.
Jan 19, 2021 · Moani KuohaPlace is ok management is a little over kill owner wants it like a fancy upscale park but it's not in an upscale part of town. The maintenance guy JR was the most help there but they transferred him. Now some guy in overalls walks around lotta talk no action. But overall it not bad.
Oct 09, 2018 · Cheryl MorrisIf I could give this park a minus five star review I would!!!! This park is a HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. The office manager Jai P. Jethwani never fixes anything that breaks in the rental properties. He charges the tenants 65$-150$ for something to be fixed in a property that is being rented! His general manager Cynthia Duffy is supposed to be in charge of maintenance issues, yet she fails to maintain the park in any way! There are no light bulbs in the street lamps on any of the property. There for it makes it easier to have things stolen from your yard. My family had 2 bicycles and a few soccer balls stolen within a week! There is a pool and its the end of May and it is still not open! Why? Because they are too cheap to pay to maintain it! This is something the residents pay for included in the rent amount! Jai P. Jethwani is constantly jacking up your water bill. Well mine went from 32$-96$ when he started managing the property! They also just love to place the blame on the tenant when anything breaks in the unit. Your toilet over flowed after only being in the unit less than a week? Oh they say we must have shoved baby wipes down the toilet? Why would we do that? The sink and tub are so backed up that the water does not even go down for days! They say we must have shoved a ton of hair into the drains? There are mice feces and a dead mouse under the kitchen cabinet! The manager a Cynthia Duffy said we must have brought the mouse with us and put the feces on the counters for the picture? There is black mold growing underneath your sink and in the attic! Cynthia Duffy and owner Mike Yamin say that it is only insulation? You get a rash and hives from trying to clean up the black mold. The managers say, well you must have bed bugs and thats what the rash is from? We have written and sent over 4 certified letters to the manager and the owner in California and it seems that they are not going to fix any of these issues! We got the story on Action news 13. I am just giving you a fair warning. DO NOT RENT OR BUY ANYTHING IN THIS PARK! YOU WILL REGRET IT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT MAINTAIN ANYTHING!!!!
May 18, 2017 · Positives vibes only !!The property manager is TERRIBLE! He obviously has no clue in regards to what the law is. This guy is very unprofessional and honestly a liability to the company. He has made me and others living in the community very uncomfortable.
