Del Ray II Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or affordable housing options in the Longview, Washington area? Consider Del Ray II Mobile Home Park, located at 5600 Mt Solo Rd, Longview, WA 98632, USA. While primarily a mobile home park, it's worth exploring for individuals seeking a different type of residential living within the local community.
Del Ray II can be contacted at (360) 910-9202 or via mobile phone at +1 360-910-9202 for inquiries about potential vacancies or park policies. Keep in mind that information about availability and specific terms can change, so direct contact is recommended for the most up-to-date details.
Based on available customer reviews, the environment of Del Ray II presents a mixed perspective. One resident of a year describes it as a "decent park," highlighting the potential for more affordable living compared to single-family home rentals in the current market. This resident notes paying $975 for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom space, suggesting a possible cost-saving benefit for those willing to consider mobile home living. The same reviewer also mentions a noticeable increase in the number of children residing in the park since the removal of a 55+ age restriction, indicating a potential shift towards a more family-oriented community.
However, another review paints a less positive picture, alleging that a recent buyout by an out-of-town corporation has led to significant rent increases, potentially displacing residents. This review expresses concern about a rise in vacancies and empty homes, suggesting that the increased rental costs may be making the park less attractive to prospective and current residents. This perspective highlights a potential challenge regarding affordability and management practices within Del Ray II.
In terms of services and features, the information available is somewhat limited. One resident explicitly mentions the absence of amenities despite the space rent of $975. This suggests that Del Ray II might offer a more basic living arrangement, focusing primarily on providing the land for mobile homes rather than extensive communal facilities. The lack of amenities like a play area for children, as noted by a resident, could be a consideration for families. It is important to directly inquire with the park management about the specific services included with the space rent, such as water, sewer, or garbage disposal, and whether any future developments or amenities are planned.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," it's important to clarify that Del Ray II is primarily a mobile home park designed for longer-term residency in manufactured homes. While some mobile home parks might occasionally accommodate RVs on a temporary basis, this is not typically their primary function. Individuals specifically looking for short-term RV parking with full hookups and amenities geared towards recreational vehicles would likely need to explore dedicated RV parks in the Longview area.
For local users exploring housing options, Del Ray II presents a complex picture based on the limited available information. On one hand, it may offer a more affordable housing solution compared to traditional rentals, providing a larger living space for a potentially lower monthly cost. The evolving demographics, with an increasing number of families, could foster a more diverse community environment. On the other hand, concerns regarding rising rent costs and the perceived lack of amenities are significant factors to consider. Potential residents should carefully weigh these points and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Del Ray II Mobile Home Park, local users are strongly encouraged to contact the management directly at (360) 910-9202 or +1 360-910-9202. Inquire about current space rental rates, the terms of the lease agreement, the services included, and any park rules or regulations. It would also be beneficial to ask about the average age of residents and whether there are any community events or initiatives. Visiting the park in person can provide valuable insights into the overall environment, the condition of the spaces, and the general atmosphere of the community. Speaking with current residents, if possible, can offer firsthand perspectives on their experiences living in Del Ray II.
In conclusion, Del Ray II Mobile Home Park in Longview, WA, presents a potential option for those seeking affordability in the local housing market. However, prospective residents should be aware of the reported rent increases and the apparent lack of amenities. Thorough research and direct communication with the park management are crucial steps in determining if Del Ray II aligns with individual housing needs and preferences. While it may not directly cater to the "RV parks near me" category for transient stays, it offers a form of residential living that could be a viable alternative for some local users.

Del Ray II Reviews
I have been here for one year and think it's a decent park. Although space rent is high with no amenities, at $975 I am paying much less for a 2bed/2bath then I would be renting a single family home with a small yard in the current market. It would be nice if they would build a small play area for kids as there are a lot more children living here now that the 55+ restriction has been removed.
Aug 28, 2023 · Kyla ParryThis place was bought out from an out of town Corporation then Jacking all the rents way up to push people out. Lots of vacancies and empty homes. Sad. My friend lives there but who knows for how long if they keep jacking up the rent. They're not good business people if the raise the rent and everyone leaves and nobody want to live there cuz the rent is too high to afford.
Jan 24, 2024 · Christopher skeieWe lived there less than two years ago… lot rent was 640 went up to 790 when we left (in 6 months). I look at the places for sale there now online lot rent will be well over 900$ a month as of January. Because it’s out of city limits there’s no cap on lot rent so it increases 100$ or more every six months to a year. They tried charging for our dogs 700$ (each) and charged us to park a third running vehicle on our own lot… it wasn’t on the street or in an extra vacant space but in our own lot in our driveway. We lived there for about six months. Every time I tried to pay rent online it said I owed way more than I really did constantly had to call and email management and office personnel. The management would show up almost daily and I had to pull up check duplicates from my check book and checking account to prove I had paid… it was insane and a horrible experience especially with COVID going on and being laid off half the year.
Nov 28, 2022 · Monica JusticeAs a previous resident here, I can say from my experience that the property management is EXTREMELY GREEDY. Their lot rent is outrageous especially since they offer zero amenities. They definitely don't care about the people in the park which is truly sad because it is technically a 55 and older park and there are some really good people there. A lot of those people will have no choice but to forfeit their homes because of this company. I really hope that enough people in the park stand together so one day this company can get shut down.
Sep 06, 2021 · Sabrina BoyerMy aunt has lived there over 20years and yes owners and management have changed over the years original owners really nice people.but it has had quite a few GHETTO LANDLORDS THAT ARE VERY NASTY AND HAVE VIOLATED STATE N FED LAWS. As well as residential and handicapped resident rights. They are looking to flip for more bucks so the space rent will increase from $420.00 a month to $520.00 a month as of January 2019. It was usually 20.00 per year prior. The only way to upgrade the park is to charge more cuz even to pave a small area is not cheap. Hopefully it will look as nice as mountain view does since all the replacing of pavement.or overcoat as may be the case. It looks so much better.there is a program now available to catch spay n neuter cats give them shots deflea them and clip one ear. Then return to local environment they are from to control rodents instead of using chemicals. This is a catch n release program and is very successful in many areas..this program is for ferel cats. My aunt has always complied with their rules and yes at different times the management has been vile and abusive to elderly as well as disabled residents. Threats are not above some of the past owners of park and the residents took them to court and won...caution to all who will live here. It really was a great place at one time under Taylor....now not so much. Location is wonderful.
