Desert Haven MHP Introduce
Welcome to Desert Haven MHP, a mobile home park located at 3332 N Romero Rd unit 20A in Tucson, Arizona. For individuals seeking long-term residency or potentially short-term stays within the category of 'RV parks near me' in the Tucson area, Desert Haven MHP offers a location on North Romero Road. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on the limited information available from online customer reviews.
Based on the provided customer feedback, the environment at Desert Haven MHP appears to have significant concerns raised by its residents. One reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction with the management, stating that the manager operates with a "their way or no way" attitude. This suggests a potentially rigid and unaccommodating management style, which could impact the overall living experience for residents. Such a management approach might lead to difficulties in resolving issues or addressing concerns within the community.
Another reviewer provides a detailed account of negative experiences related to the condition of a trailer they were in the process of purchasing and the associated costs. They mention that renting a lot is "not exactly cheap," indicating that the financial investment in living at Desert Haven MHP might be significant. Furthermore, they describe the trailer they moved into as not being in the promised condition, citing incomplete work such as unfinished duct work under the home and inadequately installed propane piping without proper pressure checks. The reviewer also points out unfinished electrical work with unconnected receptacles. A significant concern raised is the poor sealing of the home, which allegedly results in high electricity bills (over $100 per month to keep the home under 90°F during the summer). These detailed issues suggest potential problems with the quality of housing available and the standards of maintenance or preparation for new residents.
The issues raised by the second reviewer also indirectly shed light on the potential services and features, or lack thereof, at Desert Haven MHP. The incomplete repairs and installations suggest a lack of thoroughness in preparing homes for new occupants. The absence of proper pressure checks on the propane system raises safety concerns. The unfinished electrical work indicates a potential disregard for basic functionality and safety standards. The poor sealing of the home, leading to high energy consumption, suggests a lack of attention to energy efficiency and potentially higher living costs for residents. While the reviews do not explicitly mention common mobile home park amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community spaces, the focus on the negative aspects of management and the condition of individual homes suggests that these might not be the primary concerns of the reviewers.
The pricing of lot rentals being "not exactly cheap" is a notable feature, as it sets a certain expectation regarding the quality of the park and the services provided. However, the subsequent experiences shared by the reviewer seem to contradict the expectation of quality that might come with a higher rental cost. The lack of responsiveness from the management, as perceived by one reviewer's statement about the "their way or no way" attitude, could be a significant drawback for potential residents who value open communication and fair treatment. The issues with incomplete repairs, safety concerns regarding propane and electrical systems, and the problem of poor home sealing leading to high utility bills are significant negative features that prospective residents would need to consider carefully.
Promotional information for Desert Haven MHP is not available in the provided text. Given the negative nature of the available reviews, it is possible that the park is not actively promoting itself or that any promotional efforts are not reflected in the sentiments expressed by these reviewers. To obtain information about any current promotions, it would be necessary to contact the management of Desert Haven MHP directly. Inquiries about lot rental rates, the availability of mobile homes for purchase or rent, and any special offers would need to be directed to the park's office.
In conclusion, based on the limited and negative information from the available customer reviews, Desert Haven MHP, located on North Romero Rd in Tucson, Arizona, appears to have significant issues related to management style and the condition of at least one of its properties. One reviewer describes the manager's attitude as inflexible, while another details numerous problems with a trailer they were intending to purchase, including incomplete repairs, potential safety hazards with propane and electrical systems, and poor insulation leading to high utility costs. The cost of lot rental is also noted as being "not exactly cheap," which contrasts with the reported quality and service. Potential residents and RV travelers considering Desert Haven MHP should be aware of these serious concerns and are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the management directly for detailed information about the park's policies, services, maintenance procedures, and the condition of available properties, as well as potentially visiting the site to assess the environment and speak with current residents if possible. The strongly negative feedback raises significant red flags for prospective residents.

Desert Haven MHP Reviews
Manager sucks here it their way or no way
Mar 05, 2025 · Alex SIt's not exactly cheap to rent a lot from these guys, and the trailer I'm signed up to buy wasn't nearly as ready as they said when I moved in, still needing duct work under the home, they just drilled a hole in the wall and threw piping in for propane without pressure checking the system, the electrical isn't finished with some recepticals not even connected, and the whole house has poor sealing causing my electricity bill to be over $100 a month to keep my home under 90° this summer.
