Desert Shores Estates MHP Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in Tucson, Arizona? Desert Shores Estates MHP, located at 1067 W Miracle Mile, Tucson, AZ 85705, USA, is a mobile home park that appears in listings. They can be contacted at (520) 622-4332 or +1 520-622-4332. However, it is crucial to consider the overwhelmingly negative feedback from multiple real customers before making any decisions about residing here.
The available reviews paint a concerning picture of Desert Shores Estates MHP, highlighting significant issues related to management practices, utility reliability, the condition of facilities, and overall resident experience. For those seeking "RV parks near me," it is essential to be aware of these serious allegations and consider them carefully in your decision-making process. An objective introduction based on the provided information strongly suggests caution.
Environment:
While the address indicates a location on W Miracle Mile in Tucson, a major thoroughfare, the reviews provide little positive information about the park's environment. One former resident explicitly advises "10/10 don't live here," citing a culture of retaliation, particularly towards former employees. This suggests a potentially hostile or negative atmosphere within the community. The lack of positive comments about landscaping, cleanliness, or general upkeep further contributes to a concerning environmental assessment.
The mention of a "pond" that is "no longer in use or available" and hasn't been for months indicates a neglected or non-functional amenity, detracting from any potential aesthetic appeal or recreational use it might have once offered. This also suggests a lack of maintenance or investment in the park's features.
The overall tone of the reviews portrays an environment plagued by mismanagement and a lack of concern for residents' well-being, which can significantly impact the quality of life for anyone considering this among "RV parks near me."
Services:
The reviews raise severe concerns about the reliability of essential services at Desert Shores Estates MHP. One particularly alarming account states that "gas went out December 17th and we still have no gas" (as of the time of the review). This prolonged lack of a fundamental utility, especially during potentially colder winter months in Tucson, indicates a severe failure in the park's service provision and a lack of urgency in addressing residents' basic needs. This is a critical issue for anyone considering long-term residency in an RV or mobile home.
Furthermore, a reviewer mentions that "washers and dryers do not work here either," indicating a lack of functional laundry facilities. This essential amenity is often a key consideration for those living in "RV parks near me," and its absence or inoperability can create significant inconvenience for residents.
The accounts of alleged mismanagement, including discrepancies in billing ("tell you you have 2 thousand dollars worth of credits and then just hit you with a 2 thousand dollar rent check"), and questionable legal practices ("never gave us a 7 day notice and we only had 4 days to prepare for court"), further highlight a breakdown in the expected professional and ethical standards of service provision.
Features:
Based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews, the features of Desert Shores Estates MHP appear to be either non-existent, non-functional, or overshadowed by significant management and maintenance issues. The inoperable pond and laundry facilities detract from any potential positive features the park might have once had.
The alleged retaliatory behavior towards residents and former employees creates a hostile atmosphere that negates any positive community features one might typically expect in "RV parks near me." The lack of qualified staff, as mentioned in one review ("They cannot seem to hire qualified staff. The new manager is about as bright as the old manager was."), suggests a systemic issue in the park's operations and management, likely impacting all aspects of the resident experience.
The claim that management will "pretend to be your friends then become aggressive" indicates a lack of trust and a potentially volatile social environment within the park. This is a serious concern for anyone seeking a stable and respectful community among "RV parks near me."
The specific mention of unit 70 and the need for mailbox keys if served with legal notices, while anecdotal, adds to the overall negative impression of a community facing internal issues and potential legal conflicts.
Promotional Information:
Given the severely negative nature of the available reviews, there is no positive promotional information to be extracted about Desert Shores Estates MHP. In fact, the overwhelming sentiment is a strong discouragement from living there. The claim that residents might be told rent is a maximum of $850 per month, which turns out to be inaccurate ("that's not it either lol"), suggests deceptive or misleading practices, further eroding any potential trust or positive perception of the park.
The sarcastic remark about the park manager potentially being one of the first positive commenters (which is not the case in the provided data) underscores the deep distrust and skepticism expressed by former residents regarding any positive portrayals of the park.
The overall message from the reviews serves as a strong anti-promotion, advising potential residents to "just live somewhere else" and labeling the management as "slum lord" with a propensity for "retaliation."
Conclusion:
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Tucson, Arizona, the available information strongly advises against considering Desert Shores Estates MHP. The multiple reviews from former residents paint a disturbing picture of mismanagement, unreliable essential services (including prolonged gas outages and inoperable laundry facilities), a culture of retaliation, and potentially unethical or even legally questionable practices. The lack of positive feedback regarding the environment, features, or management suggests a community facing significant and unresolved issues.
The alleged discrepancies in billing and the accounts of aggressive behavior from management are serious red flags for anyone seeking a stable and respectful living environment. The inoperable pond and the inability to retain qualified staff further indicate a park in significant disrepair and lacking effective leadership.
Instead of finding a welcoming community and reliable services, potential residents risk encountering a hostile environment, unreliable utilities, and a management team described as arrogant and unqualified. The overwhelming advice from those with firsthand experience is to avoid Desert Shores Estates MHP and seek alternative "RV parks near me" in the Tucson area. Thoroughly researching other options and prioritizing parks with positive and verifiable resident feedback is strongly recommended to ensure a safe, comfortable, and stress-free living experience.

Desert Shores Estates MHP Reviews
10/10 don't live here , they are huge on retaliation especially for ex employees, they will tell you you have 2 thousand dollars worth of credits and then just hit you with a 2 thousand dollar rent check gas went out December 17th and we still have no gas , they never gave us a 7 day notice and we only had 4 days to prepare for court .Even tho we had proof I feel the judge was paid off by the head manager Mike , cuz we got maybe 30 seconds to show evidence and proof on why rent was not paid , the management will pretend to be your friends then become aggressive I suggest recording any Incounter you have with management and employment here .Also you will be told rent is max $850 a month and that's not it either lol this company is so un organized and vindictive just live somewhere else . And how convenient the park manager is one of the first two comments on this park 😆Ps good thing we already have another house to move into good job guys lmao whoever gets unit 70 just know if you ever have to be served you need to git keys to the mailbox lolAlso the pond is no longer in use or available hasn't been for months if you are okay with slum lord and retaliation when you don't do what the park wants go ahead and live here , chance was by far the best manager I've experienced here .Also washers and dryers do not work here either heads up.

Apr 01, 2025 · Fran YournI have lived here for almost 10 years and it has been a roller coaster until a little over a year ago. The new ownership and management have made major changes for the better of the community. Chance has been a great help with any issue i have come across and is extremly reasonable in working with me and my neighbors. I reccomend this park to anyone looking for a new home.
Oct 09, 2024 · Dakota HawkinsI have lived at this park for the past decade, up to about a year ago this park was in shambles. Fast forward to present date after the new manager Chance and his team have REVITALIZED the ENTIRE park. Not only have they began construction on a park, pond, volleyball court, basketball court, etc. We used to be POWERLESS AND WATERLESS almost every other day (now we only experience temporary outages due to emergencies) I see the Tennants that have complained on this thread everyday, they are ALL entitled individuals who think they rule the land they live on, when that is simply not the case. I hate to see individuals go out of their way to slander and defame a company/team that does so much for them. Overall this is a wonderful place that continues to grow and IS going to be the go to location on Miracle Mile.
Oct 09, 2024 · Shawn SmithChance should really be re-evaluated by the owner. Pulling guns out on a resident for asking why the water is shut off?? Yeah, he has to go. Terrible management do not rent or buy here!
