Diamond Jack's RV Ranch Introduce
Seeking "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park? Look no further than Diamond Jack's RV Ranch, nestled in the scenic landscape of Jamul, California, at 15724 Lyons Valley Rd, 91935, USA. This hidden gem provides a tranquil escape surrounded by the beauty of nature, offering a unique experience for both short-term visitors and those seeking an inexpensive long-term stay in the East San Diego County region.
Diamond Jack's RV Ranch stands out for its spacious lots, as highlighted by a long-term resident who stayed for nearly a year with a 44 ft rig. The generous lot sizes provide ample room not only for large RVs but also for multiple vehicles and even space for pets to roam and play. This is particularly appealing for travelers with dogs who appreciate having a dedicated area for their furry companions to exercise freely. The reviewer specifically mentioned having "plenty of room for the dogs to run and play," underscoring the pet-friendly nature of this RV park.
While the facilities at Diamond Jack's RV Ranch are described as "a little on the older side," the park compensates with its spaciousness and, notably, its strong sense of safety and community. The same long-term resident attested to the security of the location, stating that they felt comfortable leaving tools unattended for days without any issues. This speaks volumes about the trustworthy environment and the watchful nature of the long-term neighbors who "watch out for each other." This level of security and community vigilance provides peace of mind for all guests, whether staying for a night or an extended period.
For those warm California days, Diamond Jack's RV Ranch features a "very nice" and "relatively good-sized" swimming pool. While not Olympic-sized, it boasts a "very deep end," making it suitable for both leisurely swims and exercise, as enjoyed by the reviewer's wife. This amenity adds significant value, offering a refreshing way to relax and cool down during your stay.
It's important to note that while all spots at Diamond Jack's RV Ranch are equipped with power and water hookups, not all sites have direct sewer connections. However, the park does provide a dump station for the convenience of its guests. This is a common setup in many RV parks, and the availability of a dump station ensures that all RVers can manage their waste effectively, regardless of their specific site's sewer hookup.
The natural environment surrounding Diamond Jack's RV Ranch is a significant draw for many visitors. One reviewer described it as "a beautiful place to find peace beauty and a chance to be submerged in this hidden gem of a forest." This evocative description highlights the park's location amidst the tranquility of nature, offering a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can expect to be immersed in the sounds and smells of "Mother Nature," creating a truly magical experience, especially at night.
Adding to the natural charm is the deliberate lack of excessive artificial lighting throughout the park. This thoughtful approach allows guests to fully appreciate the beauty of the night sky, with unobstructed views of the stars and moon. This commitment to preserving the natural ambiance creates a unique and enchanting atmosphere that is often lost in more brightly lit urban or suburban RV parks.
The management and staff at Diamond Jack's RV Ranch also receive high praise. Teri and her family are specifically mentioned as "AWESOME," with the reviewer noting excellent communication, mutual respect, and gratitude. The welcoming and positive interactions with the staff contribute significantly to the overall experience, making guests feel valued and well-cared for. The reviewer even felt that the environment inspired personal growth, stating, "It's the kind of place that inspires you to be a better person." This heartfelt feedback underscores the positive impact of the park's atmosphere and the people who run it.

Diamond Jack's RV Ranch Reviews
Stayed here for almost a year and my 44 ft rig. We had a very large lot with plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. We had plenty of room for both vehicles the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is a little on the older side but very spacious and very safe I left tools out all the time unattended for days at a time no one ever came by and stole anything all the neighbors have been there for a long time and they watch out for each other I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a inexpensive long-term stay or just stopping through the pool is actually very nice it's relatively good-sized it's not Giant hey but it has a very deep end my wife really loved swimming in it for exercise and having fun obviously. Not all spots have sewer, but as far as I know, they all have power and water. And of course, there is a dump station.
Dec 28, 2023 · David HughesA beautiful place to find peace beauty and a chance to be submerged in this hidden gem of a forest. Truly for the 1st time in a long time I found myself lost in nature's hidden beauty as well as its abundance of blessings. At night it is truly magical... all of the sounds and smells all from "Mother Nature"... Not one area over-lite with artificial lights as to spoil the stars and moon. We cannot express our gratitude and we are absolutely blessed to be here. Teri and family are AWESOME. We communicated perfectly and felt nothing but respect and gratitude both ways. It's the kind of place that inspires you to be a better person. Thank you.
Mar 21, 2024 · Ilona EllsworthPro: Water, Power, Dump site, Pool, Hiking, Pet Friendly, No age restrictions.Con(none of): WiFi, Full hook ups, fire pits.Diamond Jacks is what it is; a secluded little RV park. There are only partial hook ups, water and power. For site renters there is free black-water dumping, or $20 for the honey wagon (Honigwagen) service. There is an un-heated pool which is great in the summer because it is ice cold even when it is 100 degrees outside. Overall the place is clean but best for RV'ers and trailers. You can tent camp out there but if it is rainy season look elsewhere; the lots tend to have a run off slop to them. It is located up a bit of a windy road so know how to handle your rig around tight spots. That being said it is down in a valley; which does offer excellent views and some niche hiking spots. like the website says not far from town though you are looking at a minimum 20 to 30 minute drive out of the valley to any major shopping centers.Three stars for the services, an extra for the off leash Hiking.
Mar 12, 2020 · Spawn 0f Sat1nIf you want to be somewhere quiet this is definitely where you want to be! It’s an older park but that’s part of its charm! We love it here, the owners are nice, the bathhouse is clean, no loud music or noise of any kind really! Best of all no border patrol doing 60mph thru the park and I haven’t heard one border patrol helicopter since we’ve been here!!
Mar 15, 2024 · Elizabeth Bennett HernandezA vast wasteland of potholes and dirt. Looks like an RV & Trailor Graveyard. Managers, a lovely couple, are never available and seem not to care about the property. It shows.Better places around.Men's toilets are for children and unusable for adults.Dwellers of this place look like they came right from the Prison Yard. Don't go! Potholes will Damage your Rig..
