Eagle's Nest RV Resort appears to be a well-regarded option for those seeking "RV parks near me," as indicated by the positive feedback from recent visitors. The reviews highlight the friendly and helpful nature of the staff, particularly mentioning Marta, who handles reservations, and TJ, the camp host. Marta is commended for her ability to find a spot for guests even on very busy weekends, such as the 4th of July, indicating a willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate travelers with last-minute plans. This level of service can be crucial for those on the road who may not have the luxury of booking far in advance.
Upon arrival, guests are likely to be greeted by TJ, the camp host, who is also described as "very nice" and "helpful." The presence of a dedicated camp host suggests a commitment to ensuring guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay, providing assistance and information as needed. This personal touch can significantly enhance the overall experience at an RV resort.
One reviewer specifically mentioned the scenic environment of the park, noting that "the picture doesn't do it justice." This suggests that the actual beauty and ambiance of Eagle's Nest RV Resort may exceed what can be captured in photographs. The reviewer also described their site as being "in the back of the park & backed up to the woods," in an area affectionately referred to as "Geezerville" by younger guests. This implies that some sites at the resort offer a more secluded and nature-oriented experience, backing onto wooded areas and providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. For those who appreciate a more natural setting and the shade and beauty of trees, these wooded sites would be a significant draw.
The invitation to "come take a peak" and "just ask for the Camp Host TJ" upon arrival further reinforces the welcoming atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff. This personal invitation encourages potential guests to visit the resort and experience its environment and hospitality firsthand.

Eagle's Nest RV Resort Reviews
Stayed there in our camper for 2 nights. Very last minute plans on a very busy 4th of July weekend. Marta(reservation person) was so friendly and helpful, and found a spot for us . Thank you Marta! Once we got there we met a guy named TJ(camphost) very nice guy, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and will use them again.
Jul 08, 2024 · ic u812The picture doesn't do it justice. We are in the back of the park & backed up to the woods in "Geezerville" as the youngsters call it. Come take a peak. When you get here just ask for the Camp Host TJ. He'll take care of ya.
Jul 26, 2024 · Dan HuntAwesome Campground very well keep all lawns looks like mowed just for me, restrooms and showers clean and smell fresh. The best keep secret at Truman. We found we came to stay and never left just love everyone so much and the owners Rick & Leslie you are AWESOME. Thanks
Oct 14, 2019 · DeNell HendricksI had to write this review! We pulled in after the Downhams and they couldn't be more wrong! This is the best park in the Truman Lake area! Not sure why they thought they could stay here for only $100/month when the rate is $350/month?!? They complained about everything and expected special pricing for some reason!?! Then they gave them a bad review. Don't believe them! The park is mostly a yearly park and is currently full with a waiting list - the people we talked to love it here!!
Jun 17, 2017 · Hannah KovarWe rented a spot here in November 2020. Couldn’t live our rig in til Mid March 2021. Lost 4 months. Paid upfront and also paid our electric upfront. Used park 3 times due to Covid sickness and even death form Covid in my immediate family. Received an email in September telling us we would no longer have our spot or contract in campground. When I asked why here was the owners response: You suggested your parents to our park and they paid the $100 deposit and the decided not to rent from us??? I said how did that reflect on me?? My parents were interested in their park and had til February 15th to make up their minds if they would take the spot for sure or not. If they decided against it they lost their $100. They decided they were getting too old to camp or tow a camper any longer so decided not to. The owner said my parents cost them hundreds of dollars. Remember the spot was rented from previous people til February. All I can figure is that the owner wanted to double up on what she made off the other people then who ever rented it next. When I voiced publically why I thought I was actually being kicked out, they went nuts. We got a threatening voicemail from the husband owner telling us to move our stuff immediately or the ball would start rolling. Not knowing if that was a personal injury threat or threat to our property we got our stuff out. We asked for the 71 days we lost at the end and the remainder of our electric back and Lesli told us we were crazy and even threatened to go to my pace of employment and bad mouth me. All this in writing. We got our electric back but told if we returned to use our spot we would be trespassing. She did inform us that there were 6 gays in her park. Now question is?? If you don’t have a problem with or mind gay people, then how do you know exactly how many you have?? I would highly suggest not renting here.
