Situated in a fantastic location near restaurants, stores, and the scenic lakes of Lake Park, GA, this resort aims to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all travelers. You can reach them at (229) 559-5192 or +1 229-559-5192 for reservations and inquiries.
Based on recent customer reviews, Eagle's Roost RV Resort has garnered high praise for its hospitality and facilities. One reviewer awarded it a perfect 10/10, emphasizing the "Amazing Hospitality & Beautiful Grounds." This guest recounted a remarkable experience following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, where the owners generously provided free accommodation, highlighting their exceptional care for their guests. Such acts of kindness are noted as rare and deeply appreciated, setting Eagle's Roost apart.
The campground's location is frequently mentioned as a significant advantage, offering proximity to essential conveniences like restaurants and stores, as well as the natural beauty of the lakes in Lake Park, GA. This allows guests to easily access local amenities and explore the surrounding scenic areas. The RV sites themselves are described as "spotless," featuring concrete pull-through pads, which greatly simplify the setup process for RVers of all sizes. The cleanliness extends to the public bathrooms and showers, which are noted as being exceptionally well-maintained – a crucial aspect for many travelers.
Eagle's Roost RV Resort provides full hookup amenities, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay with water, electricity, and sewer connections at each site. For relaxation and recreation, the resort features a pool, offering a refreshing way to cool off, especially during the warmer months. A unique feature of the resort is its neighboring flea market, described as "busy but full of charm," where visitors can find fresh fruits, vegetables, and unique items. The overall atmosphere is consistently described as "welcoming," with both the staff and fellow campers being exceptionally friendly, fostering a strong sense of community.
However, it's important to consider all recent feedback to gain a balanced perspective. A more recent review from a long-term returning guest indicates a potential decline in the park's maintenance. This reviewer, who has stayed at Eagle's Roost often while traveling along Interstate 75, expressed surprise at the current condition of the RV park. They noted "many, many down trees between the park and the lake," which they assume are a result of recent hurricanes. Additionally, they pointed out that the dog walk area was "overgrown," and the dog clean-up station was no longer present. This guest concluded that "it looked as if the grounds aren't maintained, as they used to be."
Considering both reviews, Eagle's Roost RV Resort appears to offer exceptional hospitality and well-maintained core facilities such as campsites and restrooms. The location is convenient, and the amenities like full hookups and a pool are definite positives. The friendly atmosphere and unique neighboring flea market add to its charm. However, the more recent feedback regarding the lack of grounds maintenance, particularly concerning the down trees and the condition of the dog walk area, suggests that some aspects of the resort's upkeep may have declined.
The environment of Eagle's Roost RV Resort seems to be generally pleasant, with the earlier review highlighting its beauty and the latter noting the presence of down trees, potentially affecting the scenic view towards the lake. The proximity to Lake Park's natural attractions remains a significant draw. The minimal information about landscaping in general makes it difficult to assess the overall aesthetic beyond the specific issues mentioned.
In terms of services and features, the resort offers full hookups, clean restrooms and showers, a pool, and access to a neighboring flea market. The friendly staff and welcoming community are consistently highlighted as key features contributing to a positive guest experience. However, the recent review indicates a potential lapse in grounds maintenance services, which could impact the overall enjoyment for some visitors, especially those with pets.
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. To learn about any current special offers, seasonal rates, or group discounts, it would be best to contact Eagle's Roost RV Resort directly via phone or their website, if available. Given the positive feedback regarding hospitality, it's likely they strive to provide good value for their services.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lake Park, GA area, Eagle's Roost RV Resort presents a compelling option due to its reputation for outstanding hospitality, clean facilities, and convenient location near local attractions and amenities. The presence of full hookups and a pool adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the stay. However, potential visitors should be aware of the recent feedback concerning possible lapses in grounds maintenance, particularly if they are traveling with pets or value well-kept natural surroundings within the park.
It is recommended that prospective guests consider both the overwhelmingly positive initial review and the more recent concerns about maintenance when making their decision. Contacting the resort directly to inquire about the current status of grounds maintenance and any ongoing efforts to address these issues would be a prudent step. Despite the recent maintenance concerns, the strong emphasis on hospitality and the quality of the core facilities still make Eagle's Roost RV Resort a noteworthy option for RV travelers in the region.
In conclusion, Eagle's Roost RV Resort offers a welcoming atmosphere with exceptional hospitality and clean, well-maintained essential facilities. Its convenient location near Lake Park's attractions and amenities is a significant advantage. While a recent review suggests potential issues with grounds maintenance, the overall positive feedback, particularly regarding the staff and core amenities, indicates a resort that prioritizes guest comfort and experience. Local RV enthusiasts seeking a friendly and well-equipped park in the Lake Park area should consider Eagle's Roost RV Resort, while also keeping in mind the recent maintenance concerns.

Feb 14, 2025 · MARK RECINOSWe've stay here often over the years, when traveling along Interstate 75. We were surprised at the condition of the RV park. Many, many down trees between the park and the lake, we assume due to the hurricanes. The dog walk area was overgrown and the dog clean up station is no longer there. It looked as if the grounds aren't maintained, as they used to be.
Apr 30, 2025 · Misty MooThis rv resort can be so much more with some investment. My concrete super site was somewhat unlevel from front to back. The area around the cracked concrete pad was super sandy and unkept. Dead oak tree limbs/branches over hanging the site were a concern. Bathhouses were clean. Conveniently located off Interstate 75, however, loud Interstate traffic noise non stop. Fresh water hookup had a light brown appearance.
Mar 12, 2025 · Christine F.We only setup at the Flea Market attached to the RV Park. Sunday was our busiest day. Lots of Vendors setup and lots of Bargains to be found . I bought a few Tomato plants and zucchini plants at reasonable prices from the Produce booth up front.
Apr 01, 2025 · Doreen OrieThe RV park has been ravaged by the hurricanes over the last several years including Helene. They lost many trees and damaged the rest of them. The RV park is a great location for overnight stays if you're traveling to Florida or back north due to being close to the highway. It has a small pool, swing set shuffle board and etc. which are old and not maintained. Overall it is a good place to stop overnight on your way through to your final destination.
