Nothing included with lot rent; water, trash, and lawn care are all the responsibility of the tenant. I'm aware that road maintenance, private plumbing/sewer, private utility poles, taxes, and management cost money, but with about 100 homes in this park times $600 per month, I really do wonder where the $60,000 in revenue goes.No enforcement of lease provisions regarding garbage/debris in the lawn - many folks here take advantage of the fact that management won't do anything about this, and it diminishes the property values for home owners.3 water outages in the last 6 months. Extended outage this evening, with no updates from property management since the outage (which they claimed would be "brief") began at 1pm (it is now 930pm). As a landlord myself, I understand that projects can quickly become more involved than originally planned, but this is discourteous to your tenants to not provide any updates, especially as folks are coming home from work, trying to cook dinner, and trying to get on with their evening. Property management is inaccessible for updates at this time of the evening. EDIT: I had to go stay with family due to the water outage, and on the way out, I saw a crew at work on Center Street. I am glad the issue is being addressed, but communication from management is insufficient.A few weeks ago, I inquired about a repair timeframe for the numerous significant potholes upon entry to the park - so significant and numerous that they cannot be avoided. These things are bigger than your standard NY potholes... quite literally, they are large enough that a small-to-medium dog could hide in the largest ones. Management informed me that they are "monitoring the weather," and that the repairs would take place when weather allows. Cold patch can be installed in any weather conditions, and while not the "best" solution, it certainly should have been used at least temporarily. Last week, somebody (maybe another resident who is fed up?) dumped some gravel in the potholes. This gets the job done for now, but if this was management's temporary solution, it's embarrassing that they took so long and selected such a poor method of repair.Management does not appear to value park residents/owners. Fortunately, the regional PM is at least friendly, but friendliness cannot rectify the lack of pride that is apparent someplace in the management chain. Please be advised that you will encounter issues like these if you live here. - Justin Wanke

For local users exploring "RV parks near me" or seeking a longer-term residential option within a community setting, Farmington Manufactured Home Community presents a potential solution. While primarily a manufactured home community offering residential living, some such communities may also provide limited spaces or amenities that could be relevant to RV owners seeking short-term or extended stays. It's important to understand the distinction between a traditional RV park and a manufactured home community to determine if Farmington Manufactured Home Community aligns with your specific needs, whether for temporary RV parking or permanent residency.

The environment of Farmington Manufactured Home Community is generally designed to foster a sense of community living. You can typically expect well-maintained grounds, potentially including paved streets, sidewalks, and common green spaces. The layout will primarily feature manufactured homes situated on individual lots, which may be leased or owned depending on the community structure. The landscaping can vary, but often includes lawns, trees, and communal planting areas. The atmosphere is typically more akin to a residential neighborhood than a transient RV park, with residents often forming a stable and long-term community. Depending on the location within Farmington, the surrounding area might offer a mix of residential, commercial, and recreational opportunities. Access to local amenities such as shopping centers, schools, and healthcare facilities would be a consideration for residents. For RV owners, the environment might include designated RV parking areas, which could be separate from the residential lots and potentially offer different levels of hookups and space. The overall ambiance aims to provide a comfortable and stable living environment for its residents.

The services offered at Farmington Manufactured Home Community are primarily geared towards the needs of long-term residents living in manufactured homes. These often include community management and maintenance services, such as groundskeeping, street maintenance, and possibly snow removal. Depending on the community, there might be shared amenities like a clubhouse, laundry facilities, playgrounds, swimming pools, or recreational areas. Utilities such as water, sewer, and trash disposal are typically provided to residents, often billed separately. For RV owners, if the community offers RV spaces, the services might include hookups for electricity, water, and sewer at the individual sites. Access to restrooms and showers might also be available, although these could be more limited than in a dedicated RV park. It's crucial to inquire specifically about the services available for RVs, including the duration of stay permitted, the types and capacity of hookups, and access to any community amenities. The primary focus of Farmington Manufactured Home Community is residential living, so RV services might be more limited and intended for temporary stays rather than the comprehensive amenities found in a traditional RV park.

The features of Farmington Manufactured Home Community are designed to create a comfortable and community-oriented residential environment. For manufactured home residents, this includes the opportunity to own or lease a home within a planned community, often with more affordable housing options compared to traditional single-family homes. The sense of community, with neighbors and shared amenities, can be a significant feature. For RV owners, potential features might include the availability of larger spaces or longer-term stays than some traditional RV parks, offering a more stable base while exploring the area or during a transition. The presence of community amenities like a clubhouse or laundry facilities could also be an advantage for RVers seeking more than just basic hookups. However, it's important to reiterate that the primary features are centered around manufactured home living. Any RV accommodations would likely be a secondary offering, and the features might reflect this. For example, the community might offer a quieter, more residential atmosphere compared to a busy tourist-focused RV park. Understanding the community's primary purpose will help RV users determine if the available features meet their needs.

Information regarding promotional offers at Farmington Manufactured Home Community will largely depend on their current occupancy and marketing strategies for both manufactured home sales or rentals and any available RV spaces. For those interested in purchasing a manufactured home, there might be promotions related to financing, lot fees, or upgrades. These details would typically be available through the community's sales office or website. For RV owners, promotional offers might be less common in a manufactured home community, but it's still worth inquiring about potential weekly or monthly rates for RV spaces, especially for longer stays. Checking the community's website or contacting their management directly would be the best way to obtain any information about current specials or discounts for both residential and RV options. Local real estate listings or manufactured home sales websites might also provide information about purchasing homes within the community. For RV stays, online RV park directories or contacting the community's management are the recommended steps to inquire about availability and rates.

In conclusion, Farmington Manufactured Home Community is primarily a residential community offering manufactured homes for sale or lease, providing a stable and community-oriented living environment for local users. While it may also offer limited spaces or amenities relevant to those searching for "RV parks near me," the focus is generally on long-term residency rather than short-term RV stays. Local users interested in either option should directly contact the community's management or visit their website to inquire about availability, services, features, and any current information regarding manufactured home sales or rentals, as well as any accommodations and rates for RVs. Understanding the primary nature of the community will help prospective residents and RVers determine if Farmington Manufactured Home Community meets their specific housing or temporary lodging needs.
