Fawn Lake Village Introduce
Located at 1004 US-206, Shamong, NJ 08088, USA, Fawn Lake Village is a mobile home community in Burlington County. With contact phone numbers (609) 268-0333 and +1 609-268-0333, Fawn Lake Village may appear under the category "RV parks near me" on some online platforms. However, based on the available information, it primarily functions as a residential park offering long-term living in manufactured homes. Reviews from past and present individuals associated with Fawn Lake Village provide insights into its environment, features, and management over time.
One recent reviewer describes Fawn Lake Village as a "small, quaint mobile home community" that is "Under New Management." This new management is credited with having "done so much to improve the community and it's curb appeal." The reviewer expresses a highly positive experience, noting that the new management, specifically Rick and Donna, are "awesome to work with" and "very accommodating." This individual had recently purchased their first mobile home in the village and was looking forward to moving in, anticipating a positive long-term relationship with the management. The reviewer encourages others to "Take a look" and expresses confidence that they will be "surprised at the changes they've made to better this community." This testimonial strongly suggests a community on an upward trajectory due to positive changes implemented by the new management.
A historical perspective is offered by a former resident who lived in Fawn Lake Village in 1968-69 while stationed at nearby Fort Dix. This individual recalls a mobile home park, then possibly run by someone named Hobie Gardner, that featured a "natural lake for swimming." Their fond memories of "Fawn Lake then" and surprise that it is "still there!!" after so many years highlight the enduring nature of the community and the presence of a natural lake as a significant feature in its past. This historical account underscores the potential for a long-standing community with natural amenities.
Combining these two reviews, the environment of Fawn Lake Village appears to be characterized by a small and quaint setting, enhanced by the presence of a natural lake. The recent positive review indicates that the "curb appeal" of the community has been improved under new management, suggesting efforts towards maintaining a visually pleasant environment. The historical account confirms the existence of a natural lake suitable for swimming, which would have been a significant environmental and recreational feature. It remains to be seen if the lake is still used for swimming and what its current condition is under the new management.
In terms of services and features, the historical review mentions a "natural lake for swimming," which would have been a key recreational amenity. Mobile home parks typically offer essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity hookups for each lot. Residents are usually responsible for their individual utility consumption. Refuse removal and maintenance of common areas are also standard services. The recent review's praise for the new management's accommodation and the improved "curb appeal" suggests a focus on resident satisfaction and community upkeep. The fact that someone recently purchased a mobile home there implies that the park facilitates either the sale of homes within the community or the leasing of lots for privately owned homes.
Given the positive changes under new management, it is possible that additional improvements to services and features have been implemented. These could potentially include enhanced landscaping, updated infrastructure, or new community facilities. However, specific details about these are not provided in the reviews. The mention of a lake as a past amenity raises the possibility that it continues to be a feature, perhaps with updated facilities or regulations for its use. Prospective residents would need to inquire about the current status and accessibility of Fawn Lake.
When considering Fawn Lake Village in the context of "RV parks near me," it's important to recognize that it is primarily a mobile home park designed for long-term residential living. While the presence of a lake might be an attractive feature for recreational vehicle owners, mobile home parks typically do not offer the short-term amenities and services common in RV parks, such as daily or weekly rates, transient hookups, or recreational programs geared towards short-term stays. Therefore, individuals seeking temporary RV camping in the Shamong area should look for facilities specifically designated as RV parks or campgrounds.
The key features of Fawn Lake Village appear to include its small, quaint nature, the presence of a natural lake (historically used for swimming), and the positive impact of new management on the community's appeal and resident relations. The long history of the park, as indicated by the former resident's review, suggests a stable and enduring community. The enthusiasm of the recent purchaser highlights the potential for a welcoming and improving living environment. The accessibility and current state of Fawn Lake itself would be a significant feature for potential residents to investigate.
Promotional information is somewhat implied in the recent positive review, which encourages prospective residents to "Take a look" at the community and witness the improvements made by the new management. This serves as a positive endorsement and a call to action for those seeking a mobile home living option in the Shamong area. To obtain more specific promotional details, such as any current incentives for purchasing or moving into a home in Fawn Lake Village, interested parties should contact the new management directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about lot availability, the process of purchasing or leasing a home or lot, associated costs (including lot rent and any community fees), and the current rules and regulations of the community would also be essential steps for potential residents.
In conclusion, Fawn Lake Village in Shamong, NJ, presents itself as a small and quaint mobile home community that has benefited from new management focused on improvements. Its historical feature of a natural lake for swimming adds to its unique appeal. Positive feedback regarding the new management's accommodation and the enhanced curb appeal suggests a welcoming and improving living environment. Individuals looking for long-term residential options in a mobile home park setting near Shamong, NJ, should consider Fawn Lake Village, keeping in mind to verify the current status of the lake and contacting the new management for the most up-to-date information on availability, costs, and community features. While listed under "RV parks near me" on some platforms, its primary function is as a residential mobile home community.

Nov 03, 2018 · Jilleen KitsonI lived in Fawn Lake Village in 1968-69 while serving at nearby Fort Dix. It was a place run by Hobie Gardner, I believe - and was a mobile home park with a natural lake for swimming. Would love to know how much it has changed, and are there any photos of Fawn Lake Village now...Jim Calandrillo, Spec 5 in 1968 army. I loved Fawn Lake then. Can't believe it is still there!!
Jul 30, 2015 · James CalandrilloAwful mobile park owners if you buy one in there you'll never get an approved buyer.... they'll deny all until you hand your title over for them to own...then immediatly an approved buyer takes it off thier hands...how lucky for those park owners at Fawn Lake!

(she mumbles so not sure which is her name)
Apr 10, 2015 · Sam-O Carter (Goalie-O)Omg this place is a disgrace....there is so much pettiness n why would they put an alcholol store right here.....kids have nothing to do with themselves and frowned upon for living here...the rules and regulations mean nothing.
