Feissner's Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in Berwick, Pennsylvania, seeking information about residential options and exploring platforms categorized as "rv parks near me," this introduction provides an objective overview of Feissner's Mobile Home Park, located on Park Rd, Berwick, PA 18603, USA. It is important to note that the information presented here is based on publicly available feedback and aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the environment, services, and features as described by individuals who have experience with the property.
Location and Accessibility: A Key Advantage
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Feissner's Mobile Home Park is its convenient location within Berwick. Situated on Park Rd, the park benefits from its proximity to several local amenities. According to available feedback, the park is located across the street from a park, which is noted as a significant advantage for families with children, offering accessible recreational space. Furthermore, the mobile home park is within walking distance or a short drive to essential and convenient establishments such as Sheetz, Giants (presumably a grocery store), Ace Hardware, Dollar General, and McDonald's, among other places. This accessibility to daily necessities and recreational areas can be a significant factor for local users considering residing in the park.
Environment and Infrastructure: Areas of Concern
However, publicly available reviews raise several concerns regarding the environment and infrastructure of Feissner's Mobile Home Park. Multiple sources describe the presence of severely dilapidated structures within the park. While some trailers are noted as being in fairer condition, a significant portion is described as needing substantial renovation or potentially being beyond repair. This suggests a varied state of housing quality within the community.
Another recurring theme in the feedback is the upkeep of individual lots and common areas. Several reviewers mention that many residents do not maintain their yards, leading to scattered trash and debris throughout the lots and along the roadways. This lack of consistent maintenance can impact the overall aesthetic and potentially the quality of life within the park. The issue of some occupants being described as hoarders further contributes to concerns about cleanliness and order within the community.
Infrastructure limitations are also highlighted. The roadways within the mobile home park are described as being too narrow to comfortably accommodate two vehicles simultaneously. This can lead to difficulties with traffic flow and potentially safety concerns. Additionally, parking appears to be a significant issue, with some lots having no designated parking or parking that extends several cars deep, potentially causing inconvenience for residents and visitors.
A critical environmental concern raised in the feedback is the propensity for flooding. The reviews indicate that the park experiences flooding even with moderate rainfall of just an inch or two. This recurring issue can lead to property damage and disruptions for residents, and it is a significant factor to consider for potential local users.
Services and Community: Mixed Perspectives
Information regarding specific services provided by Feissner's Mobile Home Park is limited in the publicly available feedback. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic utilities and possibly common area maintenance. However, the negative comments regarding overall upkeep suggest that the level of maintenance may be a concern. Potential local users would need to independently verify what services are included with residency and the quality of their provision.
The sense of community within Feissner's Mobile Home Park appears to be a complex issue based on the feedback. While one reviewer mentions that "everybody knows everybody's business," indicating a close-knit environment, this is also framed as a lack of privacy due to the close proximity of the homes. The same reviewer notes that the park can be quiet on occasion but is often noisy due to the use of equipment and tools, arguments, partying, and frequent traffic in and out of the property. This suggests a potentially variable and sometimes disruptive living environment.
Furthermore, serious concerns are raised regarding the presence of "known addicts and offenders" frequenting the property. This is a significant safety and security consideration for potential residents and warrants careful consideration. The claim from previous tenants about recurring infestations of bed bugs or cockroaches is also a serious issue that could impact the health and comfort of residents.
Potential Opportunities and Considerations for Hard Times
Despite the numerous negative aspects highlighted in the reviews, one reviewer offers a pragmatic perspective, acknowledging that in "a pinch and hard times, a roof over your head is valued and essential." They suggest that for individuals with the skills, time, and financial resources for construction and renovation, purchasing or renting a dilapidated trailer with the intention of fixing it up over time could be an option. This perspective acknowledges the potential for affordable housing, albeit with significant caveats regarding the condition of the properties and the effort required to make them habitable.
The reviewer also mentions the uncertainty regarding rental pricing, potential rent-to-own options, or the possibility of buying a trailer outright. Local users interested in these options would need to directly inquire with the management of Feissner's Mobile Home Park for detailed information on costs and terms.
Promotional Information and Recommendations
Based on the overwhelmingly negative feedback available publicly, it is challenging to identify any explicit promotional information for Feissner's Mobile Home Park. The reviews paint a picture of a community facing significant challenges related to infrastructure, maintenance, safety, and overall living conditions. Therefore, this introduction cannot highlight typical promotional aspects such as community events, updated amenities, or positive testimonials.
For local users actively searching for "rv parks near me" as a broader category for potential housing solutions, it is crucial to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Feissner's Mobile Home Park. This due diligence should include:
- Visiting the property in person: A firsthand inspection of the current conditions of the mobile homes, roadways, and common areas is essential.
- Speaking with current residents (if possible): Gathering direct perspectives from individuals currently living in the park can provide valuable insights beyond online reviews.
- Inquiring about management practices: Understanding the responsiveness of management to maintenance requests and safety concerns is crucial.
- Investigating the history of issues: Looking into any official records or reports related to the flooding, infestations, or safety concerns mentioned in the reviews.
- Comparing with other options: Exploring other mobile home parks or "rv parks near me" in the Berwick area to assess alternative living arrangements and their associated costs and conditions.
Conclusion: A Need for Thorough Investigation
In conclusion, while Feissner's Mobile Home Park in Berwick, PA, benefits from a convenient location with proximity to a park and various amenities, publicly available feedback raises significant concerns regarding the dilapidated state of many structures, poor maintenance of lots and common areas, infrastructure limitations such as narrow roadways and parking issues, a history of flooding, and potential safety and health concerns. Local users considering this property as a residential option found through the "rv parks near me" category are strongly advised to conduct a comprehensive investigation and carefully weigh the potential drawbacks against the limited positive aspects before making any decisions. The information available suggests that significant improvements and renovations may be necessary for many of the properties within the park to meet acceptable living standards.

Feissner's Mobile Home Park Reviews
Severely dilapidated structures in this Mobile Home Park. Some trailers are fair(still not an option I would take) but the majority of them either need a lot of renovations/remodeling or should be condemned. Very few people keep up their yards, leaving trash/debris scattered throughout the lots and road. Some occupants can be known as hoarders. Have heard from previous tenants/reliable sources, that it tends to become infested with either bed bugs or cockroaches through out the year every year without fail. A lot of known addicts and offenders tend to frequent this property. Everybody knows everybodys business, theres hardly any privacy as everyone is close in Proximity. It has only gotten worse over the years. Can be a quiet place on occasion but for the most part, noisy at any given time. Either equipment/tools are being used, people arguing and getting belligerent or partying or dealing with a high volume of traffic constantly in and out. Not a place I could/would consider comfortable or even home. However in a pinch and hard times, a roof over your head is valued and essential so if you can do the construction it needs and have the time and money, you can always fix it up as you go. Not sure on the pricing of rent. I'm sure you can rent to own or even buy the trailer out right. The only positive I can say about this premises is that it is close to the park, which is great for the kids, located across the street, not too far from sheetz, giants, ace, dollar general, McDonald's, and a few other convenient places. It is within walking distance for those who like to be active.
Aug 31, 2023 · Sarah FreemanRoadways are too small for 2 vehicles. Children in the road at all hours of day and night pets cats &dogs as well. Parking on one side non existant on the other none at all or 3 cars deep depending on the lot. And it floods everytime it rains more than an inch or two.
