Forest View Hideaway Introduce
For local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the beautiful region of Waynesville, North Carolina, Forest View Hideaway, located at 370 Sunshine Cove Rd, Waynesville, NC 28785, USA, presents itself as a potential option for RV camping. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of Forest View Hideaway, based on the limited and conflicting information available online, to outline its environment, potential services, features, and community aspects for prospective visitors. For inquiries or bookings, you can contact them at (828) 558-1569 or +1 828-558-1569.
Situated in Waynesville, Forest View Hideaway is located in a region known for its stunning natural landscapes, including the Great Smoky Mountains and a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. The name "Forest View Hideaway" suggests a setting that is likely surrounded by or offers views of the local forests, potentially providing a tranquil and scenic environment for RV campers seeking a retreat in nature. The address on Sunshine Cove Road hints at a location that may offer a degree of seclusion while still being accessible from the main areas of Waynesville.
The environment of Forest View Hideaway, as an RV park, would typically consist of individual campsites designed to accommodate recreational vehicles. These campsites would likely vary in size and layout to accommodate different types of RVs. The presence of trees and natural vegetation would contribute to the "forest view" aspect and could offer shade and a sense of privacy for campers. The overall upkeep and landscaping of the park would play a crucial role in the quality of the environment experienced by guests.
In terms of services, RV parks generally provide essential utilities to ensure a comfortable stay for RV travelers. These typically include electric hookups with varying amperage to meet the power needs of different RVs, water hookups for a fresh water supply, and sewer hookups for waste disposal. Additionally, many RV parks offer common amenities such as restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. Given the limited information, it is essential for prospective guests to contact Forest View Hideaway directly to inquire about the specific services and amenities available.
Features of Forest View Hideaway might include the types of campsites offered (e.g., pull-through or back-in), the surface of the sites (e.g., gravel, grass), and the presence of individual amenities at each site, such as picnic tables and fire rings or barbecue grills. The "hideaway" aspect of the name suggests that the park might offer a more secluded or private camping experience compared to larger, more crowded RV parks. The natural surroundings could also provide opportunities for activities such as hiking or nature walks directly from the park.
The community aspect of Forest View Hideaway is difficult to assess based on the limited information. RV parks can foster a sense of community among travelers, especially those staying for longer periods. However, the two available reviews present a potentially contentious relationship between the park management (referred to as Kenn) and at least one prospective long-term renter. These reviews do not offer insights into the broader community atmosphere within the park among short-term campers.
The two customer reviews provided offer conflicting perspectives related to a rental application process and interactions with the park management. One review, seemingly from the owner or manager named Kenn, rebuts a negative review from an "Anonymous Reviewer." Kenn's response indicates that the anonymous individual applied for a long-term RV site but failed to provide sufficient information on the application to verify income, credit history, or references. Kenn states that the rental was contingent on a credit-worthy application and that the site was never promised without review. He also advises the anonymous reviewer to be more responsive and provide more complete information in future applications.
The negative review from the "Anonymous Reviewer" paints a starkly different picture. This reviewer accuses Kenn of being "money hungry" and alleges that Kenn spent weeks discussing a long-term rental, had the reviewer apply, confirmed a move-in date, and then rented the site to someone else without notice. The reviewer labels Kenn an "absolute scumbag" and advises others to "Avoid at all costs," expressing a complete lack of trust.
These two reviews, while not directly commenting on the physical environment, services, or features of Forest View Hideaway as an RV park for short-term campers, raise significant concerns about the management practices and communication style of the owner. Prospective guests should be aware of these conflicting accounts and consider them when making their decision. It might be prudent to seek further information or clarification regarding the park's policies and management style before booking a stay.
Given the nature of the available feedback, it is challenging to offer any positive promotional information for Forest View Hideaway at this time. The conflicting accounts regarding a rental application process and the strong negative sentiments expressed by one reviewer warrant careful consideration by potential visitors. While the park's name and location in Waynesville suggest a potentially pleasant natural setting, the management and communication aspects appear to be areas that require further scrutiny.
For local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Waynesville, Forest View Hideaway is an option to consider. However, due to the serious allegations raised in the customer reviews regarding management practices, it is strongly recommended that prospective guests contact the park directly at (828) 558-1569 or +1 828-558-1569 to ask detailed questions about their policies, procedures, and the overall guest experience. Seeking additional feedback from other sources, if available, might also be beneficial in forming a well-rounded opinion before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Forest View Hideaway in Waynesville, NC, is an RV park located in a potentially scenic area. However, the limited online feedback consists of conflicting accounts regarding a rental application process and serious negative allegations against the management. Prospective visitors should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence by contacting the park directly and seeking additional information before considering a stay at Forest View Hideaway. While the natural environment may be appealing, the concerns raised in the reviews regarding management practices cannot be ignored and should factor into any decision-making process for those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Waynesville.

Forest View Hideaway Reviews
I am Kenn, so please disregard the star rating as I'd like to rebut the previous negative review.Anonymous Reviewer and I did have discussions for about 2 weeks in regards to him renting an RV site from me. I sent him an application to rent and had a difficult time getting it back from him. When he finally submitted it, there was absolutely no information provided to confirm his income, credit history or personal references. He left those lines blank. His renting from me was dependent on a credit worthy application. I never promised him the site without reviewing his application. I get lots of applicants for a small amount of sites all the time.I informed Anonymous that next time he needs to be more responsive to what is being asked of him and to provide way more information on applications to be more competitive against other applicants.
Sep 28, 2022 · Kenn Jacobine Lisa KirkpatrickSince he doesn't have a page for his other park "Dogwood Meadow" , I will give a review for this one.Kenn is a money hungry guy. He spent weeks talking to me about renting a long term space at one of his lots, had me apply, told me the date worked and everything, then rented it to someone out from under me.Absolute scumbag. I wouldn't trust him with a penny - much less rent from him. Avoid at all costs.
