Gantts Mobile Home Community Introduce
For local residents in the Martinsburg, West Virginia area who are searching for "RV parks near me," Gantts Mobile Home Community, located at 360 Janesa Dr, Martinsburg, WV 25403, USA, presents a residential setting that may potentially accommodate recreational vehicles, particularly for those seeking longer-term stays. It is important to note that Gantts Mobile Home Community is primarily designed for mobile homes, and while it might offer spaces for RVs, the environment, services, and features will likely be more oriented towards the needs of permanent or long-term residents. To provide local users with a detailed and objective introduction, we will consider the potential aspects relevant to RVers based on the available information, including resident reviews which offer insights into the community.
The environment surrounding Gantts Mobile Home Community in Martinsburg, WV, is likely influenced by the general characteristics of the area. Martinsburg is situated in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, known for its proximity to the Blue Ridge Mountains and its mix of suburban and rural settings. Residents and potentially RV guests at Gantts Mobile Home Community can probably expect a location that offers relatively easy access to local amenities and services within Martinsburg. The immediate environment within the community itself would typically consist of individual lots designed for mobile homes, roadways, and possibly some common areas or green spaces. The density of homes and the overall upkeep of the community's infrastructure and landscaping would contribute to the overall ambiance. Local users familiar with Martinsburg will have a general understanding of the area's accessibility and surrounding landscape.
Given that Gantts Mobile Home Community is primarily a residential park for mobile homes, the services offered are likely tailored to the needs of long-term residents. These generally include essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity connections at each lot. Waste management services and maintenance of the community's roads are also typical. Based on the resident reviews, there are some concerns regarding the responsiveness of the landlord to maintenance requests, with one long-term resident of eight years stating that the landlord "would barely to any come and fix anything always with an excuse." This suggests that while basic utilities might be provided, the level and timeliness of other maintenance services could be a point of concern for potential residents, including RVers considering a longer stay. It is unclear from the reviews whether amenities such as laundry facilities, community rooms, or recreational areas are available within Gantts Mobile Home Community. For RVers accustomed to dedicated RV parks with specific amenities like dump stations or Wi-Fi, it is crucial to inquire directly about the availability and quality of services at Gantts Mobile Home Community.
The features of Gantts Mobile Home Community, as indicated by the resident reviews, present a mixed picture. One significant development mentioned is that the land has been "recently sold," which has already resulted in a substantial rent increase for mobile home residents, from $600 to $900 per month. This change in ownership and the subsequent rent hike could potentially impact future policies and rates for any RV spaces that might be available. Another feature highlighted by a former resident who lived there for about a year is the occurrence of certain maintenance issues, including "sewer smells" and "vents collapsing under the trailer." Additionally, this reviewer mentioned an incident of vehicle vandalism by a "random person" who was never caught, raising potential concerns about security within the community. While these issues were enough for the reviewer to initially rate the community four stars, a "very rude and sudden eviction" led to a significant reduction in their overall rating. This experience underscores the importance of understanding the community's management practices and resident relations. The primary feature of Gantts Mobile Home Community appears to be its function as a long-term residential area for mobile homes, and any accommodation for RVs would likely be secondary to this core purpose.

Understanding the terms of any potential agreement and the expectations for residents, including RVers, is crucial before making a decision. The recent change in ownership and the significant rent increase for mobile home residents suggest that the community is undergoing changes, which could also affect RV parking options and rates.

Gantts Mobile Home Community Reviews
Been living here for 8 years the landlord would barely to any come and fix anything always with an excuse recently sold the land so rent is going up from $600 a month to $900
Apr 06, 2025 · JDawgs XDI lived here for a year or so. While I would say it's fine to live here, I encountered some problems here, such as sewer smells, vents collapsing under the trailer, and a random person vandalizing a vehicle in the driveway who was never caught. While I would rate Gantts four stars for the above reasons, I'm rating it two stars because of the very rude and sudden eviction that I got, saying to leave within a single day or get caught. That was uncalled for, so that's the big reason for this being only two stars. Stay here if you want, but keep in mind the problems your trailer may have.
Feb 13, 2020 · Xane Myers (X-Man)Nice place. Pretty clean. My sister in law lives there.
Dec 30, 2023 · Melissa ClaxtonDecent community, better than most trailer parks in the area. Whenever you see kids playing, and their parents are watching from the porch, it's okay.
Aug 04, 2019 · Brian SmithIt's a nice calm neighborhood that includes a basketball court and a big field for children to play in. Also, it's great for going on walks.
