Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park Introduce
Located at 1806 E Webster Rd in Flint, Michigan, Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park presents a residential area primarily for mobile homes, but it may also offer possibilities for those searching for "rv parks near me" in the Flint vicinity. Individuals seeking longer-term stays or specific amenities sometimes found in mobile home parks that also accommodate RVs might consider this location. However, it is crucial to note the contrasting perspectives presented in the available reviews, which paint a complex picture of the park's current state.
One detailed review describes Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park in extremely negative terms. The visitor, who was initially there to drop off an item to a resident, expressed significant concern over the apparent state of disrepair and abandonment within the park. They reported that "almost every home in this park is long abandoned," estimating that some have been vacant for decades. The reviewer described the park as "rundown, filthy, oldest, dilapidated, litter filled," and expressed amazement that people are still permitted to live there. This paints a picture of a potentially neglected environment, which might be a serious consideration for anyone looking at "rv parks near me" and prioritizing a clean and well-maintained setting.
The reviewer's heartfelt concern for a young family residing in the park highlights the potential presence of long-term residents facing challenging living conditions. While this speaks to the human element within the community, it also underscores the severity of the environmental issues perceived by the visitor. The offer to assist in a cleanup effort further emphasizes the reviewer's negative assessment of the park's physical condition.
In stark contrast to this deeply critical account, another review offers a positive perspective, stating, "Absolutely one of Flint's top communities! New management is super friendly and helped me all the way. A big thumbs up for a recommendation!!" This brief but enthusiastic comment suggests that recent changes, possibly in management, may have led to improvements or a more positive experience for some individuals. This highlights the importance of considering the timeframe of reviews and the potential for changes within a community.
Given these widely differing opinions, local users searching for "rv parks near me" who might be considering Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park should exercise caution and seek further information. The significant concerns raised in the more detailed review regarding the park's physical condition cannot be ignored. Potential RV residents would likely want to assess the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the park before committing to a stay, especially a long-term one.
To gain a clearer understanding of the current situation at Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park, it is strongly recommended to contact the management directly at (855) 473-8182 or +1 855-473-8182. Inquiries should focus on the availability of RV spaces, the types of hookups provided (water, electricity, sewer), the length of stay permitted for RVs, the cost of accommodation, and the current condition and maintenance of the park's grounds and facilities. Asking about recent changes in management and any ongoing efforts to address the issues raised in the negative review would also be prudent.
For those specifically searching for "rv parks near me," it is essential to determine if Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park offers amenities and services typically expected by RV travelers, such as laundry facilities, waste disposal areas designed for RVs, and potentially communal spaces. The focus of a mobile home park is often on long-term residential living, which may differ from the needs of short-term or even long-term RV residents who are accustomed to specific park features.
The location of Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park at 1806 E Webster Rd in Flint places it within the city limits, offering access to urban amenities. However, the surrounding environment and the park's internal conditions, as described in the critical review, might outweigh the convenience of the location for some RVers. Local users familiar with Flint may have additional context regarding the area that could influence their decision.
In conclusion, Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While one reviewer offers a positive recent experience with new management, another provides a deeply concerning account of significant disrepair and neglect within the park. For local users searching for "rv parks near me," Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park warrants careful investigation. Direct contact with the management is crucial to ascertain the current conditions, the availability and suitability of RV accommodations, and to determine if the park meets the standards expected for a comfortable and safe RV living experience. The stark contrast in reviews suggests that prospective residents should conduct their own due diligence before making any decisions.

Genesee Forest Mobile Home Park Reviews
I felt incredibly sad and hurt by the fact that I couldn't help the super nice people I met that live here in this place. Initially I came here to drop off a PC product I was selling to the younger gentleman who purchased it from me. Since the initial visit, I have returned to drop off a few more things that I had recently retired and wanted to give them to the same guy, so I took another quick drive around this place because I was in complete disbelief that a few more families were living in this park. Almost every home in this park is long abandoned. If I had to guess, I'd say some of them have been sitting in there empty since the 70s or 80s. I think about this young family I met here that's trying their very best to make ends meet and are raising babies here. I wish so bad I could buy another home for myself and give them the keys to my current home and get them out of this place. I have always sworn that since I was able to purchase my home cash, if I ever was able to move out and was able to get a home loan for a new home, without having to sell my current one, I would give my home and everything in it to a family in need. I know now who that family would be if that day ever comes. The point I'm trying to get to is that this is honestly probably the most rundown, filthy, oldest, dilapidated, litter filled park I have ever seen in my entire life, and my wife and I were in utter amazement that people are even allowed to occupy the premises. If any place needs to be investigated for the living conditions, it is this place I promise. I don't just say things to be mean or complain either. If there is ever a cleanup effort made at this place, please believe you can count me in for helping! I would help clean up this place anytime to help the families that live here ensure they have a safe and clean environment to raise their families in. God bless everyone that is stuck in here right now. Keep your head up and stay strong. One way or another, your living conditions will improve in the near future I have a feeling!
