Its strategic location just off Interstate 75 further enhances its appeal for those on the road.
One of the most frequently lauded aspects of Georgia Peanut RV Park is its exceptional cleanliness and meticulous maintenance. Multiple reviewers have highlighted the park's pristine condition, with one seasoned traveler even stating it is "one of the cleanest campgrounds that I've ever stopped at" in their extensive travels across the United States. This emphasis on cleanliness contributes significantly to a comfortable and enjoyable stay, addressing a key concern for many when choosing from "RV parks near me."
Accessibility is another major advantage of Georgia Peanut RV Park. Its convenient location "just off of I-75" makes it an effortless stop for those traveling along this major north-south corridor. Moreover, the park is described as "big rig friendly," ensuring that even those with larger RVs and tow vehicles can navigate and park with ease. The spots themselves are noted to be "all very long and easy to get to," eliminating the stress often associated with maneuvering large vehicles in tight spaces. This ease of access is a significant benefit for weary travelers looking for a hassle-free overnight or longer stay at an "RV park near me."
Georgia Peanut RV Park also embraces modern convenience with its self-check-in online system. This allows for a streamlined arrival process, particularly beneficial for late arrivals or those who prefer a contactless experience. Furthermore, the park offers provided WiFi internet that has impressed guests with its speed and reliability. One reviewer specifically mentioned being able to "stream tv" on the WiFi, with both Netflix and YouTube TV working perfectly. In an age where connectivity is crucial, this feature sets Georgia Peanut RV Park apart from many other "RV parks near me" that may offer slower or less reliable internet access.
The hospitality at Georgia Peanut RV Park extends beyond just the facilities. Guests consistently praise the "super friendly staff at the store." Adding a unique touch, the park provides a "$10 store credit with no minimum purchase" upon arrival. Its ease of access from the highway, combined with its clean facilities and friendly service, makes it a perfect choice for a restful night's sleep. As an added bonus, the park features a "roadside attraction with the peanut!" This refers to a large peanut statue, a nod to Georgia's significant peanut industry, providing a fun photo opportunity and a memorable landmark for visitors. While one reviewer humorously noted the potential for roadside noise due to the proximity to the highway, they also acknowledged that this convenience is the very reason many choose to stop there and that it personally did not bother them.
One minor issue mentioned by a reviewer was a "rut in the road" in the last row from the store. While this was a specific observation, the reviewer also noted that they were able to navigate around it, and it did not detract significantly from their overall positive experience. This feedback is valuable for the park management to address potential maintenance needs while still highlighting the generally well-maintained condition of the grounds.

Very clean, well maintained, and easily accessible campground.Just off of 1-75, big rig friendly, great rate. Spots are all very long and easy to get to. Self check in online. l've never been to a campground that I could stream tv on the provided wifi internet-before now! Netflix and YouTube TV worked perfectly.Super friendly staff at the store and they give you a $10 store credit with no minimum purchase. If you'd like an overnight, this is perfect. Bonus roadside attraction with the peanut! Also, I hope people don't complain about roadside noise, you stop here because it's just off the highway for convenience; doesn't bother me at all. This is one of the cleanest campgrounds that I've ever stopped at and we've traveled Grand Canyon to the UP to Maine and FL.
Apr 23, 2025 · Christy ShetlerGood rv park for a night or two. Carroll's Sausage is a good store with lots of food and decor. The only issue we had was the last row from the store has a rut in the road. We backed out so we would not get our trailer tires in the rut. Don't forget to get a selfie with the huge peanut! 😄
May 04, 2025 · Gina BlaesConvenient for an overnight off of 75. Clean, large pull thru sites. Registration online and no need to go inside when you arrive. WiFi works well. $10 coupon for the sausage store where there are delicious biscuits. Big peanut is fun. Road noise as expected being next to the freeway but wasn’t too bad during the night
Apr 24, 2025 · leslieWe stayed for 2 nights on our way back from Florida. Nice campground for big rigs. Very easy to book on Campspot. Only 45.00 a night for full hookups. Carroll's Sausage store is really nice. You get a ten dollar coupon to spend at the store when staying at the campground.
Mar 23, 2025 · Debbie ChriestGeorgia Peanut RV Park is our favorite place to stop for a night or two. Carroll's Sausage is next door which is perfect for picking up some of the best steaks and pork chops for a night of grilling at the campsite.
