It is crucial to note that the recent customer reviews for Glen Ellen Mobile Home Park paint a significantly negative picture regarding the management and the overall community environment. Potential residents should carefully consider the serious concerns raised by these reviews.
One reviewer describes Glen Ellen as a "terrible place," directly citing the management as a problem. This individual also alleges that a few residents within the park exert undue influence over others. Furthermore, they claim a lack of organized and posted activities in common areas, which they state is contrary to legal requirements. A particularly concerning allegation is that the park is advertised as an age-restricted community, yet children reside there, with the management reportedly aware of this discrepancy.
The same reviewer strongly advises potential residents to "stay away," suggesting that while the rent might appear cheap, the management and a specific group of residents, identified as the HOA, will negatively impact their living experience and attempt to control their lives.
Another former resident, who lived in Glen Ellen for over five years, echoes the severe criticism of the management, specifically naming Penny and Amanda as "the worst people to deal with." This reviewer alleges threats and lies from the management and claims they acted as if they owned the residents' homes. Their experience was so negative that they felt compelled to leave to avoid a potentially volatile situation. They also express a lack of assistance from the police in addressing these issues and offer a somber message of hope for the remaining residents.
Considering these reviews, the environment of Glen Ellen Mobile Home Park is portrayed as highly problematic. Residents describe a dictatorial management style and a community where certain individuals attempt to control others. The alleged failure to adhere to age restrictions, despite advertising as such, is a significant concern. The lack of organized activities, as claimed by one reviewer, further suggests a poorly managed community environment that does not prioritize resident engagement or potentially legal obligations.
Regarding services and features, the extremely negative nature of the reviews overshadows any potential positive aspects. The only features mentioned, albeit negatively, are the management and the presence of an HOA that is also described as problematic. The alleged lack of activities suggests a deficiency in community services that are often expected in mobile home parks, particularly those marketed towards specific age groups.
The reviews do not provide any information about standard amenities that might be expected in a mobile home park, such as:
- Types of mobile home lots available (size, hookups: water, sewer, electric).
- Laundry facilities.
- Restroom and shower facilities (if applicable).
- Wi-Fi availability.
- Community areas or recreational facilities (e.g., pool, clubhouse).
- Park rules and regulations (beyond the alleged issues with age restrictions and HOA control).
- Pet policies.
- Maintenance of common areas.
- Security measures.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback, there is no mention of any promotional information or positive features that might attract potential residents. The strong warnings from former residents should be taken very seriously by anyone considering moving to Glen Ellen Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, the available customer reviews for Glen Ellen Mobile Home Park in Clearwater, FL, raise significant red flags regarding the management and the overall living environment. Allegations of rude and controlling management, undue influence from certain residents (purportedly the HOA), failure to adhere to advertised age restrictions, and a lack of organized activities paint a concerning picture. Potential residents searching for "rv parks near me" who might be considering a mobile home community in this area are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and seek alternative options based on the serious issues highlighted in these reviews. Conducting thorough independent research and seeking firsthand accounts from current residents (if possible and safe) would be crucial before considering Glen Ellen as a place to live.

Glen Ellen Reviews
Terrible place. Management is a problem. A few people who live there think they run everyone and everything. No activities are planned and posted in common areas like the law state. Plus advertising as an age restricted community but kids live in the park, and Management knows this.Stay away, may be cheap rent, but the Management will run your life and so will a certain group of people known as the HOA.
Mar 24, 2024 · TNT “Dynamite”Lived there over 5 years penny and Amanda the managers are the worst people to deal with. Threats, lies, think they own your home. I was able to leave before I did something stupid. Police were no help. God watch over the rest of you.
