Golfway Pines, Inc. Introduce
Welcome to Golfway Pines, Inc., a mobile home community located at 448 Sand Trap Cir in Painesville, Ohio. For individuals exploring residential options in the Painesville area, and those who may find Golfway Pines, Inc. listed under the category of "RV parks near me," this introduction aims to provide a detailed overview based on available customer reviews. Golfway Pines, Inc. operates under a Homeowners Association (HOA) structure, which influences various aspects of living within the community.
One reviewer expresses significant concerns and advises potential residents to consider their decision carefully. This feedback highlights several key points regarding the financial and regulatory aspects of living in Golfway Pines, Inc. The reviewer notes that while residents pay a lot fee or HOA fee, they are still responsible for individual lawn care and snow removal. Additionally, residents are reportedly required to use a specific trash and recycling company, which is described as "the most expensive." A particularly noteworthy concern raised is the payment of property taxes on land that is not owned by the resident, which the reviewer found unfavorable compared to other housing options like renting an apartment for their parents.
The same review also points out the existence of community rules and regulations, stating that residents are told "how you can have your yard and what and who you can have in your home." This suggests a degree of control over individual property appearance and occupancy within the community. While Golfway Pines, Inc. is not explicitly a 55 and older community, the reviewer mentions that the management "do what they can to make it that way," implying an effort to cater to a more mature demographic. This is further illustrated by a rule that technically disallowed children from riding bikes, although this rule reportedly did not last due to elderly residents using three-wheeled bikes.
Despite these concerns, the reviewer acknowledges a significant positive aspect of living in Golfway Pines, Inc.: safety. They note that the community has "busy bodies" (neighbors who are observant), which contributes to the overall safety and security of the residents. This suggests a close-knit community where neighbors look out for one another, which can be a valuable benefit for many.
In contrast to the first review, a second reviewer offers a more positive perspective, describing Golfway Pines, Inc. as an "Excellent place to live." This reviewer highlights that "everyone maintains their property," indicating a community where residents take pride in their homes and surroundings. They also mention that the "Hoa comes Into play as well," suggesting that the HOA rules contribute to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the community.
A third reviewer focuses on the location advantages of Golfway Pines, Inc., noting that it is "Close to the lake, freeway, and some good restaurants." This proximity to local amenities and transportation links can be a significant benefit for residents, offering convenience and access to recreational opportunities, travel routes, and dining options in the Painesville area.

The mixed feedback from residents indicates that while Golfway Pines, Inc. offers certain benefits such as a well-maintained environment (as per one reviewer) and a sense of safety, there are also potential drawbacks related to costs and community regulations that prospective residents should carefully consider. The HOA structure plays a significant role in the living experience, with both positive (maintenance standards) and potentially negative (restrictions, additional costs) aspects.
No specific promotional offers are mentioned in the provided information. However, the proximity to local amenities like the lake, freeway, and restaurants could be considered an indirect benefit for those who value these conveniences.
In the context of "RV parks near me," individuals seeking a temporary or long-term RV stay should weigh the reported benefits of community maintenance and safety against the potential drawbacks of HOA regulations and mandatory service providers. Direct communication with the management is crucial to understand how these factors might apply to RV residents and to ascertain the availability and suitability of RV sites.
In conclusion, Golfway Pines, Inc. in Painesville, OH, is a mobile home community with an HOA structure that offers a well-maintained environment and a sense of safety. You pay lot fee/HOA but you are responsible for lawn care, snow removal you have to go through the same trash and recycling co which happens to be the most expensive. Then you pay property taxes on land that’s not yours. They tell you how you can have your yard and what and who you can have in your home. Cheaper to find parents an apartment that they don’t have all these worries. It’s not 55 and older but they do what they can to make it that way. Children technically aren’t allowed to ride bikes but that didn’t last long due to the elderly riding their 3 wheeled bikes. The plus living here is safety. Those busy bodies come in handy for your safety!Wish we thought this through better.

Apr 21, 2025 · OMNIPRESENTMy mother lives here. The lots are taken care of (by you) do there are no "that place". The community center is extremely nice. Just get their early because it fills out fast. At night you can hear the race track. But it is far enough away. You have close access to the highway with out seeing it or hearing it. Overall a nice little retirement place.
Apr 21, 2019 · pat hughesI have family that live there. and we like it.! :). The only thing that I have heard alot about is where the driveway meets the road.. That hump at the end of the driveway could be smaller, or made into a slope to where its flat all the way from the garage to the street. It will make it easier for the people who need to use their mobility scooters, and it will help out the people that have cars that sit low to the ground **(WITHOUT BODY MODIFICATIONS)**Overall it is a nice friendly and clean place.! GREAT WORK TO ALL WHO HAVE MADE IT HOW IT IS TODAY.!
