Grandview Mobile Home Park Introduce
Grandview Mobile Home Park, located at 26916 OR-36, Cheshire, OR 97419, USA, is a residential mobile home park catering to permanent residents seeking long-term living arrangements. It's important to note upfront that Grandview Mobile Home Park is not a campground and does not offer camping spots or public restrooms. This community is specifically designed for individuals and families who own older mobile or manufactured homes and pay a monthly space rent to reside there.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is crucial to understand that Grandview Mobile Home Park does not fall under this category. It does not provide the typical amenities or services associated with recreational vehicle parks, such as short-term stays, individual hookup sites for RVs, or communal facilities like restrooms and showers for transient guests. Instead, it functions as a permanent residential community.
Despite not being an RV park, Grandview Mobile Home Park does offer a unique living experience for its permanent residents. One of the significant advantages highlighted by a resident is the "beautiful views of hills and sunsets." The location in Cheshire, Oregon, suggests a more rural setting, potentially providing a peaceful and scenic environment for those who appreciate natural beauty.
However, it is essential to consider some critical feedback from residents regarding the park's infrastructure. According to one review, while the location is considered a "very nice place to live," there have been ongoing issues with the water system. The review mentions an "old well that does not provide water that can be drank or used to cook with." This is a significant concern for the health and well-being of the residents.
Furthermore, the review details instances of the "old water system" causing water to be shut off for extended periods, sometimes lasting "several days or more." These outages have resulted in residents being unable to perform basic daily activities such as showering and flushing toilets. In one instance, family members of the reviewer had to incur the expense of renting a motel room due to the lack of water. Most recently, residents had to temporarily relocate due to the continued water issues, with an uncertain timeline for when the water supply will be restored.
Another point raised by a long-term resident is the increasing space rent without corresponding improvements to the park's infrastructure. The comment "Space rent keeps going up, but no improvements" suggests a potential disconnect between the cost of living in the park and the quality of the facilities, particularly the aging water system.
Given these reviews, prospective residents should be aware of the potential challenges associated with the water supply at Grandview Mobile Home Park. While the scenic views and the sense of community among permanent residents might be appealing, the reliability and quality of essential utilities appear to be a significant concern that needs careful consideration.
For local users specifically searching for "RV parks near me" for temporary accommodation or recreational stays, Grandview Mobile Home Park is not a suitable option. The park's focus is solely on providing long-term residency for owners of mobile or manufactured homes. Individuals seeking short-term camping or RV facilities should look for parks that explicitly advertise these services and offer the necessary amenities.
If you are interested in long-term residency at Grandview Mobile Home Park despite the reported water issues and increasing space rent, you can contact the park management at (541) 340-4041 or +1 541-340-4041. It is highly recommended to inquire in detail about the current status of the water system, any ongoing or planned improvements, and the terms of the space rental agreement. Visiting the park in person may also provide valuable insights into the community and the condition of the infrastructure.
In summary, Grandview Mobile Home Park in Cheshire, Oregon, offers long-term residential living in a location with "beautiful views of hills and sunsets." However, potential residents should be aware of the reported issues with the aging water system, including instances of water being undrinkable and prolonged service outages. The increasing space rent without apparent infrastructure improvements is another factor to consider. For those specifically looking for "RV parks near me" for short-term stays, Grandview Mobile Home Park does not offer these services.

Grandview Mobile Home Park Reviews
This is a residential mobile home park. There are no camping spots or public restrooms. It is for permanent residents in older mobile or manufactured homes. People pay monthly space rent and live there. It is not a campground. Very nice place to live though. Beautiful views of hills and sunsets.
Oct 08, 2024 · Nancy WriterFamily members have lived there for many years. Space rent keeps going up, but no improvements. It still has the same crummy old well that does not provide water that can be drank or used to cook with. There have also been issues with the old water system that caused water to be shut off for several days or more. No one could shower, flush toilets, etc. One of those times, my family members had to rent a motel room for those days. Most recently they have had to come stay with me an hour away, and don't know how soon they will have water again and be able to return home.
Jan 01, 2023 · Michelle JonesThis is a beautiful park. There was hope that our daughter and son-in-law would be purchasing a home there. Though he is 3 years shy of 55, he is blind and they have no children, so they believed they would be allowed in after speaking with the manager about their circumstances. However, nearing the time to close the deal, they were turned away. Very sad. I’m sure they would have loved living there.
Jul 11, 2020 · Melvin AmundsonNice. Well kept 55 plus mobile home park. Friendly tenants. A bit pricey on the space rent.
Oct 11, 2020 · Tim JohnsonI have family who live here. The ownership of the property is unresponsive and always does things on the cheap. They don't seem to care about the needs of the tenants.
