Scandia Village Introduce
Scandia Village is a mobile home park located at 1225 W 10th Ave in Junction City, Oregon. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is important to understand that Scandia Village is a residential community designed for long-term residents who own or rent mobile or manufactured homes within the park. It does not appear to offer temporary accommodations or amenities typically associated with RV parks catering to short-term travelers.
The provided information about Scandia Village primarily consists of two customer reviews, one of which raises a very serious allegation. This review details a deeply concerning experience reported by an individual who was engaged to a resident of Scandia Village. According to this account, the individual faced what they perceived as discriminatory treatment based on their ethnic background. The reviewer states that despite having a close relationship with a resident and her elderly mother, and despite being a registered voter in Oregon with a good job and a scholarship for higher education, they were allegedly informed by management that they were not allowed to visit their wife or her mother.
Furthermore, the reviewer recounts a neighbor allegedly stating that a person of their ethnic background had never lived in Scandia Village since its establishment. As a result of these experiences, the reviewer indicates that they have been in contact with the NAACP and have a racial discrimination lawsuit in progress. This is a significant and serious claim that warrants careful consideration.
It is crucial to recognize that this review presents only one side of the story, and these are allegations that are part of an ongoing legal process. However, for any prospective residents or visitors, this account raises serious concerns about the community environment and management practices at Scandia Village. It suggests a potentially unwelcoming or discriminatory atmosphere for individuals from certain ethnic backgrounds.
The second review provided simply states, "I've never been there," offering no substantive information about the park itself. Therefore, the primary insight into Scandia Village from the available data comes from the first, highly concerning review.
Given the nature of the allegations in the first review, it is impossible to provide a positive or neutral description of the community environment without potentially overlooking serious issues raised by a firsthand account. While the park is located in Junction City, Oregon, and offers long-term residency in mobile homes, the alleged discriminatory practices overshadow any potential benefits or features that might typically be highlighted in an introduction.
Information regarding specific services, features, and any promotional offers at Scandia Village is entirely absent from the provided data. Typically, a mobile home park would offer basic infrastructure such as space for homes, utility hookups (water, electricity, sewage), and possibly waste management services. Some parks may also have common areas or community facilities. However, without any positive or descriptive reviews, and with a significant negative allegation present, it is difficult to ascertain what Scandia Village offers beyond its basic function as a location for mobile homes.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" for short-term stays, Scandia Village is unlikely to be a relevant option as it functions as a permanent residential community. The concerns raised in the review might also deter individuals looking for a welcoming and inclusive long-term living environment, regardless of whether they are considering a mobile home park or comparing it to other residential options found through searches for "RV parks near me" (in the sense of exploring community living).
Prospective residents who might still consider Scandia Village due to its location or other factors should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This would include attempting to contact the park management to understand their perspective on the allegations and to inquire about their policies on diversity and inclusion. It would also be beneficial to speak with current residents (if possible) to get a broader range of experiences and perspectives on living in the community.
In conclusion, the limited information available about Scandia Village at 1225 W 10th Ave, Junction City, OR, is dominated by a serious allegation of racial discrimination. While it is a mobile home park offering long-term residency, this allegation raises significant concerns about the community environment and management practices. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" for temporary stays should look elsewhere. Those considering long-term residency at Scandia Village should proceed with extreme caution and seek to gather comprehensive information about the community's atmosphere and policies before making any decisions. The absence of any positive or neutral descriptions further underscores the need for thorough investigation by any potential future residents.

Scandia Village Reviews
I was engaged to the most beautiful women inside and out. We planned a wedding and it was so beautiful. Some of the tennents that lived their always gave me evil looks, but i continued being the best I could be. Management informed me I couldnt come see my wife or her 80 year old mother. My neighbor told me a person of my ethnic background never lived there since it was established. I have been in contact with the NAACP and have a Racial discrimination suit in progress. I have a very good job, im a registered voter in Oregon, I have a full scholarship at Grand Canyon University. Psychology major. I cant live with my wife because of my ethnic background. I won't let people like those at scandia village dictake my path. My story will never be untold. Justice will be served.
