Great Oak RV Resort Introduce
Great Oak RV Resort is an RV park situated at 4440 Yowell Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746, USA. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Kissimmee, Florida area, this park is a potential option. The park can be reached via phone at (407) 396-9092 or mobile at +1 407-396-9092.
When considering the environment of Great Oak RV Resort, it's important to rely on various perspectives. Based on customer reviews, the experience of the park's environment can be significantly influenced by interactions with management and other residents. While there isn't information detailing the physical aesthetics of the park, such as landscaping or specific layout, the emphasis in reviews is heavily placed on the social and managerial atmosphere. One review describes the overall atmosphere as "very low class management and place to live," and notes "nasty people" and a lack of support for residents experiencing harassment. This suggests a potentially contentious environment for some. The mention of "some neighbor like to harass people especially if you are a single person, or being a woman" points to social dynamics that may impact a resident's sense of security and well-being within the park's environment.
In terms of services and features, the primary service offered by Great Oak RV Resort is providing RV sites for rent. One amenity explicitly mentioned in the reviews is a "pool." Beyond the pool, one reviewer states that "they don’t offer any amenities besides the pool," which could be a significant factor for individuals seeking a park with a broader range of facilities or activities. This indicates that while the park provides essential RV hookups, it may have a more limited set of recreational or communal services compared to some other RV resorts. The price of stay is also noted as being "very high" by one reviewer, which, combined with the perceived lack of amenities, might influence a potential resident's assessment of value.
Promotional information for Great Oak RV Resort, based on the provided reviews, would need to address the challenging feedback received. An objective introduction must present both the stated offerings and the reported experiences. While a park typically promotes its location and available features, the dominant themes in the customer reviews revolve around management conduct and community atmosphere, rather than standard amenities. The park's management and staff interactions are a major point of contention. One detailed review recounts an unsettling initial encounter with the front desk woman, Carol, who allegedly made an unprovoked and judgmental comment upon the reviewer's arrival, setting a negative tone. This review further describes a situation where Carol allegedly slandered the reviewer's professional services as an RV technician within the park, spreading misinformation about pricing and attempting to undermine their business. The reviewer states that Carol refused to hear their side of the story and was "rude, unprofessional, and nasty," with co-workers and friends defending her actions. This culminated in an eviction notice, despite the reviewer having already notified them of their planned departure. This narrative suggests significant issues with professionalism, communication, and resident relations at the management level. Another review corroborates this sentiment, describing management and other residents as "nasty people" and expressing concerns about racism and a lack of support for harassment victims.
Given these critical reviews, any promotional material for Great Oak RV Resort would need to carefully consider how to address or mitigate these strong negative perceptions. For potential residents searching for "RV parks near me," this information is crucial for setting realistic expectations. The park's location in Kissimmee might be a draw due to its proximity to popular Florida attractions, but the reported negative experiences regarding management and the social environment could significantly deter prospective tenants. The fact that the park "don’t offer any amenities besides the pool" and that "the charges are very high" also presents a less attractive value proposition for some. Transparency regarding management practices and community expectations would be vital for any future promotional efforts. Prospective individuals are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including potentially visiting the park in person and attempting to speak with current residents, to form their own informed opinion. This step is particularly important given the severity of the issues raised in the provided customer feedback, concerning not only unprofessional behavior but also allegations of harassment and racism, which are grave concerns in any residential community.

Great Oak RV Resort Reviews
My partner and I arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. Before even greeting us, the woman at the front desk—her name is Carol—looked us up and down and immediately said, “Now, we don’t put up with any wild stuff in here!”My fiancé and I were baffled. We looked at each other and then reassured her that we are students and full-time workers who recently moved here. We brushed it off, though in hindsight, we should have turned around and gone somewhere else right then and there.I am a certified RV tech. In the month and a half we’ve been here, I have been fixing and working on people’s RVs at significantly reduced rates compared to my standard pricing. Recently, I worked on someone’s RV, and she wasn’t completely satisfied. This is where the madness with the RV park started. In this line of work, issues are not always fixed on the first attempt, especially when tracing water leaks. However, if I charge someone and the issue persists, I always come back and try to resolve it at no extra charge—because that’s the honest thing to do. All they have to do is let me know.Instead of reaching out to me, this unhappy customer skipped the chain of command and went straight to the front desk, twisting the story to make it seem like I took her money and refused to come back. Now, the front desk lady is telling every single person with RV issues not to go to me because I’m “very expensive.” In reality, I charge $60 less per hour than larger commercial RV shops and $20 less per hour than other local mobile RV techs. On top of that, I’ve been fixing RVs at this park for far less than I normally charge, cutting my own wages to help people. I always make sure my customers know what I should be charging—but at the end of the day, what I charge is none of her business.Yesterday, while I was working on someone’s RV, Carol came strolling up in her golf cart. Thinking I couldn’t hear her because I had my headphones in, she leaned over to the customer and said, “Don’t go to him, he’s charging $$$ an hour.”I could not believe my ears. I finished the job and told the customer not to even worry about paying me because I was going to have a conversation with her.Carol was rude, unprofessional, and nasty. My fiancé and I confronted her and the others involved, making sure they knew how awful their behavior was. There is no reason for a woman in her sixties to behave this way—or for her co-workers and friends to defend her, knowing she was in the wrong. We brought up valid points, and no one had anything to say.The worst part? Carol never even attempted to speak to me about the situation. She didn’t ask for my side of the story—she just immediately started slandering my business and name, getting all her friends to join in.The whole situation is childish, unprofessional, and just plain odd. We had already notified them that we were leaving on the first since we’ve paid rent for the month, and she was still petty enough to stroll up on her golf cart with an eviction notice saying that we had to leave on the first. I kid you not, I cannot make this stuff up.Please pick another park. The people here are nasty and petty.
Mar 22, 2025 · Paul KitnerFor me is a zero is a ver low class management and place to live. They’re very nasty people, they don’t treat people write, racism and management don’t help those that are being harassed. Some neighbor like to harass people especially if you are a single person, or being a woman just be very careful and the charges are very high and another things they don’t offer any amenities besides the pool.
Feb 10, 2025 · Milagro PadillaI am no longer in the park, but I received a phone call just about 30 minutes ago. I was told that the park was sold and everyone in it must get out the Owner or the management is not telling the people that they are waiting till the new owners takes over. I really think that is wrong
Apr 06, 2025 · Gary WillhideDO NOT STAY HERE! Very rude staff and long-term tenants. Listen to the other bad reviews! By far the absolute WORST park I have ever stayed in. So very unprofessional. You have been warned.
