Green Park RV Resort has received positive feedback regarding its cleanliness and the availability of amenities catering to families and pet owners. One reviewer described the RV park as "very clean" and reported having no issues during their stay. This is a significant factor for many travelers when choosing "RV parks near me," as cleanliness contributes greatly to a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
For families traveling with children and pets, Green Park RV Resort offers appealing features. The presence of a designated dog park area allows dogs to run and play freely, while a playground provides a space for children to enjoy themselves. This thoughtful provision of separate areas for both children and pets ensures that all members of the family can have a good time and expend some energy during their stay. This makes Green Park RV Resort a strong consideration for those seeking "RV parks near me" that are truly family and pet-friendly.
The location of Green Park RV Resort is also highlighted as a benefit. Situated "right out of the hustle and bustle of town," it offers a sense of peace and quiet away from the immediate urban activity. However, it remains conveniently "close enough to run in to grab a few items if needed," striking a good balance between tranquility and accessibility to local conveniences. This location is ideal for travelers who appreciate a quieter setting without being too far removed from essential services and amenities in Ponca City.
The staff at Green Park RV Resort are described as "friendly and helpful." This positive interaction with the park's personnel can significantly enhance the overall guest experience, making visitors feel welcome and well-cared for. Additionally, the park offers a practical service by immediately notifying guests upon the arrival of their packages, demonstrating attention to customer convenience and communication.
For those needing laundry facilities, Green Park RV Resort provides four washers and four dryers in their laundry room. A particularly convenient feature is that the park "rolls their own quarters," eliminating the need for guests to find change elsewhere to use the machines. This thoughtful service can save guests time and hassle, making the chore of laundry a bit more manageable during their travels. The presence of adequate laundry facilities is a significant amenity for both short-term and long-term RV stays.
Based on the positive aspects of cleanliness, family and pet-friendly amenities, convenient location, helpful staff, and practical laundry services, one reviewer stated that they "would definitely stay again if back in the area." This strong endorsement suggests a high level of satisfaction with the overall experience at Green Park RV Resort.
However, it is important to present a balanced perspective, as another reviewer reported a negative experience due to a "petroleum smell from the refinery." This guest checked in on March 23, 2024, intending to stay for approximately six months, but checked out after about four days due to this odor. They communicated their early departure and requested a refund, which they reported was processed. The low rating given by this reviewer was solely attributed to the petroleum smell. This feedback indicates a potential environmental factor that could impact the comfort and air quality at the RV park at certain times.
Given this contrasting feedback, it is advisable for potential guests to inquire with the park management about the current air quality and any potential issues with refinery odors, especially if they are sensitive to such smells or planning a longer stay. While one guest experienced this problem, the other did not mention it, suggesting it might be intermittent or localized.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the environment at Green Park RV Resort, prospective guests might want to inquire about the proximity to any industrial facilities, the typical wind direction, and if the park has received any recent feedback regarding air quality. Understanding these factors can help travelers make an informed decision based on their personal sensitivities.
While the reviews highlight several services and features, such as the dog park, playground, laundry facilities, and package notification, typical RV parks also offer essential hookups for water, electricity, and sewage at each site. It is reasonable to assume that Green Park RV Resort provides these basic necessities. To get detailed information about the specific services and the capacity of the hookups, it would be best to contact the park directly.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. To inquire about any discounts for longer stays, seasonal rates, or other special offers, it is recommended to contact the park directly at the provided phone numbers.
For local users and those traveling through Ponca City, Green Park RV Resort offers a clean and conveniently located option when searching for "RV parks near me." The presence of a dog park and playground makes it particularly appealing for families and pet owners. The onsite laundry with the rolled quarters service adds to the convenience. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issue with a petroleum smell from a nearby refinery and consider inquiring about the current air quality before booking, especially for longer stays. Despite this concern, the positive feedback regarding cleanliness, amenities, and helpful staff suggests that Green Park RV Resort can provide a pleasant stay for many travelers.

Green Park RV Resort Reviews
RV park was very clean and we had no issues. The dogs were able to run around in the dog park area while I played with our child on the playground. Location was great for us right out of the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to run in to grab a few items if needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. They notified us immediately when our packages arrived. 4 washers and 4 dryers in the laundry room. They roll their own quarters which is great, so you do not have to go tracking down change to use. We would definitely stay again if back in the area.
Nov 02, 2020 · Megan RieathbaumI checked in on 3/23/2024 and was going to stay there for about 6 months but after about 4 days I started to smell a petroleum smell from the refinery. I messaged the park and let them know I was going to check out and wanted a refund I got a message that it was done. The only reason I am giving this low of s review is due to that petroleum smell.
Apr 06, 2024 · Hightower My JourneyPerfect location for working at the refinery across the street! Nice people and very nice place! We got a covered spot, which was awesome! We also had a nice big grassy area for our dog right beside the camper! Very clean restrooms and laundry room! We have stayed at this park 2 separate times! We would stay again!
Jan 15, 2021 · Breanna LeggettVery friendly people, both employees and tenants. Bathrooms are kept stocked and clean. They love dogs and are very accommodating. They let me stay with my tiny house there and do some simple vehicle maintenance. Really happy with my stay.
Oct 21, 2021 · Alexa StampflI don't even know where to begin! This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The park, the dog park, the shower house and laundry facilities are beautiful and cleaned daily. I have traveled everywhere from Minnesota to Texas and this is by far the best! The management cleans daily and it shows. At 8 am every morning you can see them over there cleaning away. If we ever head back this way for ANYTHING we are going to stay here. Thank yall!
