Harbor Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Redwood City, California area and are considering long-term residency in a mobile home park, Harbor Village Mobile Home Park, located at 3015 E Bayshore Rd #337, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA, is one option that may appear in your search. You can contact them at (650) 366-2471 or +1 650-366-2471 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to consider recent customer feedback regarding this park, which raises significant concerns about its management, rules enforcement, and cost.
One reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction with the changes implemented since a management transition. According to this review, there has been a significant increase in rent, which the reviewer deems "too high." Furthermore, they allege a failure on the part of the new management to enforce the park's rules effectively. A specific issue highlighted is the problem of residents not cleaning up after their pets, resulting in "poop all over the place." This lack of enforcement can significantly impact the cleanliness and overall living environment of the community, potentially creating unsanitary and unpleasant conditions for residents.
The same reviewer goes on to describe the management as "crooked and greedy," which is a serious accusation indicating a severe lack of trust and dissatisfaction with the way the park is being run. Such strong negative language suggests significant issues with transparency, fairness, or responsiveness from the management's side, leading to a highly unfavorable perception among at least one resident.
Another reviewer focuses specifically on the financial aspect of living at Harbor Village Mobile Home Park. They state that the lot rent for a 2-bedroom, 33-year-old mobile home is "$1800," describing this cost as "horrible." This provides a concrete figure indicating a potentially very high monthly expense for residents, especially when considering the age of the mobile home itself. High lot rent can be a major concern for residents, particularly those on a fixed income, and can significantly impact the affordability and overall value proposition of living in the park.
Considering these two reviews, a concerning picture emerges regarding the current state of Harbor Village Mobile Home Park. The issues raised are significant and touch upon fundamental aspects of residential living, including cost, cleanliness, rule enforcement, and the integrity of the management. The combination of high rent and poor management, as alleged by these reviewers, could create a very undesirable living situation for potential residents.
As Harbor Village Mobile Home Park might appear in searches for "RV parks near me," it is important for those seeking long-term mobile home residency to distinguish between parks primarily catering to transient RV stays and those designed for permanent or semi-permanent mobile home living. While some platforms may list both types, the expectations and regulations can differ significantly. In the case of a mobile home park, residents typically pay lot rent and own their homes, making issues like consistent management and fair pricing particularly critical.
The lack of positive reviews or any information about amenities, community features, or the overall environment (beyond the negative comments) makes it difficult to assess any potential benefits of residing at Harbor Village Mobile Home Park. The absence of any promotional information or positive testimonials further underscores the concerns raised in the available feedback.
For individuals exploring mobile home living options in Redwood City, it would be highly advisable to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Harbor Village Mobile Home Park based on the currently available online reviews. This due diligence should include attempting to contact the park management to address the concerns raised in the reviews and to inquire about their response to these issues and any plans for improvement. It would also be beneficial to seek out additional, more recent reviews from other residents to gain a broader and more current understanding of the living conditions and management practices at the park.
Furthermore, prospective residents might consider visiting the park in person (if possible and if allowed) to observe the cleanliness, the adherence to any visible rules, and the general atmosphere of the community. Speaking with current residents directly (if they are willing) could provide invaluable insights into their experiences and whether the issues highlighted in the online reviews are representative of the overall living situation.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in the existing reviews, including "crooked and greedy" management and a failure to enforce basic cleanliness rules, potential residents should proceed with significant caution. The high lot rent mentioned in one review further adds to the financial considerations. It is crucial to weigh these negative factors heavily against any potential benefits of the location or other unmentioned aspects of the park.
In conclusion, the limited online feedback for Harbor Village Mobile Home Park in Redwood City, CA, raises significant red flags for prospective residents. The allegations of high rent increases, ineffective rule enforcement leading to unsanitary conditions, and untrustworthy management should be taken very seriously. Anyone searching for long-term mobile home living in the area should conduct extensive research and seek current, comprehensive information before considering this park as a viable option. Exploring alternative mobile home parks or RV parks in the vicinity may be a prudent course of action until more positive or clarifying information about Harbor Village Mobile Home Park becomes available.

Harbor Village Mobile Home Park Reviews
Since changing management, they have raised rent too high and they do not enforce their park rules. People don’t pick up after their dogs and there is poop all over the place. Management is crooked and greedy.

Jan 21, 2025 · Christopher HoskingA convenient location off the 101 will ease the stress of your commute. 🛣️ If you land in a perimeter lot at the rear of the park, you’ll have the pleasure of an unbeatable view of the Bay! 🌴 Additional community offerings include a swimming pool, billiards room, laundry facilities, and a car wash station. 🏊 To top it all off, the affordable space rent makes Harbor Village that much more desirable!Restrictions allow one pet allowed per household. 🐾 All age community.
Jul 11, 2023 · Alex Chow (Alex Chow Homes)I have lived here for 18 years and feel safe in this community which is proven time and time again to take care of each other and look out for one another. The on-site management team that currently looks over our community ensuring it is safe and peaceful does a wonderful job in doing so always quick to help when asked. I couldn't be more thankful for the home that I own here and the community around me.
