Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in Centralia, Washington, Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park, located at 3312 Harrison Ave, Centralia, WA 98531, USA, presents a location that accommodates both RVs and mobile homes. They can be contacted at (360) 330-2167 or +1 360-330-2167 for inquiries. It is important to note that while the platform category is "RV parks near me," this establishment appears to function as both an RV park and a mobile home park, potentially offering options for both short-term and long-term stays.
The available customer reviews for Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park offer significantly contrasting experiences, painting a complex and somewhat concerning picture for potential residents or visitors. One review is overwhelmingly negative, detailing numerous issues and strongly advising against renting at this location. In stark contrast, another review recounts a positive short-term stay.
The negative review raises serious allegations regarding the park's management, safety, and amenities. The reviewer claims that rent is increased yearly "for no good reason" and describes the owner as "NOT friendly" and prone to gossiping. A significant safety concern is raised with the statement that "This is NOT a safe place" due to frequent transients and theft issues. The reviewer also mentions that the showers have been under construction for over a year, with residents allegedly required to pay an extra $80 per month (recently increased from $30) for access to a single, unspecified shower stall. This is described as excessive given the lack of other amenities. Maintenance is also characterized as "lacking." The reviewer goes so far as to suggest contacting the housing manager at the Salvation Army for an accurate assessment of the park's reputation.
Further safety concerns are detailed, including alleged drug activity occurring late at night at an empty house on the property. The reviewer also points out the presence of two "trashed RVs" that have remained parked for an extended period (over a year for one), despite the owner's claims of their imminent removal. Issues with inappropriate graffiti on the dumpster, trash accumulation, and violations of the pet lease agreement (dogs roaming free, owners not cleaning up after pets, despite a leash requirement and a no-free-roaming cats policy) are also mentioned. The reviewer claims that rent has been illegally increased three times in one year, providing written proof, and that their rent has increased by $50 per month over a 3-4 year period, reaching $800 for an RV space. For this price, the listed amenities are only "2 washers and dryers that smell quite used" (with a usage fee and risk of theft), power, water, sewer hookups, and garbage. The reviewer explicitly states the absence of propane, groceries, or other conveniences and notes that the former rec hall has been converted into a private residence for the property manager. This paints a picture of a park with high costs and limited, poorly maintained amenities, coupled with significant safety and management concerns.
Conversely, the second review describes a positive experience during a one-week stay in August. The reviewer found the people to be "extremely nice and personable" and reported "no issues" during their stay. They express hope for an opening in the spring or summer of 2025, indicating a desire to return. This positive feedback suggests that some visitors may have a pleasant experience at Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park, potentially due to the community aspect or perhaps during shorter stays when some of the long-term issues are less impactful.
Given these drastically different accounts, it is challenging to objectively describe the environment, services, and features of Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park. The negative review suggests an unsafe environment with poor maintenance, limited and costly amenities, and questionable management practices. The positive review, while brief, indicates a friendly community atmosphere for at least some visitors. Information about the specific layout of the park, the size and type of RV and mobile home spaces, and other potential amenities (beyond the mentioned washers, dryers, and hookups) is not provided in these reviews.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Details regarding rental rates for mobile home spaces, specific pricing for RV sites (beyond the $800 mentioned in the negative review), security deposits, lease terms, or any special offers are not included. To obtain this information, interested parties would need to contact Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park directly at (360) 330-2167 or +1 360-330-2167. However, given the serious allegations in the negative review, potential residents or visitors should approach such inquiries with caution and seek clear and verifiable information.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home options in Centralia, Washington, Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park presents a complex scenario. The stark contrast between the two available reviews necessitates careful consideration. The positive review suggests a potentially friendly community, while the negative review raises significant concerns about safety, management, cost, and the condition of amenities. Potential residents or visitors are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence before considering this park. This should include direct communication with the park management to address the issues raised in the negative review, a personal visit to assess the environment and safety firsthand, and potentially seeking feedback from other current residents if possible. The significant allegations of illegal rent increases and unsafe conditions warrant extreme caution.
In conclusion, Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park in Centralia, WA, has received highly contrasting reviews. While one visitor reported a pleasant short-term stay with friendly people, another detailed numerous serious issues related to safety, management, maintenance, and the cost and quality of amenities. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or mobile home living, a thorough investigation and cautious approach are strongly recommended before considering Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park due to the significant concerns raised in one of the available reviews.

Harrison RV/Mobile Home Park Reviews
It is one of the worst places to rent. Rent increased yearly for no good reason. The owner is NOT friendly. She is very quick to talk smack about you behind your back. Watch your back because if she doesn't like you, you will get targeted. This is NOT a safe place. Transients come through here often. There are lots of issues with thefts as well. Showers have been under construction for over a year now, and you have to pay an extra $80 (recently increased from $30 for what??? 1 lousy shower stall) month to use them. Maintenance is lacking. If you want the truth about this place, go talk to the housing manager at Salvation Army. Word gets around quite quickly with other housing resource organizations about shady business practices. There has also been 2 separate occasions where a younger gentleman, (sme one both times) has shown up between 11:35pm and 1:00 am at the empty house the owner used to live at, just to do drug activity. He would show up with friends and sit there for hours. There's 2 trashed RVs still parked in their same locations even though the owner claims they will be removed within a week. It has been over 1 year for one and coming close to a year for the other. Inappropriate graffiti has been displayed on the dumpster more than once. Trash strewn on the ground by the dumpster, dogs roaming free even though according to the PET lease ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH! And cats are not allowed to roam free either, but there are plenty of those around. Dogs are barking often even at night. Owners not picking up after their pets as per lease agreement. Rent has been increased 3 times in 1 year, which is illegal. I have the written proof with the owner's signature. Rent has increased $50 a month since I have been here. That's $260 in a 3-4 year period, so far. This is NOT a low-income RV/Mobile home park. $800 for an RV space is pretty steep for absolutely no amenities beside 2 washers and dryers that smell quite used and of course you pay to use but cannot guarantee your clothes won't get stolen, power hookup, water hookup, sewer hookup, and garbage. No propane, no groceries, or anything else. They already turned the rec hall into a private home for the property manager.
Jul 12, 2023 · J “Smalls” WWe stayed here for a whole week, Aug 8th to Aug 16th. We wanted to be near others for a week in case something happened on the new to us travel trailer. The people were extremely nice and personable. I had no issues. I am hoping there will be a spot open for spring or summer 2025.
Nov 09, 2024 · Phillip ReichWell, actually I feel that it is humorous that I am asked this often, basically every time I go shopping. I have lived here for over two years....
Feb 14, 2025 · Angelynne ChristiansenNot sure why Google has them listed as "accepts RV's of all ages". We can't afford a trade in for ours, a 1985 Winnebago. But we were told upfront over the phone that our RV is too old. Like every other RV park. So, since EVERY place has so far said that, we're screwed, and so is anyone else in our situation.
