Hilbert Acres Introduce
For individuals and families exploring options under the "RV Parks Near Me" category, particularly for long-term or permanent residency in a manufactured home, Hilbert Acres, located at 9, Daniel Dr, Hilbert, WI 54129, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park that warrants detailed consideration. While primarily a mobile home park, such communities often cater to those seeking a stable, affordable living solution, which can appeal to a segment of the RV park demographic looking for more permanent arrangements. This introduction will provide an objective overview of Hilbert Acres, detailing its environment, typical services, features, and crucially, incorporating significant insights from real customer reviews to offer a balanced perspective.
The environment surrounding Hilbert Acres is situated in Hilbert, a village in Calumet County, Wisconsin. This location offers a semi-rural setting, characteristic of many smaller communities in the state. The address on Daniel Drive suggests a residential layout within the village, likely providing a quiet neighborhood feel. Given its Wisconsin location, residents experience all four distinct seasons, from warm summers to cold, snowy winters. The park itself, as a mobile home community, would typically feature a structured layout with individual lots for homes, internal roads, and possibly some common green spaces. The general environment in Hilbert is one of a smaller town, implying a slower pace of life compared to larger urban centers. Residents would have access to local amenities and services within Hilbert, while larger towns and cities in the broader Fox Valley region would be within a reasonable driving distance, offering more extensive shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities. The community's overall aesthetic and upkeep would contribute significantly to the resident experience, and direct observation through a visit would be crucial to assess this aspect.
When it comes to services at Hilbert Acres, like most mobile home parks, the primary service is the provision of lots for manufactured homes, where residents typically own their homes but lease the land. Essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity connections are generally available at each lot, though the method of billing (included in rent or separate) can vary. The listed phone numbers, (920) 871-8004 and +1 920-871-8004, indicate direct communication channels with park management. A key service aspect, as highlighted by a positive customer review, is the role of the park manager. One reviewer specifically praises "Jess," or Jessica Kasper, the new Manager, stating she is "an amazing Manager" who "did everything she could to help me get rental assistance to get back on track" during a difficult time. This suggests that the park, at least under this management, provides a level of tenant support and responsiveness to residential problems, which is a valuable service for residents. However, this positive experience contrasts sharply with other reviews that detail severe issues with past management regarding maintenance and, critically, the alleged withholding of a security deposit. These conflicting accounts underscore the importance of understanding current management practices.
The features of Hilbert Acres, as a mobile home park, are designed to create a community living environment. This typically includes individual home lots where residents can establish their residences, providing a degree of privacy and personal space. The infrastructure would include paved or gravel roads within the park and designated parking spaces for residents. Some mobile home parks may feature communal amenities such as a community clubhouse, laundry facilities, or playgrounds, though specific details for Hilbert Acres are not available beyond general mobile home park characteristics. A significant feature, as revealed by customer feedback, relates to the management's actions. While one review points to proactive and helpful management in assisting a resident with rental assistance, another describes a highly problematic experience. This negative review alleges that after a garage was knocked down, debris (screws, nails, metal pieces, garbage) was left in the driveway and lawn, despite the resident having a dog and small children, requiring the resident to clean it up themselves. Most critically, this reviewer claims that their security deposit of almost $1000.00 was stolen, despite being told the home was "IMMACULATE" upon leaving. They recount repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact management or corporate to retrieve their deposit, alleging that "The company that owns Hilbert Acres should know that they are stealing money from them." These contrasting experiences with management are a crucial feature for anyone considering residing here.
Regarding promotional information, Hilbert Acres, like many mobile home parks, would likely promote itself as an affordable and stable housing option within the "RV Parks Near Me" context for manufactured home owners. Information on available lots, homes for sale or rent within the park, and application procedures would typically be provided by management. However, the available customer reviews present a mixed and critical perspective that would significantly influence any promotional messaging. The positive review highlights "Jessica Kasper the new Manager" as a "great asset to this community," focusing on her helpfulness and support, which could be a strong promotional point for current management. Conversely, the extensive negative review serves as a stark warning. The allegations of leaving hazardous debris, failing to return a substantial security deposit, and unresponsive management ("Mom never answers her cell phone, they’re never in the office per the assistants, I ask them for help but am just promised calls back but no one calls… ever. Same Mom and daughter in charge so they know what happened to my money and why I’m still calling them.") are extremely damaging. This review explicitly states, "The company that owns Hilbert Acres should know that they are stealing money from them, I’m sure I’m not the first or last one they did this to. They should be fired, they are terrible at their jobs when they’re 'working' and could care less about the tenants or their rentals." Such strong accusations of theft and unprofessionalism would heavily impact any prospective resident's decision, making direct and thorough due diligence absolutely essential. Potential residents are strongly advised to visit the park, speak with current residents if possible, and gather concrete information regarding rental agreements, deposit handling, and current management practices to ensure a positive experience.
In conclusion, Hilbert Acres in Hilbert, WI, functions as a mobile home park that may appeal to those seeking long-term living solutions under the broad umbrella of "RV Parks Near Me." Its environment offers a semi-rural community setting. While there is a positive review commending the current manager for providing resident support, there is also a highly critical review detailing serious allegations of property neglect and, most significantly, the alleged theft of a security deposit and a lack of responsiveness from management. These contrasting accounts make it imperative for any prospective resident to conduct comprehensive personal research and direct inquiry to assess the current state of the park's management, maintenance, and resident relations before considering Hilbert Acres as a living option.

Hilbert Acres Reviews
I've Lived here for 4 years now. Jess is an amazing Manager. I fell on a hard time this last December when my mom fell ill. Had to use my income for gas money and ran short on rent. She did everything she could to help me get rental assistance to get back on track! I highly recommend going to Jessica Kasper the new Manager with any residential problems you have. She is a great asset to this community!
Feb 28, 2025 · RugratKnocked down the garage and left it all in my driveway when I started renting. Left screws, nails metal pieces and garbage EVERYWHERE in my driveway and lawn after it was “cleaned up” knowing that I had a dog and small children. Cleaned it up myself after calling and no one coming. On top of the bad start THEY STOLE MY SECURITY DEPOSIT OF ALMOST $1000.00!!!! They told me and other renters that I left the home IMMACULATE. I never damaged anything or gave them a reason to keep the deposit whatsoever. I Never heard from them again! Never sent me the deposit, a letter explaining the deposit, nothing.I have been calling them SINCE 11/2019!!!! They refuse to give me the corporate phone#, Not one of my calls has ever been returned; Mom never answers her cell phone, they’re never in the office per the assistants, I ask them for help but am just promised calls back but no one calls… ever. Same Mom and daughter in charge so they know what happened to my money and why I’m still calling them. Corporate sent my security deposit amount to them so they could in turn write a check to me but they kept the money instead. The company that owns Hilbert Acres should know that they are stealing money from them, I’m sure I’m not the first or last one they did this to. They should be fired, they are terrible at their jobs when they’re “working” and could care less about the tenants or their rentals. Should have reported them, probably could’ve saved a lot of other people from getting their money stolen as well! It’s never too late…
Feb 23, 2023 · Harper BlohowiakSo I visited this place because I was interested in looking at a mobile home. In my opinion a poorly designed park. Every single road in the park led to a dead end. Most parks I've seen the roads don't suddenly end. Most of the trailers are very very run down. I would not feel comfortably safe here. Just my opinion. I wanted to like it, but it had too many issues.
Aug 11, 2020 · 3 Big CatsVery rude and snotty. We drove out 3 times and the little girl who runs the place decided not to drive to work those days. Looks like a meth lab in every trailer...stay away
Apr 18, 2024 · Alan DekkerVery unprofessional & the manager takes forever to get a response from. Also they used a criminal charge from over 20 years . I have payed my dues for these charges. Also the park is very run down looking..
