Huguenot Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a manufactured home community in the Port Jervis, New York area? Huguenot Estates Manufactured Home Community, located at 18-5 Cherry St, Port Jervis, NY 12771, USA, presents itself as a residential option. You can contact them at (845) 856-4545 or +1 845-856-4545 for direct inquiries.
Based on the limited information available, including customer reviews, providing a comprehensive description of the environment at Huguenot Estates requires careful consideration of differing perspectives. One reviewer notes that it is a "trailer park" with "paved roads and a little Park text Kelly the address all in all pretty good I guess." This suggests some level of infrastructure and potentially a small park area. However, another review paints a less favorable picture, alleging a lack of maintenance around the park and concerns about safety, specifically mentioning dead trees. This discrepancy highlights the importance of prospective residents conducting their own thorough assessment of the community's environment.
Information regarding specific services offered at Huguenot Estates is also limited and somewhat contradictory based on the available reviews. The mention of paved roads suggests a basic infrastructure for vehicular access. However, the negative review claims a failure to maintain the grounds for safety, implying potential shortcomings in maintenance services. For those considering this as one of the "RV parks near me" for a longer stay, it would be crucial to inquire about essential services such as water, electricity, sewage hookups, and waste disposal directly from the management. Similarly, for potential mobile home residents, understanding the services included in the lot rent, such as landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of common areas, is essential. The negative review's claim that lot rent is raised annually without corresponding improvements in maintenance raises concerns about the value proposition of the community's services.
The features of Huguenot Estates are also subject to interpretation based on the contrasting reviews. The positive, albeit brief, review mentions paved roads and a small park, suggesting some basic amenities. However, the negative review details concerns about community rules perceived as overly restrictive towards children's outdoor play ("worried about getting rid of everything out of your yard for your kids because it’s a liability"). This same review also mentions the presence of older residents who allegedly complain about children, potentially indicating a less family-friendly atmosphere for some. Furthermore, the accusation of neglecting safety issues like dead trees poses a significant concern regarding the community's commitment to resident well-being. The claim of increasing lot rent without visible improvements further detracts from the perceived features and value of living in the community.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Huguenot Estates presents a mixed picture based on the limited and conflicting reviews. While one reviewer found it "pretty good," the other raises serious concerns about safety, maintenance, and community atmosphere. For RV travelers seeking a temporary or longer-term stay, it would be prudent to contact the management directly to ascertain the availability and quality of RV-specific amenities and to personally assess the environment and maintenance standards. The negative review's mention of rising lot rent, even for mobile homes, might also be relevant for long-term RVers considering site rental.
For local users seeking mobile home lots for rent, Huguenot Estates warrants careful consideration due to the significant concerns raised in one of the reviews. The allegations of poor maintenance, safety hazards (dead trees), and increasing lot rent without corresponding improvements are serious issues that potential residents should investigate thoroughly. The perceived lack of family-friendliness and potential tensions between different age groups within the community, as suggested by the complaint about children playing outdoors, are also factors to consider for those with families. It is crucial for prospective mobile home residents to visit the community, speak with current residents if possible, and meticulously assess the conditions and management practices before making a decision.
Currently, no specific promotional information for Huguenot Estates Manufactured Home Community is available in the provided data. Given the contrasting reviews, any potential promotions should be weighed against the concerns raised by at least one resident regarding the overall living experience and management. It is strongly recommended that interested parties contact the management directly to inquire about any ongoing promotions and to seek clarification on the issues raised in the negative review.
In conclusion, Huguenot Estates Manufactured Home Community in Port Jervis, NY, presents a complex picture based on the limited and conflicting customer feedback. While one review suggests a basic but acceptable "trailer park" with paved roads and a small park, another review raises significant concerns about maintenance, safety, increasing lot rent without improvements, and a potentially unwelcoming atmosphere for families. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living, it is imperative to conduct thorough due diligence, including direct contact with the management, a visit to the community, and ideally, conversations with current residents, to form an informed opinion before making any decisions.

Mar 19, 2025 · Scott BiancoThis community is the worst place to live there so worried about getting rid of everything out of your yard for your kids because it’s a liability, but when it comes to real liability issues like dead trees in your yard about the fall and your house no one gets back in contact with you, and not to mention that you have a bunch of old people that live in the park to complain about there being kids they should just move to a senior living! Not to mention the lot rent is being raised every year and they have nothing to show for it. They can’t even maintain the maintenance around the park for your safety!!
Sep 13, 2023 · nae nae naeThis place sucks. Been here for 9 years.i own my own home. They raise the rent every year. My septic is backing up in My house. And I call and the park manager says she can't do wanting until morning. I have 2 young kids and an elderly person in my house we can't wait until morning to use the bathroom. Buyers or renters beware!!! And if you rent from them,it's even worse.
Nov 16, 2017 · Aurora Beach houckWORST PLACE EVER. Office manager is the worst human being i have ever met in my life and has made my grandmother cry multiple times over the littlest stupidest things. Harasses us multiple times every week. Has blocked our driveway and yelled at us to move instead of asking 10 minutes in advance so there would be no issue. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THOUGH DEALING WITH THIS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC HOLE.
Mar 20, 2023 · Ethan snyderVanessa,We have researched your concerns and comments and take your remarks seriously. At times, the water service requires repairs and we must follow the necessary steps to complete those repairs. It was also noted that your bushes and shrubs were not being maintained. Therefore it was deemed necessary by Management to intervene and trim the shrubs. Should you have any further items, please feel free to contact the Community Office to discuss. Thank you.
