Jack Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in the Ocala, Florida area searching for "RV parks near me," Jack Mobile Home Park, located at 2610 SE 67th St, Ocala, FL 34480, presents a distinct option characterized by its natural surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. While officially named a mobile home park, its shared border and described environment may hold appeal for certain RV users seeking a quieter, nature-oriented setting in the Ocala region. It's important to note that the primary function appears to be a mobile home park, and the availability and suitability for RVs might vary, requiring direct inquiry.
Based on customer reviews, Jack Mobile Home Park is depicted as a "quiet little hamlet," suggesting a peaceful and low-key environment. This tranquility could be a significant draw for RV travelers looking to escape the noise and bustle of more conventional or larger RV resorts. The park shares a border with Mossley Oaks Mobile Home Park, indicating a potentially similar overall atmosphere in the immediate vicinity.
The environment of Jack Mobile Home Park is particularly noteworthy for its natural elements. One reviewer highlights the presence of "lots of azaleas, white and red mulberry trees oak and palm trees," painting a picture of a lush and diverse landscape. For those who appreciate nature and a setting with mature trees and flowering plants, Jack Mobile Home Park could offer an appealing backdrop. The mention of "ferral but mild-mannered cats" suggests a more relaxed and perhaps less manicured natural environment, which some nature enthusiasts might find charming.
However, alongside the natural beauty, there are some environmental aspects to consider. The "rotting wood privacy fence" is described as "dreadful and dilapidated," indicating a potential need for maintenance and aesthetic improvement in certain areas of the park. This is a visual element that prospective visitors might want to be aware of. The reviewer suggests that "Management needs to put vinyl fencing up!!" highlighting a desired upgrade.
In terms of services and features specifically for RVs, the provided information is limited. As a mobile home park, the infrastructure might primarily cater to long-term residents in mobile homes rather than short-term RV stays. However, some mobile home parks do offer a limited number of spaces with hookups suitable for RVs. Potential RV users would need to inquire directly about the availability and types of hookups (water, electricity – amperage, sewer), as well as the suitability of the sites for different sizes of RVs.
Common amenities found in RV parks, such as dedicated restroom and shower facilities, laundry rooms, Wi-Fi access, and recreational areas (like playgrounds or swimming pools), are not mentioned in the reviews for Jack Mobile Home Park. Given its primary designation as a mobile home park, these amenities might be limited or non-existent for short-term RV guests. Therefore, self-contained RVs would likely be best suited for this location if RV stays are permitted.
The positive aspect mentioned regarding cost is that "The lot rent is modest." If this translates to affordable rates for any available RV spots, it could be an attractive factor for budget-conscious travelers. However, it's crucial to confirm the pricing structure and what is included in the rate for RV stays, as it might differ from the long-term lot rent for mobile homes.
One significant concern raised in the reviews is that "the roads are horrible in here." This is a critical piece of information for RV owners, as poor road conditions can make maneuvering large vehicles difficult and potentially cause damage. Prospective visitors should inquire about the state of the roads within the park to assess whether it would be suitable for their RV.
The review also mentions that "The inhabitants keep to themselves," which could be interpreted as a quiet and private atmosphere. However, it also notes that "there are a couple of troublemakers in the area, however low-key." While described as "low-key," this suggests that there might be some minor issues to be aware of, although the overall impression is of a generally quiet community.
Promotional information is not provided in the text. Local users interested in staying at Jack Mobile Home Park with their RV would need to contact the management directly to inquire about availability, rates, amenities, and any special offers for RV travelers.
In conclusion, Jack Mobile Home Park at 2610 SE 67th St in Ocala offers a potentially quiet and nature-rich environment that might appeal to local RV users seeking a less conventional setting. The presence of mature trees and abundant azaleas creates a unique aesthetic. However, it's crucial to be aware of the potential drawbacks, such as the dilapidated fencing and the reported poor road conditions. Furthermore, as it is primarily a mobile home park, the availability of RV-specific amenities and hookups needs to be confirmed directly with the management. Local users prioritizing a tranquil, natural setting and potentially a modest cost should consider investigating Jack Mobile Home Park further, keeping in mind the need to verify its suitability for RV stays and the condition of its infrastructure.

Jack Mobile Home Park Reviews
This is a quiet little hamlet, sharing a border with its twin, Mossley Oaks Mobile Home Park. The inhabitants keep to themselves, but there are a couple of troublemakers in the area, however low-key. Overall, if you enjoy nature and ferral but mild-mannered cats and lots of azaleas, white and red mulberry trees oak and palm trees, then this right off of South Pine Avenue nest is ok. The rotting wood privacy fence is dreadful and dilapidated. Management needs to put vinyl fencing up!! The lot rent is modest.
