Kampvilla RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the picturesque Northern Michigan region, Kampvilla RV Park stands out as a highly recommended destination. Located at 16632 Pleasanton Hwy, Bear Lake, MI 49614, USA, this family-friendly campground offers a well-maintained and amenity-rich experience. Guests can reach the park by phone at (231) 864-3757 or via mobile at +1 231-864-3757.
Kampvilla RV Park is nestled on 40 scenic acres, providing a tranquil and inviting environment for campers. The grounds are consistently described as very well maintained and exceptionally clean throughout the park, which is a significant factor in positive guest experiences. The park boasts a charming and kid-friendly atmosphere, enhanced by numerous statues scattered around the grounds, inviting families on a delightful tour as they discover them all. This attention to detail in the landscaping and overall cleanliness contributes to a welcoming and pleasant ambiance for all visitors.
The park offers a variety of site types to accommodate different camping preferences, including rustic tent sites, electric-only sites with 30/50 amp service, and spacious pull-through full hookup sites with 50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer. These pull-through sites are noted for being particularly large, capable of accommodating big rigs with slide-outs and providing ample space. The sites are generally level and grassy, with some offering shade. The park's layout is designed to maximize guest comfort, with parking often staggered to ensure a good sense of privacy between neighbors.
Kampvilla RV Park is renowned for its exceptional services and amenities. A standout feature, consistently praised by guests, is the cleanliness and quality of the bathrooms. Described as "the best ones yet" by seasoned travelers, they offer single, full bathrooms for private use, complete with deadbolts for added security and privacy, and are ADA accessible. While the outdoor heated pool is a major draw, especially during warmer months, it is typically closed in the late season, as expected for a Northern Michigan campground. For recreation, the park offers a large playground, a catch-and-release fishing pond, basketball courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, and horseshoes, ensuring plenty of activities for both children and adults.
Beyond the primary recreational facilities, Kampvilla provides practical services to enhance the camping experience. There is a general store on-site offering camping supplies, RV accessories, candy, and Kampvilla apparel, as well as firewood, ice, and propane for convenience. A clubhouse with laundry facilities is also available. While Wi-Fi is offered, some past reviews indicate it might be too weak for streaming, though it is generally available for basic connectivity. The park also provides an air compressor, picnic tables, and fire rings at sites. For those in need of assistance, the current owners are frequently commended for their wonderful demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond, as evidenced by a guest who received a TV from the owner to watch a football game when their own equipment failed.
The strategic location of Kampvilla RV Park makes it an ideal base for exploring the abundant attractions of Northern Michigan. Situated just five miles from Lake Michigan's 25 miles of sandy shoreline, guests have easy access to beautiful beaches and three Michigan harbors. The park is approximately 20 miles north of Manistee and 17 miles south of Frankfort. This central location allows for convenient day trips to popular destinations such as Arcadia Marsh, Arcadia Beach, Inspiration Lookout, the Suspension Bridge, Huron-Manistee National Forests, Arcadia Dunes: The C.S. Mott Nature Preserve, and Crystal Mountain. These areas offer a diverse range of outdoor activities including hiking, paddling, mountain biking, and scenic drives, particularly stunning during the fall colors season. Even iconic destinations like Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore are within a reasonable driving distance for a day excursion.
Promotional information for Kampvilla RV Park emphasizes its commitment to providing guests with clean facilities, professional service, and a great experience, often highlighted as a "perfect place to escape for a weekend or spend the entire season." The park is family-friendly and pet-friendly (with some restrictions and fees, including a non-refundable deposit for up to two dogs). They also offer seasonal camping options, though there might be a waitlist due to demand, underscoring its popularity. Military discounts are offered, demonstrating appreciation for service members. Additional services include storage for RVs and boats, a dump station and potable water fill for unregistered campers at a fee, and even camper rentals for those without their own rig. The park consistently receives high ratings for cleanliness and overall appeal, solidifying its reputation as a top choice for RVers seeking a quality camping experience in Bear Lake, Michigan, for either a short stay or a seasonal retreat, as sought by those looking through "RV Parks Near Me."

Kampvilla RV Park Reviews
The family and I came up for the last open weekend of 2024. The location is excellent..The grounds are very well maintained and very clean throughout the park. Love the kid friendly statues and how they are around the grounds giving you and grand tour by the time you have found them all.. the pool was closed as late in season obviously, the bathrooms are the best ones yet- and we do some traveling! ADA and very clean. You have single full bathroom to yourself with deadbolt to add extra security and privacy.. As we were up for the fall colors, this location was a great home spot for our travels (Arcadia Marsh, Arcadia Beach, Frankfurt, Inspiration lookout, Suspension Bridge and so much more) . We were very impressed with staff, grounds and great seasonal friendly residents.. Thank you for having us, we will see you again. ✌️
Oct 15, 2024 · Brian SchillingKampvilla is a great place to camp. My wife and I have been camping there for years. The current owners are wonderful to deal with. They have many sites and their pull-throughs are very big. There are lots of places to walk around the campground and talk to the great guests. My wife and I wanted to watch the U of M game the weekend we were there. We were trying to watch it on a phone and were having trouble getting it and didn't have a smart TV in our camper. The owner stopped by to ask how our trip had been so far and she brought us a tv to watch it on. Highly recommended!
Nov 30, 2024 · MrbadassI really appreciate the staff to start they welcomed us as if we were family treated every situation as if it was a need of their own. They are very prompt and thoughtful. The sites are very spacious and clean. The grounds are very well maintained. They have a lot of amenities to offer the families that stay. We had a great time with them and would honestly say if we we're to make this trip again, we would definitely book with them again.
Aug 27, 2024 · Michael WallaceBest campground ever!!! The bathrooms are so clean. The grounds are soooo pretty. The owners are so nice!!! The spots are huge. We can easily park 4 vehicles with our camper. There is a lot for the kids to do - they have a nice playground, shuffleboard, horse shoes, and pool. We will definitely be back every year.
