Kemah RV Resort Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Bacliff, Texas area, Kemah RV Resort, located at 675 Miles Rd, Bacliff, TX 77518, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer feedback available online. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the environment, services, and features of Kemah RV Resort to help local RVers make informed decisions.
One recurring theme in the reviews is the park's suitability. According to one recent visitor, Kemah RV Resort may not be the ideal choice for a family camping trip in an RV or a quick weekend getaway in a motorhome. This assessment is partly due to the park's location, which was described as being in a "not-so-great part of town." Local users familiar with the Bacliff area may want to consider this aspect when evaluating their options for nearby RV parks.
Another significant point raised in the reviews concerns the prevalence of long-term residents at Kemah RV Resort. One guest noted that "most of its occupants are long-term residents." This demographic can influence the overall atmosphere and experience of the park, potentially making it feel less like a transient vacation spot and more like a permanent living community. For local users seeking a short-term recreational experience, this might be a factor to consider.
The check-in process at Kemah RV Resort appears to be efficient and pleasant. One reviewer mentioned that check-in was easy and the staff member encountered was "polite and helpful." This positive interaction at the beginning of the stay is a notable aspect of the service provided.
However, the same reviewer also highlighted a potentially inconsistent application of park rules. While they were given a "long list of their 'rules' that I was required to follow," they observed that "quite a few of the long-term folks weren't following these same rules." This discrepancy in enforcement could lead to frustration for short-term visitors who expect all guests to adhere to the same standards.
The physical layout of the RV spaces at Kemah RV Resort is described as "pretty compact." This proximity between sites can result in a lack of privacy and potential noise issues. The reviewer specifically mentioned being able to "clearly hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying." Furthermore, they experienced issues with neighboring RV occupants, including loud arguments and children leaving toys, bicycles, and garbage that obstructed parking. These experiences suggest that the close quarters might not be conducive to a peaceful or private stay for all visitors.
Concerns about safety were also raised by one reviewer, who stated, "my safety was a concern." While the specific reasons for this concern were not detailed, it is a significant factor that local users should consider when evaluating RV parks in the area. It is advisable to gather more information or perhaps visit the location to assess the safety and security measures in place.
Despite the negative aspects, the reviews also highlighted some positive features of Kemah RV Resort. The presence of "a few duck ponds with lots of ducks" offers a potentially pleasant natural element to the park. Additionally, there is a "fenced in place for dogs to do their business," although it was described as a "very small area" and not considered a true "dog park." For local RVers traveling with pets, this designated area, however small, is still a notable amenity.
Accessibility to essential services is another reported advantage. The park offers "easily accessible dumpsters," which is a practical convenience for RV living. The presence of "lots of trees offering shade" is also a significant benefit, particularly during the hot Texas summers. Some picnic tables are also available for guests to use.
While a pool is mentioned, one reviewer did not use it due to cooler weather but noted that it "looked somewhat clean." The cleanliness of the pool could vary, and local users planning to utilize this amenity may want to seek more current information on its condition.
Laundry facilities are available at Kemah RV Resort, although one reviewer did not use them. They did mention a potential issue with the functionality of the machines, stating, "gotta gamble with the washers and dryers to see which ones will actually work." This suggests that the reliability of the laundry services might be inconsistent.
A significant drawback reported by a guest was the poor quality of the Wi-Fi, described as "absolutely sucks." In today's connected world, reliable internet access is often a necessity for travelers, and this appears to be a notable deficiency at Kemah RV Resort.
Furthermore, the condition of the communal bathrooms and showers was a major concern for one reviewer, who described them as "always disgusting" and "gross." The cleanliness of these facilities is a crucial aspect of any RV park experience, and this negative feedback should be carefully considered by local users when comparing their options for "RV parks near me."
In summary, based on recent online reviews, Kemah RV Resort offers a location in Bacliff, TX, with easy check-in and a polite staff member encountered by one guest. It features some natural elements like duck ponds and shade trees, along with basic amenities such as a small dog area, accessible dumpsters, and laundry facilities (with potential reliability issues). However, the park appears to be primarily geared towards long-term residents, with compact RV spaces, potential noise and neighbor issues, concerns about consistent rule enforcement, and a reported lack of safety. Significant drawbacks include unreliable Wi-Fi and poorly maintained bathrooms and showers.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Kemah RV Resort may be an option to consider, particularly for those seeking long-term stays and who prioritize the basic amenities mentioned. However, potential short-term visitors looking for a more traditional camping or weekend getaway experience with a focus on peace, quiet, and well-maintained facilities should carefully weigh the reported drawbacks against the limited positive aspects. It is recommended that local users conduct further research or even visit the property to form their own assessment before making a decision.
To inquire about availability, rates, and specific services, you can contact Kemah RV Resort at (281) 559-2362 or +1 281-559-2362. Local RVers are encouraged to ask specific questions about the concerns raised in online reviews to determine if this RV park meets their individual needs and expectations.

Kemah RV Resort Reviews
This not the place for a family camping trip in the RV, or for a quick weekend getaway in your motorhome. It's located in a not-so-great part of town, and most of its occupants are long-term residents.Check in was easy, and the woman at the counter was polite and helpful. She handed me a long list of their "rules" that I was required to follow, but I noticed that quite a few of the long-term folks weren't following these same rules I was given. The spaces are pretty compact which results in being able to clearly hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying. I was in the middle between three RVs, and all of them were couples who had loud arguments, and their children who left their toys, bicycles, and garbage everywhere which repeatedly blocked me from being able to park my vehicle.Needless to say, I didn't sleep well, my safety was a concern, and I was glad to be out of there after a week.It wasn't all bad, though. They have a few duck ponds with lots of ducks, a fenced in place for dogs to do their business (very small area so I wouldn't consider it a "dog park"), easily accessible dumpsters, and lots of trees offering shade and a few picnic tables.I did not use the pool due to cooler weather, but it looked somewhat clean. I also did not use the laundry facilities, but they do have them.

Mar 01, 2025 · Steven JonesIf I could give a half star I would. This place is horrible ESPECIALLY if you have kids. Long story short, a group of drunk women (all but 1 aren't residents) basically tried to attack my 7 yr old. When brought to their attention, they did look at cameras but allowed the drunk non residents to keep coming and keep drinking at this pool. I've got video of this. On top of that they decided themselves to cut our hose connecting water to our place (have a pic of that also). So they allow drunks, people that don't live and pay them have more rights than people that do, they are very shady vandalizing things that do not belong to them. It's been issue after issue, but allowing drunk adults as well as teenagers to attack a baby and then mom (me. Have video) when asking what the problem is, that's when I can't take it anymore. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. Many children have brought to the attention of the office the how uncomfortable the "maintenance lady" makes them because she parks and watches them and takes pictures of them, but they do nothing. The 2 bottom people that work here run the place, they have straight up said if they don't like you they have the power to get you kicked out, and they have before. They do everything against the law which makes it a very scary place to be. We have genuinely been scared for our safety multiple times at that place. Sqve yourselves and NOT stay there.
Jun 18, 2024 · a ReyesI heard that they have a good bit of drama and stuff people hanging out who may or may not be on drugs I am considering moving there but if it's like this I can't I won't allow around my grandkids and my son grown is a friendly guy he doesn't understand that not everyone wants or will be friends or friendly towards others please reassure me that I am misinformed or something it looks beautiful the park does
Aug 15, 2024 · Matthew May SrWas planning on moving there but after speaking to tents they told me how bad management is there. The said they don’t care and they play favorites with tenants. Then went into to speak to someone in front office who was very rude and unprofessional. Management and place beneath my standards.
