Lake Fork Fishin' Hole Introduce
If your search for "RV parks near me" centers around the renowned Lake Fork Reservoir in Texas, Lake Fork Fishin' Hole, located at 382 Co Rd 1550 in Alba, offers a potentially serene and community-oriented environment for RV travelers and long-term residents alike. Situated in close proximity to one of the premier fishing lakes in the United States, this RV park caters to those who appreciate a calm and quiet setting with opportunities for angling and lakeside relaxation.
One long-term resident expressed their love for living at Lake Fork Fishin' Hole, highlighting the overall positive atmosphere of the park. This suggests a welcoming and enjoyable environment for those considering an extended stay in the Lake Fork area. The sense of community is further emphasized by another reviewer who described the locals as "extremely helpful but not overbearing," indicating a friendly and supportive neighborhood within the park.
The environment of Lake Fork Fishin' Hole is described as "calm, quiet, georgios," suggesting a picturesque and peaceful setting. The use of the word "georgios" (likely a misspelling of "gorgeous") implies that the park boasts a visually appealing natural landscape, likely benefiting from its proximity to Lake Fork and the surrounding East Texas scenery. For those seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this RV park appears to offer a serene retreat.
Given its name and location, a primary feature of Lake Fork Fishin' Hole is undoubtedly its access to fishing opportunities on Lake Fork. While one reviewer noted the desire for a "better boat ramp and access, with a fish cleaning station," the very presence of the lake nearby is a significant draw for anglers. Lake Fork is famous for its trophy bass fishing, attracting enthusiasts from all over. The potential for nighttime fishing, mentioned by a reviewer who noted "green lights in the lake" and the possibility of borrowing a dock, adds another dimension to the fishing experience available to guests.
However, it is important to note some areas where improvements have been suggested. The long-term resident mentioned the need for "better roads" within the park and expressed hope for the addition of a "pavilion that’s supposed to be here." These comments indicate that while the overall experience is positive, there may be ongoing infrastructure developments or desired amenities that are not yet fully realized. Prospective visitors might want to inquire about the current condition of the roads within the park and the status of any planned amenities.
Another notable point from a reviewer is the presence of spiders, stating, "If you have a fear of spiders then this is not the place for you." This suggests that due to its natural, lakeside environment, the park may have a significant spider population. Individuals with arachnophobia should take this into consideration when deciding whether Lake Fork Fishin' Hole is a suitable choice for them.
The services and features typically found at RV parks, such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups, are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. However, it is reasonable to assume that these essential amenities are available to accommodate RVs. Potential guests should contact the park directly to confirm the specifics of the hookups, including electrical amperage, water pressure, and sewer connections, as well as the availability of any other standard RV park services like restrooms, showers, or laundry facilities.
The reviews do not provide information about specific recreational amenities within the park itself, other than the lake access. It is unclear whether there are communal areas, picnic tables, or other facilities for guest use. Inquiring about these aspects when contacting the park would be beneficial for those seeking more than just a place to park their RV.
Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews. To learn about any special rates for daily, weekly, or monthly stays, as well as any other discounts or promotions that Lake Fork Fishin' Hole might be offering, interested individuals should reach out directly to the park management using the phone numbers: (903) 765-2385 or +1 903-765-2385. Direct communication will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing and availability.
The address, 382 Co Rd 1550, Alba, TX 75410, places Lake Fork Fishin' Hole in a rural setting near Alba, Texas. Alba is a small town in Wood County, known for its proximity to Lake Fork. The park's location on a county road suggests a potentially more secluded and natural environment. Using online mapping services with this address can help prospective visitors understand the park's exact location relative to Lake Fork, Alba, and other nearby towns or services.
In conclusion, Lake Fork Fishin' Hole offers a calm and quiet lakeside living or visiting experience in the heart of Lake Fork country. The friendly community and the allure of fishing on a renowned lake are significant draws. While there are mentions of needed infrastructure improvements and a notable spider population, the overall sentiment from residents and visitors is positive. Lake Fork Fishin' Hole Reviews
I love living here ! Need some better roads and the pavilion that’s supposed to be here, would be nice. Would be great to have a better boat ramp and access, with a fish cleaning station. Overall a great place to live or visit !
Apr 30, 2021 · Sandy McdanielCalm, quiet, georgios. The locals are extremely helpful but not overbearing. If you have a fear of spiders then this is not the place for you. There are some people that have green lights in the lake and you can go fishing at night if they will let you borrow their dock.
Aug 19, 2018 · Wendy LynneToday is my last day at the Fishin Hole. Been here for a year and the people are super nice. The owner on the other hand has a few issues. All he wants to do is collect money.I had a tree above my RV that had died. They are responsible for the he trees and the tree maintenance. I went to their office and asked them to take care of it. They never did. My RV is now in the shop getting a new roof. I have called numerous times requesting to speak to the owner and he will not talk to me. He will not call me back. I was told by Dale to call my insurance company. I did call them but they informed me they would be going after him for his negligence. I shouldn't have to pay a deductible because he didn't maintain his property when asked. If this is the type of owner you want to pay money to, feel free. For me, I'll Pay a yearly lease somewhere else where the owner is more responsible. Also, the reviews talking about food and rooms, that is not at the fishin hole.James, if you want to make a reply to this post, maybe you can explain to the public why you wouldn't call.As for your reply. I was told I didn't have to pay for the gravel you put in the other spot. That is a whole other issue if you would like to get into it we can and I'm sure you won't like what I say about that either. Accept responsibility for something. We are told we can't cut trees but when we ask you guys to do it, you don't. I fail to see how it is my fault when you have been asked. Also, are you going to pay for the other lady's carport who asked you to remove the dead tree from in front of her little house. Now she needs a new carport.
Nov 20, 2019 · Greg HeynsAwesome place. Couldn't enjoy as much as I wanted to due to my son's autism. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him or even let him walk freely the water is very dangerous for him. But a very nice beautiful place to visit especially with family.
