Lake Jordan Rv Resort Introduce
Nestled on the shores of the picturesque Lake Jordan in Wetumpka, Alabama, Lake Jordan RV Resort offers a convenient and enjoyable retreat for RV enthusiasts and those seeking lakeside recreation. Located at 64 Bonners Point Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092, USA, this RV park positions itself as an attractive option for individuals and families looking for "RV parks near me" that provide direct access to the lake and essential amenities for a comfortable stay.
Based on feedback from recent visitors, Lake Jordan RV Resort boasts a significant advantage for boaters and water sports enthusiasts due to its close proximity to the Bonner's Point boat ramp, which is even within walking distance. This ease of access to the lake is a major draw for those looking to spend time on the water, whether for leisurely cruises, fishing expeditions, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty of Lake Jordan.
The resort also offers the convenience of full hook-ups for RVs, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay for travelers. Full hook-ups typically include connections for water, electricity (including 50 amp service, as noted by one reviewer), and sewage, allowing RVers to enjoy all the comforts of home while on the road. This feature is particularly valued by those planning longer stays or those who prefer the convenience of on-site utilities.
One of the recurring positive comments highlights the quiet atmosphere of the park and the neighborly environment among fellow RVers. For those seeking a peaceful escape, this tranquility can be a significant benefit. Additionally, the grounds are reported to be well-maintained, suggesting a level of care and attention to the overall appearance and functionality of the resort.
Lake Jordan RV Resort enhances the lakeside experience with a "short, cute boardwalk" that leads down to the water's edge. This thoughtful addition provides easy and charming access to the lake for all guests. Furthermore, the resort features two docks where boats can be moored, adding to the convenience for those bringing their own watercraft. The lake itself is described as a great spot for various activities, including fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, catering to a range of outdoor interests.
For families, the opportunity for children to swim in the lake daily is a significant highlight, suggesting that the lakefront area is suitable and enjoyable for swimming activities. This family-friendly aspect, combined with the quiet environment, makes Lake Jordan RV Resort an appealing destination for those traveling with children.
Beyond the immediate amenities of the RV park, its location offers additional conveniences. A reviewer noted the ease of taking walks next to the lake and through the quiet surrounding country neighborhood, providing opportunities for leisurely exploration and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Moreover, essential services such as a grocery store and restaurants are within a short drive in Holtville (locally known as Slapout), making it convenient for guests to access supplies and dining options.
The resort's proximity to Wetumpka, a nearby town, also adds to its appeal, likely offering further amenities, attractions, and a connection to the local community. The surrounding countryside is described as pretty, enhancing the overall experience of staying in this region of Alabama.
However, it is important to consider all aspects of the feedback. One reviewer mentioned a potential downside related to some full-time residents within the park whose vehicles reportedly lack mufflers, leading to noise from frequent starting and leaving throughout the day and night. While this reviewer still indicated they would stay again, the noise issue is a factor that prospective guests should be aware of, especially those particularly sensitive to noise.
Another important piece of information is that while Lake Jordan RV Resort offers a laundry facility, it does not have a bathhouse. This means that guests need to be self-contained within their RVs for bathroom and shower facilities. This is a crucial consideration for those traveling in smaller RVs or trailers that may not have these amenities on board.
Despite the noted downside regarding vehicle noise, the overall sentiment from the reviews is positive, emphasizing the convenient lake access, full hook-ups, quiet environment, and well-maintained grounds. The resort appears to cater well to those seeking a lakeside experience with opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and enjoying the natural surroundings.

Speaking with the management can provide the most up-to-date details and allow potential guests to address any specific concerns they may have, such as the noise issue mentioned in one of the reviews.
In conclusion, Lake Jordan RV Resort in Wetumpka, AL, offers a compelling option for those searching for "RV parks near me" with direct lake access and full hook-up facilities. Its proximity to a boat ramp, the availability of docks, and the opportunities for swimming, fishing, and kayaking make it an ideal destination for water lovers. The quiet atmosphere and well-maintained grounds contribute to a pleasant stay. While a potential noise issue from some resident vehicles and the lack of a bathhouse should be considered, the overall positive feedback suggests a worthwhile experience for RV travelers looking to enjoy the beauty and recreation of Lake Jordan.

Lake Jordan Rv Resort Reviews
This is a good place to stay on this side of the lake. It is super close to the boat ramp and has full hook-ups.The downsides are, they have full time residents that live here. That wouldn't be so bad but everyone of them don't have mufflers on there cars. So all night and day you hear them crank up and leave and come back to the park. And they do it really frequently which I find really strange.I would definitely stay here again though.
Mar 04, 2020 · John BryanWe stayed at Lake Jordan RV Resort for 2 months in our motorhome as we were buying a house in Wetumpka. The park and fellow RV neighbors were quiet and the grounds were kept up nicely. There is a short, cute boardwalk that takes you down to the lake. There are two docks to moor boats and my kids loved swimming in the lake everyday. It is a great spot for fishing and kayaking/canoeing. And the Bonner's Point boat launch is within walking distance. I enjoyed taking walks next to the lake and through the quiet country neighborhood daily. It is also a close drive to a grocery store and restaurants in Holtville (or as the locals call it Slapout). The surrounding country is pretty and it is a short distance from Wetumpka. There is a laundry but no bathhouse, so you need to be self contained. Full hook ups and 50 amp power worked well! We would recommend this park.
Jul 08, 2020 · Rachel BergereFull hookups with quick access to lake is only plus. Full time residents and a lot of noise all night. DON'T LEAVE YOUR BOAT IN THE MARINA OVERNIGHT!. Mine was robbed of trolling motor and radio. Owner didn't care. 3 other boats of full time residents beside mine wasn't touched, so pretty sure was local job.
