Lakeland Manor Introduce
For individuals and families exploring options for long-term living or extended stays in the Manitowoc, WI area, Lakeland Manor is a mobile home park located at Manitowoc, WI 54220, USA. As a property within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it's important to understand that while it serves as a mobile home park, some mobile home parks may occasionally offer limited RV spots or cater to long-term RV parking, though this is not explicitly confirmed for Lakeland Manor and its primary function appears to be for manufactured homes.
Lakeland Manor is an established mobile home park in Manitowoc. Reviews from past visitors indicate that the park is an older establishment. The visual impression of the park, based on some feedback, suggests a community with a more dated aesthetic, with some mobile home units appearing to be in various states of repair. This can lead to a diverse visual landscape within the park, where some homes might be well-maintained while others show signs of age or disrepair. The presence of "massive amounts of junk in the yards" in some instances has been noted by visitors, contributing to an overall impression that might be described as a "junk yard" by some.
Prospective residents or visitors should be aware that the overall environment may not align with expectations of a newly developed or meticulously manicured community. The park appears to be a practical and potentially more affordable option for those seeking permanent or semi-permanent housing in Manitowoc, rather than a resort-style RV park or a high-end residential community. The age of the park can also mean that infrastructure, such as lot numbering, might be less clearly visible or organized, as suggested by a comment about "hard to read trailer numbers."
As a mobile home park, Lakeland Manor primarily offers lots for manufactured homes. Information regarding specific services or amenities, such as community centers, recreational facilities, or detailed utility provisions, is not readily available through general online search results or the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic utilities hookups (water, sewer, electricity) for residents, and it can be assumed these are in place for the existing homes. However, the exact scope of services, such as on-site management availability, maintenance services for common areas, or waste removal procedures, is not detailed in the provided information.
One specific feature mentioned in feedback relates to pet policies. It's noted that the park "won't allow any dogs," which is a crucial piece of information for pet owners considering this location. This strict no-dog policy is a significant characteristic that differentiates Lakeland Manor from many other mobile home parks or RV communities that often cater to pet owners. For cat owners or those with other types of pets, it's advisable to inquire directly about specific pet allowances and any associated fees or restrictions, as the information specifically highlights a ban on dogs.
It's important to remember that Lakeland Manor is categorized as an "all ages" community, meaning it is not restricted to senior citizens or specific age groups. This indicates a diverse resident base, potentially including families with children, individuals, and retirees.
Given the nature of the reviews, Lakeland Manor appears to cater to individuals seeking more budget-friendly housing solutions within Manitowoc. The phrase "inexpensive fixer-upper" mentioned in a review suggests that the park might be a destination for those looking to acquire a mobile home at a lower cost, often with the understanding that the unit may require significant repairs or improvements. This implies that the primary "goods for sale" within this context would be existing mobile homes on lots, rather than new manufactured homes or RVs directly from the park management.
For those specifically searching for "RV Parks Near Me," it is crucial to clarify with Lakeland Manor directly whether they accommodate RVs for short-term or long-term stays, as their primary function is a mobile home park. Mobile home parks often have different zoning and operational structures than dedicated RV parks, and may not offer the typical amenities (like pull-through sites, hookup variety, or recreational facilities) that RV travelers expect.
The feedback suggests that prospective residents or those considering Lakeland Manor should conduct a thorough on-site visit to assess the condition of the available units and the overall park environment. What one person considers a "fixer-upper" with potential, another might view as "running down" and "falling apart." Personal pride in ownership is a sentiment that some residents and visitors feel is lacking in certain areas of the park, so aligning personal expectations with the current state of the property is key.
In summary, Lakeland Manor in Manitowoc, WI, offers an established mobile home park environment for those seeking permanent residence. It's an older community that may present more affordable living options, potentially involving homes that require significant renovation. Key considerations include a strict no-dog policy and an expectation of an environment that might appear less manicured than newer or more upscale communities. For "RV Parks Near Me" searchers, direct contact with Lakeland Manor is essential to confirm any RV accommodation availability, as it primarily functions as a mobile home park.

Lakeland Manor Reviews
I'm horrified by this place. One step above junk yard. We drove there to check out that inexpensive fixer-upper....after seeing that place...no way! Just because you're poor doesn't mean you can't take pride in what you own. Most of the trailers are running down, falling apart, and massive amounts of junk in the yards. They won't allow any dogs. Wow just WOW
