Laterna Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals seeking long-term residential options in the Houston, Texas area, Laterna Village Mobile Home Park, situated at 14500 Laterna Ln, presents a mobile home community that may also accommodate RVs for extended stays. While listed under the category of "RV parks near me," Laterna Village appears to function primarily as a residential area for mobile homes, potentially offering long-term RV site rentals as well. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of the park based on the mixed information available online, including its location, environment, and insights from resident reviews regarding management and community rules.
Located in Houston, Texas, Laterna Village Mobile Home Park benefits from its location within a major metropolitan area, offering residents access to a wide range of urban amenities, including employment opportunities, cultural attractions, shopping centers, and educational institutions. The specific address on Laterna Lane suggests a location that may offer a degree of separation from the most congested areas of the city while still providing relatively convenient access to major thoroughfares. However, one resident review notes that the park is connected to Highway 6, which could imply a lack of complete privacy due to traffic noise and visibility.
The resident reviews for Laterna Village Mobile Home Park present a fluctuating and somewhat contradictory picture, particularly regarding the management. One initial review describes a negative shift in the community's atmosphere under new management, using strong terms like "awful manner to trate people" and stating that it is no longer a "first class place." This review also mentions significant issues with mud on the streets and the aforementioned lack of privacy due to the connection to Highway 6. Furthermore, it highlights concerns about restrictive rules outlined in resident contracts, specifically advising against the park for families with children.
However, an update from the same reviewer indicates a positive turn after they managed to contact the owner of the property. The update praises the owner's "nice attitude and quick service solving issues," suggesting a potential improvement in the living experience and a possibility of maintaining "peace and friendly daily life in this community." This update implies that while there may have been initial challenges with on-site management, the owner's direct involvement has led to more positive outcomes for at least one resident.
Despite this positive update, another review reiterates concerns about "bad treatment of admiration" (presumably referring to administration or management) and a significant number of restrictions. This reviewer provides specific examples of these rules, including limitations on having meetings even on one's own patio, restrictions on music volume, and a requirement to notify management two weeks in advance for hosting a party. The reviewer concludes by strongly advising potential renters to "think very carefully before renting" due to these numerous rules, indicating a potentially restrictive living environment for some.
Given these mixed reviews, it is challenging to definitively describe the services and features of Laterna Village Mobile Home Park. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer at each lot. They may also provide amenities like on-site management, waste disposal services, and possibly communal areas or laundry facilities. However, the provided reviews do not offer specific details about these aspects at Laterna Village. Potential residents are strongly encouraged to contact the park management directly using the provided phone number to inquire about the specific amenities, lot fees, community rules, and the availability of RV sites if applicable.
The environment of Laterna Village appears to be a point of contention. While the initial review mentions mud on the streets and a lack of privacy due to highway proximity, the update suggests a potential for a peaceful community life under the owner's oversight. The restrictive rules mentioned in one review could contribute to a quieter environment for some residents but may feel overly controlled for others. The presence of children is also a factor to consider, as one review specifically advises against the park for families with kids due to unspecified rules.
Promotional information is difficult to ascertain from the provided reviews. The positive update regarding the owner's responsiveness could be seen as a potential selling point, suggesting that resident issues may be addressed effectively when escalated to the owner. However, the concerns about restrictive rules and past management issues remain significant factors that potential residents would need to weigh carefully.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home communities in Houston, Texas, Laterna Village Mobile Home Park presents a complex picture. The potential for a peaceful community life, especially with the owner's involvement, is a positive aspect. However, the reported issues with past management, the presence of potentially restrictive rules, and environmental concerns like mud and highway proximity should not be overlooked. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the park management directly to seek clarification on the current management situation, obtain a detailed list of community rules and regulations, inquire about the infrastructure and maintenance of the park (including the mud issue), and assess whether the environment and rules align with their lifestyle and preferences. Visiting the property in person to observe the conditions and potentially speak with current residents could also provide valuable insights before making a decision about residing at Laterna Village Mobile Home Park.

Mar 09, 2023 · Angela LopezBad treatment of admiration and a lot of restrictions, you cannot have meetings even in your own patio, you cannot have very loud music, if you want to have a party you have to notify 2 weeks in advance, so think very carefully before renting and that is just a little bit of the rules so Not recommended 👎
May 01, 2021 · Liliana LopezThis was a very good place to live, now it has become something unsustainable, exaggerated rules, fines even for breathing, increase in rent without any explanation, we pay to cut the yard according to what they say and they don't even cut it, the water charge is very high and it doesn't even say how much you spend, because the meters don't check them and when you want to complain about something the only answer you get is "if you like it, if you don't, leave" about the improvements that are mentioned in the previous answer, some may be worth it but not for everything they charge us, here most of us seek to live economically but this is becoming more expensive every time, the new administration is not good.
