Jetstream RV Resort at Stafford Reviews
I recently stayed three nights at JetStream RV Resort at Stafford. At first glance, it’s an impressive, brand-new park with a lot of potential. The concrete RV pads are nice, the full hookups worked great, and the landscaping is still green and well-kept. The whole park is fenced, and the ambient string lighting at night gives it a really peaceful vibe. The park offers three types of sites. I stayed in a standard site and paid under $50/night, taking advantage of a summer promotion—pay for two nights, get one free. The rec center building houses everything: the office, bathrooms, laundry, gym, arcade, lounge area, a TV, a pool table, and a kitchenette. The gym was well-equipped, and the arcade had golf, Deer Hunter, etc. all set to FreePlay.Laundry was modern and app-based. Everything worked for me, but the app said my dryer would run 46 minutes when the actual display said 75. Take your close out when the app says they're done. Now for the issues—and they’re serious.I booked over the phone and was sent a receipt with zero check-in instructions. No site assignment, gate code, or bathroom code. I arrived Sunday after the office had closed (they close at 2 PM), and the call box rang endlessly. The main number rang five times and hung up with no voicemail or emergency contact. If it weren’t for a stranger walking his dog, I’d have been stuck outside the gate.Because I wasn't provided check-in instructions, or even called to see when I would arrive, I picked an open site based on their website and parked. The next morning, I let a maintenance worker know where I was and gave him my info. He said he’d call if there were any issues—which he didn’t. When I finally spoke to the receptionist the following day, I asked about check-in info. She told me she was already logged out for the day but handed me a single piece of paper that had the info I should’ve received two days earlier.I asked her when the bathrooms get cleaned, and she said their maintenance guy was out sick and that she was trying to clean "between customers." When I asked if they had any regular cleaning service, she said they haven’t had one in eight months and hoped to hire someone “soon”—but didn’t know when. This shows. The bathrooms were filthy. I checked three different ones the first night and finally found one that was usable. Hair clumps from someone getting a haircut (?), full trash bins, used paper towels everywhere, loose seats, broken shower hardware, and grime buildup that looked like shimmering plastic in the basin. The shower heads wouldn’t stay up, one had almost no pressure, and the door handles were loose from poor installation. No one cleaned the bathroom I selected the entire time I was there. The pool was nice overall, and its orientation provided shade around 3 PM—perfect for lounging. But the bottom of the pool had dirt and debris, the floating chairs were stacked messily in the jacuzzi from kids the day before, and no one reset or tidied anything for the next day. The water seemed treated and safe, but the lack of upkeep was obvious. And yes—they ask you to shower before entering the pool, but when the bathrooms are that disgusting, it’s almost laughable. The employees were friendly and doing their best, but the overall impression I got is that ownership is cutting corners and trying to save money by avoiding hiring actual cleaning staff. For a brand-new resort, it’s unacceptable.I’m including drone photos and video of the park itself, along with photos and video of the bathrooms so people can see the conditions firsthand. The park has so much potential, but right now, the cleanliness and communication issues are dealbreakers for me.Three stars—but barely. If ownership doesn’t step in and support their staff, this place is going to decline fast.Side note: I’ve submitted nearly 600 reviews, and my photos and videos have over 17 million views on Google Maps. I love helping fellow travelers discover (or avoid) spots like this. If you found this helpful, feel free to give me a follow through my Google Maps profile
Apr 01, 2025 · Jesse MuellerAs of our stay (Dec '24), this park was still fairly new and only maybe half full. Fair warning - the neighborhood approaching the entrance looks pretty sketchy, but don't let that deter you. We always felt totally safe in the park. The sites are all concrete and very level. Reasonable room in between. Our site had a large grassy area behind it, perfect for dog walking. The management said they were working on an actual dog park. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The amenities were top notch. New laundry room (machines are powered by an app, no need for quarters). Game room, large clubhouse area with kitchen for hanging out. Pool table. Game room. One of the best-appointed fitness rooms I've ever encountered in an RV park (except for other Jetstream parks.) Very nice looking pool and pool area. Bathrooms were all unisex bathroom/shower combo. Very roomy and nice. Right at the edge of Houston, so very convenient for everything. We camped at JetStream RV Resort at Stafford in a Fifth Wheel.
Feb 07, 2025 · Lynda PolkOur stay here has been great, we're first time RV owners and had very little knowledge of the RV life. Our great fortune was to have met a very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and professional individual in Liz at the front office. She's been such great help with everything here and extremely quick to resolve any issues that have come up, she's awesome. Our stay here has been that much better because of her, aside from the awesome amenities and great location.
Mar 25, 2025 · ecast 74We stood here close to three months. Liz Torres was amazing. The park was clean very brightly lidgreat security but above all Liz tores well amazing. The customer serve this she provided was the best I’ve seen. Will be returning soon. Thanks
Mar 08, 2025 · Shirley CostelloGPS location is off by a driveway or two. This is a brand new resort amd beautiful propety. Unfortunately our experience beyond this was not the best. We arrived to find the office was closed and no direction as to where to park, etc. We tried calling the emergency number on the main number and the call could not be completed. The kids were not able to use wifi until I tracked someone down for it, and the connection kept disconnecting and was not strong enough to work/play a game from. The kids were disappointed they didn't have access to the clubhouse until the next day since it was closed. If quiet hours exist they were not enforced as neighbors were blaring music past midnight. The speed limit was not enforced either as trucks and dirt bikes kept driving fast through the lot. Overall quite unhappy with a resort who seemingly did not care about their customers.
