Lavendel Resort Introduce
Seeking information about “RV parks near me” in the charming Fredericksburg, Texas area? Lavendel Resort, located at 457 Bob Moritz Dr, Fredericksburg, TX 78624, USA, is a developing RV resort that has generated both anticipation and controversy within the local community. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the available information regarding Lavendel Resort, drawing from online reviews and the provided details.
The environment of Lavendel Resort is intended to be situated in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, known for its rolling hills, wineries, and scenic landscapes. Fredericksburg itself is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors with its German heritage, wineries, shops, and proximity to natural attractions like Enchanted Rock. While specific details about the resort's immediate surroundings are not extensively described, the location in Fredericksburg suggests that guests can expect to be immersed in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. One online comment expresses anticipation for a “wonderful RV resort,” implying that the setting has the potential to be attractive and enjoyable for visitors.
As Lavendel Resort appears to be a new or developing establishment, comprehensive details regarding its services and amenities are currently limited. However, based on the expectation expressed in one of the reviews, it is reasonable to anticipate that the resort intends to offer standard RV park amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for its guests. These typically include:
- RV hookups: It is expected that the resort will provide sites with electrical, water, and sewer connections to accommodate various types of RVs. However, one review explicitly states, “We have no water, don’t come here,” which raises significant concerns about the current availability of essential utilities. This contradictory information highlights the importance of verifying the operational status of all services before making any plans.
- Restroom and shower facilities: Most RV resorts offer communal restroom and shower facilities for the convenience of their guests. The quality and availability of these facilities at Lavendel Resort are currently unknown.
- Laundry facilities: On-site laundry services are a common amenity in RV parks, particularly for those staying for extended periods. Information regarding this at Lavendel Resort is not yet available.
- Wi-Fi access: Many modern RV resorts offer internet access for their guests. Whether this will be available at Lavendel Resort is currently unspecified.
- Other potential amenities: Depending on the scale and development stage of the resort, it might eventually offer additional amenities such as picnic areas, recreational facilities, or communal spaces. However, no concrete information is available regarding these at this time.
The features of Lavendel Resort are, at this stage, largely based on expectations and the limited information available. The anticipation of a “wonderful RV resort” suggests that the developers aim to create a destination that offers more than just basic RV parking. However, the serious allegation in another review about the resort being “illegal” due to deed restrictions and the claim of having “no water” present significant concerns about the fundamental viability and current operational status of the venue. These conflicting perspectives make it challenging to definitively describe the resort's features at this time.
There is no specific promotional information available for Lavendel Resort based on the provided text. Given the conflicting reports regarding its legality and the availability of basic utilities, it would be prudent for potential visitors to directly contact the resort at (830) 500-9377 or +1 830-500-9377 to inquire about its current status, services, and any potential offers. It is crucial to seek clarification on the availability of essential utilities like water and to understand the context of the legal concerns raised in one of the reviews.
The online reviews for Lavendel Resort present a stark contrast. One review, purportedly from a local resident, claims the entire venue is “illegal” due to deed restrictions and urgently advises against visiting due to a lack of water and the alleged opposition of neighbors. This review paints a very negative picture and raises serious questions about the resort's legitimacy and operational readiness.
In direct opposition to this, another review explicitly states its intention to “offset the negative review” and suggests that the negative feedback comes from a local resident with ulterior motives unrelated to the business itself. This second review expresses optimism about Lavendel Resort becoming a “wonderful RV resort” based on what the reviewer has “seen and heard” and states an eagerness to stay there in the future. This perspective encourages potential visitors to disregard the negative review as unfounded and to look forward to a positive experience.
Given these diametrically opposed views, it is impossible to provide a definitive and objective assessment of Lavendel Resort based solely on the provided information. The serious allegations of illegality and lack of water cannot be ignored, nor can the counter-argument that these claims are baseless and motivated by local opposition. Potential local users searching for “RV parks near me” should be aware of these conflicting reports and exercise caution when considering Lavendel Resort.
Before making any decisions, it is strongly recommended to contact Lavendel Resort directly at (830) 500-9377 or +1 830-500-9377 to seek clarification on the following critical issues:
- The current availability and reliability of essential utilities, particularly water.
- The legal status of the resort and the validity of the claims regarding deed restrictions.
- The operational status of the resort and whether it is currently open to receive guests.
- Details about the services and amenities that are currently available or are planned for the future.
- Any promotional offers or current rates for stays.
By directly engaging with the management of Lavendel Resort, local users can obtain firsthand information to help them navigate the conflicting online reports and make an informed decision about whether this developing RV resort in Fredericksburg aligns with their needs and expectations for an RV getaway. It is crucial to proceed with caution and due diligence given the significant concerns raised in the available feedback.

Lavendel Resort Reviews
This entire venue is illegal. The deed stipulates that the land shall not be used as a business and they are in violation of the deed restrictions. We have no water, don’t come here. The neighbors don’t want you invading their once quiet neighborhood where they live and have lived for YEARS!
Apr 05, 2024 · Alesa SmithThis is a review to offset the negative review by a local resident that wants to drive people away by leaving a negative review that has nothing to do with the business other than saying they don't want it there. I'm not sure why people leave bad reviews for a business or service they have never used - and never intend to use. How can you review something you have never used before. From what I have seen and heard, this is going to be a wonderful RV resort. We are looking forward to staying there.
May 09, 2023 · Bruce WilliamsThis place will be a must for any rv-ers coming to Fredericksburg!! If you you are looking for a clean, luxury close to town RV resort this is it. Amanda is doing a great job putting it all together. They are still under construction, but you can tell they are sparing no expense to do it right.
Dec 26, 2022 · Jason R. SmithWe are full-timers who have been in Fredericksburg prior Covid. Just purchased a new 5th wheel last year. We are 55+ plus. The website is not open yet but we would definitely be interested in additional information once you open.
Jul 31, 2023 · Chris JacksonHorrible horrible place. Completely ruined a neighborhood that had been there for years with many elderly people who cannot afford to move. Go ahead and buy here, just don’t expect water because of the excessive water shortage or to be embraced by the neighbors. I don’t know how the owner sleeps at night.
