Fredericksburg RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fredericksburg, Texas area, Fredericksburg RV Park, located at 305 E Hwy St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624, USA, offers a prime location for exploring the charming town and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Situated on East Highway Street, this RV park is noted for its exceptional convenience to downtown Fredericksburg and its attractions. You can contact Fredericksburg RV Park by phone at (830) 990-9582 or mobile at +1 830-990-9582 for inquiries regarding site availability and any specific needs during your stay.
The location of Fredericksburg RV Park is consistently highlighted as a major advantage. Being "very close to the main street in Fredericksburg" and "this close to everything in town" makes it an ideal base for local users and tourists alike who wish to easily access the shops, restaurants, wineries, and cultural attractions that Fredericksburg is famous for. For those specifically looking for an "RV park Texas" or "RV camping Fredericksburg" with unparalleled proximity to the heart of the town, this park stands out.
Based on the available customer reviews, Fredericksburg RV Park offers a welcoming and functional environment. One reviewer, returning for their second consecutive year, noted its convenience for Hill Country exploration and appreciated the "nice interesting neighbors" they encountered during both stays. The kindness and helpfulness of Linda in the office were also commended, along with the proximity to a food truck court next door, offering a convenient dining option. This reviewer expressed their intention to stay at Fredericksburg RV Park again on future visits to the Hill Country, indicating a high level of satisfaction.
Another reviewer acknowledged that while the park "doesn't have concrete pads for RV" and is "simply decorated," the location more than compensates for these aspects. The park was described as "clean" with "sites fairly level." Essential amenities such as a "coin laundry with reasonable prices" and a "rec center with billiards, shuffleboard, other games" are available for guests. The "bathrooms and showers" were noted to be "very clean," and the provision of "free ice" was mentioned as an added bonus, enhancing the value of the stay.
However, one reviewer pointed out a potential environmental consideration: the presence of stickers (burrs) in isolated patches within the park. They advised caution, noting that these small but sharp stickers can easily get stuck in shoe soles and be tracked around. Dog owners are also advised to be mindful of where they walk their pets to avoid these stickers. While this is a minor issue, it is an important piece of information for local users to be aware of, especially if planning to walk extensively within the park or if traveling with pets.
Regarding pricing, one reviewer commented that "the daily rate is perhaps a bit high," but for them, it was "worth the price for the convenience" of being so close to town. This suggests that while the cost might be a consideration for budget-conscious travelers, the prime location and the ease of accessing Fredericksburg's attractions justify the price for many visitors who prioritize convenience.
The combined feedback from these reviews paints a picture of Fredericksburg RV Park as a clean and well-maintained facility with friendly management and essential amenities, but its standout feature is undoubtedly its proximity to downtown Fredericksburg. The presence of a recreation center and laundry facilities adds to the convenience for guests, while the free ice is a thoughtful extra. The mention of stickers is a practical tip for visitors to be aware of.
While the reviews highlight the key aspects of Fredericksburg RV Park, they do not provide specific details about the types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in), the exact hookup amenities (e.g., 30/50 amp electrical service, water, sewer), or whether Wi-Fi is offered. Local users should contact the park directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about these specifics based on their individual needs.
When contacting Fredericksburg RV Park, it would be beneficial to ask about the rates for RV sites, including any potential discounts for longer stays or local residents, although these are not mentioned in the reviews. Inquiring about the availability of specific site types and the process for making reservations, especially during peak seasons or local events, would also be advisable. Pet policies and any additional rules or regulations of the park should also be clarified.
The reviews do not mention any specific promotional offers. However, the high rate of return visitors and the positive comments about the convenience suggest that the park's location is a significant draw that many find worth the investment. Local users might want to ask if there are any special packages or deals available, particularly during off-peak times.
In conclusion, Fredericksburg RV Park in Fredericksburg, Texas, offers an exceptionally convenient location, just moments from Main Street and all the attractions of this popular Hill Country town. The park is noted for its cleanliness, friendly management (especially Linda in the office), clean restrooms and showers, a recreation center, and on-site laundry. While it may lack concrete pads and has a simple decor, its prime location and the added bonus of free ice make it a preferred choice for many visitors, despite a potentially higher daily rate. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" who prioritize being close to the action in Fredericksburg should strongly consider contacting Fredericksburg RV Park at (830) 990-9582 or +1 830-990-9582 to inquire about site availability and to experience the convenience and hospitality this park offers. Be mindful of the stickers mentioned in one review, especially if walking extensively or with pets.

Fredericksburg RV Park Reviews
Second consecutive year at FBG RV Park. Very convenient for Hill Country exploration. Both of our stays included nice interesting neighbors. In the office, Linda is kind and helpful. The food truck court next door has good stuff. Next time the Hill Country calls, we'll be here again.
Apr 23, 2025 · Greg SmithThis RV park is very close to the main street in Fredericksburg, this close to everything in town. While it doesn't have concrete pads for RV and it simply decorated, the location makes up for that. The park was clean, sites fairly level, coin laundry with reasonable prices, rec center with billiards, shuffleboard, other games. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Free ice is an added bonus. As someone else mentioned there are some stickers......they seemed to be in isolated patches but we learned if you walk through them they stick in the soles of your shoes and you track them everywhere. They are small but sharp, so check soles carefully and watch where you walk your dog.The daily rate is perhaps a bit high, but for us it was worth the price for.the convenience. If you want to be close to town this is the place to stay.
Dec 27, 2024 · Debbie BWe checked in for one night. The next day we decided to stay another night. The office lady said we had to move spots. Ok? The park is more empty than full. Open sites everywhere! Annoying. Also the $75/night fee is way over the norm for the type of park (basic) it is for this area.
Apr 14, 2025 · Angela MitchellSpaces were spread out but the people next to us had their windows open and they were talking and laughing non-stop. We called office and asked to move which was no problem. I really appreciated that. The only reason we stayed with the high price of $75 a night was because we needed internet to watch the Chiefs beat the Texans in the playoffs! The town has a lot to do, and the Churches Chicken nearby was delicious!
Jan 20, 2025 · Turney TurneyWhat a perfect lil park!Super friendly staff, quiet park, and super close to Main St (~1 mile).Their recreation room was large and very nice. It included a pool table, foosball table, and a full size shuffleboard table. Lots of tables, couple of couches, board games, 2 TVs, a full sized kitchen with 2 ovens and complementary Keurig coffee & tea. All of which we took advantage of.Really appreciated their bathroom / shower facilities. They had approx 6 stalls which were kept clean. The showers had fabulous water pressure and plenty of hot water! They also had a cute little library, large, affordable laundry facility ($2.50 total for a wash & dry) offered free ice, and we loved how they rigged up a golf cart to rake each caliche pad to make things looks extra cute! Such a lovely lil touch. They also had a good workout room with some free weights, treadmill, bike, Gazelle, Total Gym type machine, etc. We’ll for sure be back! Thanks!
