Based on the reviews from fellow travelers, CEDAR BLISS RV Park offers a distinctive experience characterized by its natural beauty and tranquility. One reviewer aptly described it as a "hidden gem," emphasizing its somewhat tucked-away location which contributes to its secluded feel. The park's setting within an oak grove and surrounded by cedar trees creates a picturesque and calming environment. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the frequent sightings of deer roaming freely within the park, adding to the overall charm and peaceful ambiance.
The environment at CEDAR BLISS RV Park is a significant draw for those seeking a respite from the more crowded RV parks. The limited number of spots (just eight) ensures a low-traffic and intimate atmosphere. The abundance of mature oak and cedar trees provides ample shade and a sense of being immersed in nature. While the park offers a secluded feel, its location on W Oak Dr suggests it is still within relatively easy reach of Fredericksburg's amenities and attractions. This balance of peaceful seclusion and convenient access makes it an appealing choice for many visitors.
CEDAR BLISS RV Park offers several notable services and features, some of which are particularly appreciated by guests. A standout amenity is the provision of free laundry (guests need to supply their own detergent and other supplies). This is a significant cost-saving and convenience for travelers, especially those on longer journeys. While the park once featured a putting green and turf areas for driving golf balls, it's important to note that these are no longer maintained. However, the availability of cable TV at each site is a plus for those who enjoy staying connected or entertained during their downtime. Guests have reported that the power supply is good, ensuring reliable electricity for their RVs. While water pressure was noted as low by one reviewer, the Wi-Fi was reported as good, allowing guests to stay connected online.
It's important to note that CEDAR BLISS RV Park currently operates on a cash or check only payment system. This is a practical consideration for potential guests to be aware of when planning their stay.
One reviewer specifically mentioned that CEDAR BLISS RV Park is a "great place to stay for a few days with our Dogs," highlighting its pet-friendly policy. The "very peaceful site with lots of space for our RV" further underscores the comfort and spaciousness offered to guests and their furry companions. The owner is also described as "very nice and accommodating," suggesting a welcoming and helpful host who contributes positively to the overall experience.
However, one significant concern raised by a reviewer is the "WAY TOO MANY!" free-ranging cats in the park. The reviewer, citing information from wildlife organizations, expressed concern about the impact of outdoor cats on local bird populations. While this did not deter the reviewer from wanting to stay again, it is a factor that potential guests who are either concerned about wildlife or have issues with cats should be aware of.

CEDAR BLISS RV Park Reviews
A hidden gem. Don't panic as you turn into the driveway. There is an RV park at the end. 8 spots nestled in a oak grove surrounded by cedar trees. Deer roam freely in the park. Laundry is free (just furnish your own supplies) and there is a putting green and two turf areas that you use for driving golf balls, although neither is maintained anymore. Cable TV was present at the site. It was very quiet and secluded. Power was good but water pressure was low. Wifi was good.Cash or check at present. The only thing that really bugged me about the place was the number of "free-ranging" cats - WAY TOO MANY! According to the Audubon Society and other wildlife organizations, outdoor cats are responsible for killing in excess of 2 billion songbirds annually.Would I stay here again if in the area? Yes.Would I like to see the cats disposed of? Also yes.
Dec 15, 2022 · Dennis WeilerA great place to stay for a few days with our Dogs. Owner was very nice and accommodating, very peaceful site with lots of space for our RV. Highly recommend!!!!!
Aug 18, 2024 · Wayne SandersGreat place to stay any time of year. Far enough out of town to be quiet and close enough to be a short drive in. Polished cedar furniture and trim throughout. The only negative at all was the reservation service that we used. They weren't exactly First Class when they didn't follow through on their commitment but we didn't let it ruin our anniversary.
Sep 14, 2020 · Christopher LyonsVery rude and disrespectful owner. He comes off as nice, but that is definitely not the case. Swore at me and called me disrespectful names in front of my children. Not a pleasant landlord. Have your own Wi-Fi because it's there's is weak. Washing machine breaks down and doesn't drain the water. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire park.
