Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me," perhaps looking for a cozy cabin or an RV site in the Smithville, Tennessee area? Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites, located at 1313 Seven Spgs Rd, Smithville, TN 37166, USA, with phone numbers (513) 479-8890 and +1 513-479-8890, offers a range of accommodation options. Based on recent customer reviews, it presents a mixed experience, with strong positives regarding the environment and cabin quality, but some concerns about management policies.
One reviewer recounted a "Wonderful 3 day stay at Seven Springs cabins," emphasizing the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. They were able to work virtually, enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and found the cabins to be "very well thought out" with everything needed. This suggests that the cabins are well-equipped for a comfortable stay, catering to both leisure and those who might need to work remotely. The reviewer also highlighted enjoyable family time wading in a creek and building fires, indicating that the environment is conducive to outdoor family activities. Furthermore, the ability to have separate cabins provided space for individual activities like writing and downtime, making it suitable for both group gatherings and personal retreats. This positive experience led to a high recommendation for cabins, especially for family reunions or personal retreats.
However, another reviewer shared a contrasting experience related to long-term stays and pet policies. They initially called to inquire about long-term stays and the acceptance of larger dog breeds, specifically a Rottweiler pit mix. They reported being told in December that their dog would be allowed and that long-term stays were possible. However, by April, they were asked to leave due to the type of dog they owned and a change in policy regarding long-term stays. This significant discrepancy between initial information and later actions led the reviewer to advise caution when booking anything with this campground. This review highlights potential inconsistencies or changes in management policies that could affect guests, particularly those with specific needs like long-term accommodation or certain pet breeds.
Based on these reviews, Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites offers a potentially wonderful experience, particularly for short stays in their cabins. The environment is described as peaceful and relaxing, with opportunities for family activities like creek wading and campfires. The cabins themselves are noted to be well-equipped. This makes it an attractive option for those seeking a comfortable and nature-oriented getaway, whether for a family reunion or a personal retreat.
However, prospective guests, especially those considering long-term stays or traveling with specific dog breeds, should be aware of the potential for policy changes or inconsistencies in communication. It would be prudent to get any specific agreements regarding pets or long-term stays in writing to avoid potential issues. For shorter stays focused on enjoying the cabins and the natural surroundings, the positive review suggests a high likelihood of a pleasant experience.
Considering the "camping near me" category, Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites offers both cabin rentals and RV sites, catering to different preferences. The peaceful environment and the availability of well-equipped cabins stand out as significant features. The mention of creek access and the possibility of building fires further enhance the outdoor experience. For families or individuals looking for a relaxing escape in a natural setting, the positive review of the cabins is encouraging. However, the negative review regarding long-term stays and pet policies serves as a cautionary note for those with such requirements.
To summarize the key aspects: Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites provides peaceful and relaxing stays in well-thought-out cabins, suitable for families and personal retreats. The environment includes a creek and allows for campfires. They also offer RV sites (though not detailed in the reviews). However, there have been reported issues regarding changes in long-term stay policies and pet allowances, suggesting that it's crucial to verify these details directly with the management when booking.
For local users searching for "camping near me" who are interested in cabin rentals or RV sites in Smithville, TN, Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites is a location to consider. The positive feedback on the cabin experience, the peaceful atmosphere, and the natural surroundings are definite advantages. However, it would be wise to inquire specifically about pet policies and the availability of long-term stays based on the more critical review. For shorter cabin stays, the recommendation is strong.
If you're a local resident looking for a relaxing getaway in a cabin with family or for a personal retreat, Seven Springs Cabins could be an excellent choice, based on one customer's wonderful experience. The ability to work remotely with peace and then enjoy the natural beauty and family activities sounds appealing. However, if you require a long-term stay or have specific pet breed considerations, it would be essential to communicate clearly with the management and possibly seek written confirmation of any agreements. Contact them at (513) 479-8890 to discuss your specific needs and to get the most up-to-date information.
In conclusion, Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites in Smithville, TN, offers a potentially delightful experience, particularly in their well-appointed cabins, set in a peaceful environment with creek access. It seems ideal for short family stays and personal retreats. However, potential guests needing long-term stays or with specific pet types should exercise caution and seek clear, ideally written, confirmation of policies before booking. For those looking for a relaxing cabin getaway "camping near me," Seven Springs is worth investigating further.

Seven Springs Cabins & RV Sites Reviews
Wonderful 3 day stay at Seven Springs cabins. It was so peaceful and relaxing! I was able to do my work from here virtually on Friday, then had an amazing time watching the sunset and sunrise! Very well thought out cabins; everything you need! Great time with family wading in creek and building fires. Also great to have the ability to separate yourself into your own cabin for some writing and downtime. Highly recommend cabins for families reunion or a personal retreat!
Aug 18, 2024 · Tom KingCalled about a place that does long-term stays. Also about larger dogs and breed of dogs that are allowed on the property. Was told when I called back in December that I could have my dog which is a Rottweiler pit mix big baby and that I could stay long-term. It is now April and I have been asked to leave due to the kind of dog I have and that they are not gonna do long-term stays anymore. So I would be very careful about booking anything with this campground.
Apr 21, 2025 · Rebecca StewartWe recently stayed 2 nights at the Seven Springs Cabins, and really enjoyed our quiet get away from Nashville! It took us about an hour and 20 minutes to drive here and it was an easy drive. The cabin was very clean and cozy and we loved spending our mornings on the porch swing drinking our coffee and reading! We came prepared with our groceries to cook, but if you happen to forget anything there is a Walmart close by that you can drive to. Historic Downtown Smithville is also just 15 minutes away, where we stopped for coffee and got pizza one night.I recommend driving to Rock Island State Park (about 20 minutes) to see the waterfalls and go on some nice hikes, and make sure to stop at the trolley stop for some coffee, ice cream or treats. We loved it so much we made 2 visits there!Thank you Alexis for hosting us we truly enjoyed it!
Oct 01, 2024 · Hunter SmithWe rented 3 of these cabins for a family weekend and had a great time! The cabins are beautiful inside and out and it is a very peaceful area - we enjoyed building a fire, walking in the creek, seeing the local farm animals and just relaxing on the porch. Alexis was great to work with!
