The tent camping at Rock Island State Park is very well kept. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the bath house. The sites are a pretty well spaced, many have trees to provide some shade. We were in site 59 and had enough trees to use a hammock and some tarp shelters. Rangers were friendly and did rounds regularly.I'm glad we stopped in at the visitor's center. The staff there were very helpful with trail info. - Savannah
