Myself and my partner had been looking to buy a home here and were told the property manager would like to get into touch with us. When we called her, I have never EVER seen someone fall into the various negative personality categories mentioned about them, so quickly. I mean instantly this woman (Nancy) had a condescending tone. She was rude, makes up her own list of rules and enforces things that are so dated. It's 2024. Get with it. This woman has to have cost people hundreds of thousands of dollars in that of property they bought and planned to live on but moved from her power tripping management, not addressing issues be it maintenance or around the park, and real estate agents with people pulling out offers as we did on our sale. There was an entire article on the Bothell reporter speaking of this woman's poor management and that people have tried to go to great lengths with the county to get rid of her. She is older and needs to retire, and as another said here she CLEARLY needs to address her mental health. Something is so profoundly off about her. It's remarkable that someone like her is in her position and able to keep it. But we see that in a lot of places now days. OH and one of the first things she mentioned is that if you have a dog that barks, that's a huge no no. No dogs over 30lbs though. Get real. Also since my partner and I are not married (our own decision based on our lives and way we live) that I could not be cosigned for as a new business owner with no claimable income yet. My partner and I have been together over 8 years. We have two dogs, are trying for children and I have illness that keeps me from full time work at a regular job. Thus why I started my own catering business. I just haven't gotten rolling yet. The back end of it all is in the works and quite frankly what does it matter? My partner makes well over 6 figures a year and is more than applicable for this home even if I didn't work at all! The bank will let me be on the mortgage but I can't be a resident on the lease of my own home I'm buying with my partner bc we aren't married?! What world are we living in. She said "well what if they die?" What the heck does that matter? If my partner dies and were here alone it would have been the same! She then says she will get back to us on it. Calls back and says I can be a guest written in for 150 to 500...yes FIVE HUNDRED dollars extra a month. Where did that wide spectrum of price come from? She made this guest thing up...and what in the WORLD?! This woman is crazy and not worth being your neighbor. Its so sad that an insufferable manager can make people miss out on such a great opportunity to grow their lives in a good home. If Nancy is the manager still, I highly advise you not move in here.

Sep 24, 2023 · Bruce TurnerCondescending manager with a superiority complex coupled with MH that are of poor maintenance and (in the case of the one i would have purchased) in need of at least 22,000 dollars in repairs ranging from structural to plumbing to electricsINSPECT THE HOMES BEFORE YOU PUT AN OFFER IN (hire a proper inspection company like what i did) you will dodge a bullet on the repair costshad the manager been a proper adult and not so condescending i would have forked over the money on fixing the home i intended to purchasebut as it stands ... the club house requires appointment before one can even hope to use it and ALL of that is up to Nancy (good luck with that)avoid this park at all costs until they replace Nancy with a proper and mentally healthy and competent manager who understands their placeinfrastructure is poor and the quality of the houses is "dated" at best with many being "original" and since these are manufactured homes means poor states of repair or incompetent handimen "fixing" things in ways that actually detract from the value of the home and parkwhile its location is reasonably decent with a "public" water way to boat on ... the park needs a MAJOR uplift on infrastructure and the homes ALL need to be fixed up and or replaced with new ones

She finally got her first job in forever and the first thing we did was look into a new place. The only thing we could barely afford was this cute little Mobile Home Park. I was skeptical at first, but the park is kept clean by our hard working Landlord Nancy. I think you guys have it misunderstood. There are rules that she has to enforce. Yes the rules are stupid... like what kind of dog you can't have. But their Lawyers wrote the rules, not them. Nancy works very hard to keep our costs down and our parks clean. I think she's doing a very good job. It would be a mess without her. She's cool to talk to and that's coming from a teenager. She's also very understanding considering if you're nice to her She'll be nice back. Everyone has their hard days - you guys can be mean Every once in awhile.

Now that my husband is living here (2016), it is $750/month and in April rent is going up another $20/month. That is a lot of money for a mobile home that I own in a mobile home park with public facilities (clubhouse) that used to be used freely and often but now are locked and you have to fill out an application if you want to use it.When I moved in there was a manager that knew how to be a person and took care of issues, but was also friendly and an enjoyable neighbor.Everything changed with the next manager. Eviction notices for every little 'infraction' (and "infractions" occur almost every month.) Grass not to her liking, things stored on deck not to her liking (yet *her* deck is jam-packed with boxes and things), if family visited and, heaven forbid I didn't tell her? all hell broke lose. She made my son-in-law fill out a $40 form to see if he was okay to visit. Of course, he was not approved. I say 'of course', because I can't imagine her ever approving of ANYthing! When I got married, my husband did not get approved either. Never been arrested and his credit is almost exactly the same as mine and I got approved to move here (under the old manager). I have to pay $150/month for my *husband* to live with me! This is a 2-bedroom home! We're not talking about 12 people! Just ONE! Of course, we are looking for a new place. But why should WE have to move when it's just a terrible manager???On the plus side, I have great neighbors! Good, kind-hearted people. My neighbors are why this is a 2-star, the manager make this a 1-star. Under the old manager, I would have given my review a 5-star rating.
