Liberty RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Dayton, Texas area, Liberty RV Park, located at 1567 Co Rd 486, presents itself as a potentially convenient option for RV travelers. Situated in Dayton, TX, this park aims to provide a base for those exploring the region or needing temporary or long-term accommodation for their recreational vehicles. To provide a comprehensive overview, it's essential to consider both the positive and negative feedback available from individuals who have stayed at the park.
One reviewer described Liberty RV Park as "convient, quiet, well maintained" and considered it "one of the better parks I’ve stayed in." This positive feedback suggests that for some, the park offers a satisfactory experience, particularly in terms of location, peacefulness, and upkeep. A quiet environment can be a significant draw for RVers seeking respite during their travels or a tranquil long-term living situation. The mention of being "well maintained" implies that the park management may strive to keep the grounds and facilities in good order, contributing to a more pleasant stay for guests.
However, it is crucial to consider other feedback that presents a contrasting perspective. One lengthy review raises several significant concerns regarding the park's amenities, management practices, and overall value. This reviewer states that promised facilities such as a "wash house and red room" have "NEVER BEEN FINISHED" and that a "dog park…as advertised" does not exist. The lack of promised amenities can be a major disappointment for guests who rely on these facilities for their comfort and convenience. For pet owners, the absence of a dog park, especially if advertised, can be particularly problematic.
The same reviewer also alleges inconsistencies in pricing, claiming that "they charged the people who are long time residents more than new incoming." Such practices can lead to dissatisfaction and a feeling of unfair treatment among long-term residents who have contributed to the community over time. Transparency and fairness in pricing are essential for fostering a positive relationship between park management and residents.
Communication appears to be another area of concern, with the reviewer stating that the management does "not reliably inform people about mail and park problems." Effective communication is vital for ensuring that residents are aware of important information that may affect their stay or daily lives. Issues with mail delivery and a lack of updates on park-related problems can lead to frustration and inconvenience.
Furthermore, the review describes difficulties with mail access, alleging that management gives people "trouble with checking the only post box for their own mail." Access to mail is a fundamental need for residents, and any restrictions or issues in this regard can be a significant inconvenience and source of stress.
Concerns about maintenance and security are also raised. The reviewer mentions a "man who claims to be maintenance and security" who allegedly "does the bare minimum and drinks all day." This is a serious accusation that, if true, would indicate a significant lapse in the park's upkeep and security measures. The reviewer further claims that "there is noth Done at night when the speeders and people doing drugs are most active because they know that they will get away with it," suggesting a potential lack of effective security during critical times.
The reviewer also recounts a personal experience involving an alleged wrongful eviction following a complaint about a dangerous situation involving the manager's dog. This account includes allegations of harassment and bullying and claims that the eviction was carried out "without the proper process and paperwork." Such allegations are extremely serious and paint a concerning picture of the park's management and treatment of residents. The reviewer concludes by advising against staying at the park, even briefly, and notes that promised work from four years prior remains unfinished, suggesting a pattern of unfulfilled commitments.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it is difficult to form a definitive objective assessment of Liberty RV Park. While one reviewer found it convenient, quiet, and well-maintained, another provides a detailed account of significant issues related to unfulfilled promises, pricing inconsistencies, poor communication, questionable maintenance and security, and alleged mistreatment of residents. The stark difference in these experiences suggests that the reality of staying at Liberty RV Park may vary considerably depending on individual circumstances and expectations.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in the negative review, potential guests should exercise caution and consider these points carefully. It would be prudent to seek further information and potentially speak with current residents to gain a more balanced understanding of the current conditions and management practices at Liberty RV Park. While the park may offer a convenient location, the concerns raised about unfinished amenities, management conduct, and safety are significant and should not be overlooked.
As there is no promotional information provided, it is impossible to comment on any special offers or incentives the park may be currently running. Individuals interested in staying at Liberty RV Park are advised to contact them directly at (832) 501-3445 or +1 832-501-3445 to inquire about current rates, availability, and to seek clarification on the issues raised in the available reviews. It would also be beneficial to ask about the status of any previously promised amenities and the park's policies regarding pets, mail, security, and resident relations. Ultimately, making an informed decision requires gathering comprehensive and up-to-date information from multiple sources.

Liberty RV Park Reviews
The place started out a quiet place but the wash house and red room has NEVER BEEN FINISHED AND there is no dog park…as advertised.l they charged the people who are long time residents more than new incoming… they do not reliably inform people about mail and park problems… they give people trouble with checking the only post box for their own mail… they give people man who claims to be maintenance and security does the bare minimum and drinks all day and there is noth Done at night when the speeders and people doing drugs are most active because they know that they will get away with it… the manager is in a wheelchair and has an aggressive dog that is never on a leash when it clearly states ballpark rules that all dogs kept his dog, jumped up and looked at my husband‘s throat and after we complain to the odor, we were wrongfully evicted for reporting a dangerous situation, without the proper process and paperwork we were harassed and bullied. They are not very honest and I would not advise anyone to stay there briefly. I Upon looking at other Reviews that were posted four years ago. The work that they promised was done is ongoing and will never be finished. My husband and I stayed there for almost 2 years. And nothing that was promised was kept their Wi-Fi is shoddy at best and the park is not worth the price.

Jan 26, 2025 · Robert AndrewsThe park it's self is orderly, quiet, well maintained. Seems to be fairly new. Decent sized lot with grass. Easy to pull in, and exit. They're working on having bath house and laundry area. The personnel on-site is cool but...and i gotta say that I was really enjoying some much needed "away" time, feeling comfortable with my overall surroundings. Nice place.

I'm very very pleased with the professionalism shown to all customers as well as the "come on over, make you feel at home" Southern hospitality warm attitude!!! This is the way a true professional business should treat their customers/or clients. Thank you!
Feb 11, 2022 · Shannon MarieI stayed there for a few months in 2016. Good people, excellently kept. Enjoyed the neighbors and it was quiet at night.
