Love's RV Stop Introduce
For local users and travelers passing through the Box Elder, South Dakota area, Love's RV Stop, located at 679 Reagan Ave, offers a convenient and straightforward option when searching for "RV parks near me." Capitalizing on its association with the well-known Love's Travel Stop, this RV park provides easy access, clean sites, and essential amenities primarily catering to those seeking a comfortable and safe overnight stay. While it may lack some of the traditional campground features, its practicality and location make it a viable choice for many RVers.
Unbeatable Convenience: Easy On and Off the Freeway: One of the primary advantages of Love's RV Stop is its exceptional convenience for travelers on the road. Reviews highlight the "easy off and on the freeway" location, making it a breeze to access for a quick overnight stop without significant detours. This ease of access is a major draw for those looking for "RV parks near me" that prioritize efficiency and minimal travel disruption. The proximity to the interstate ensures that you can quickly get back on your route after a restful night.
Integrated with Love's Travel Stop: Added Benefits: The direct association with a Love's Travel Stop provides several added benefits. The availability of a Love's gas station right there is a significant convenience for refueling your RV or tow vehicle. Additionally, for those who appreciate familiar food and beverage options, the presence of McDonald's and Starbucks within walking distance is a notable bonus. This allows for easy access to meals, snacks, and coffee without having to drive further into town. However, it's important to note that accessing the Love's store and these eateries requires crossing the road, and caution is advised due to constant truck traffic.
Clean and Functional Pull-Thru Concrete Sites: Love's RV Stop offers pull-thru concrete sites, which are highly appreciated by RVers for their ease of setup and breakdown. Pull-thru sites eliminate the need to back in, making parking simpler and quicker, especially for larger rigs or those less comfortable with maneuvering. The concrete pads provide a stable and level surface. Guests also noted that the sites were surrounded by grass, offering a touch of greenery. The water hookups are described as sturdy, not flimsy, indicating a reliable connection. Overall, the cleanliness and functionality of the sites are positive aspects for those seeking "RV parks near me" that prioritize ease and practicality.
Generally Quiet Environment Despite Truck Traffic: While the RV park is located near a busy travel stop, reviews indicate that it is "generally quiet." One guest noted that the street was lined with 18-wheelers overnight, but they were not loud enough to be a significant disturbance. This suggests that Love's RV Stop manages to maintain a relatively peaceful environment for sleeping despite its proximity to commercial activity. For travelers concerned about noise when looking for "RV parks near me" near major routes, this is a reassuring point.
Limited Personal Interaction: A Self-Service Experience: One notable aspect mentioned by a guest is the lack of personal contact with a person in charge of the facility. The experience is described as "kind of on your own." This suggests a more automated or self-service approach to checking in and managing your stay. While this may be perfectly acceptable for those seeking a quick and independent overnight stop, travelers who prefer more personal interaction or on-site assistance might find this a drawback. When considering "RV parks near me," the level of staff interaction can be a factor for some.
Basic Amenities: Limited Information on Restrooms and Laundry: Reviews provide limited information about the restroom and laundry facilities. One guest mentioned not using or seeing them and therefore could not comment on their condition. Another guest stated that the bathrooms were clean, with one toilet room and one shower room open. This suggests that basic facilities are available, but detailed information on their capacity, cleanliness (beyond one positive comment), and accessibility is lacking. Travelers who rely heavily on these amenities when choosing "RV parks near me" may need to seek further information directly from the park.
Lack of Trees and Landscaping: A Functional Stop: Guests have noted the absence of trees and landscaping within the RV park. This suggests a more utilitarian design focused on functionality rather than aesthetics or natural shade. While the concrete pads and grass offer a clean environment, those seeking a more scenic or nature-filled camping experience when looking for "RV parks near me" might find this aspect less appealing. Love's RV Stop appears to prioritize convenience and ease of use over a traditional park-like setting.
Ideal for a Safe and Easy Overnighter: The consensus from the reviews indicates that Love's RV Stop is particularly well-suited for a "safe overnighter." The combination of easy access, clean and functional sites, and a generally quiet environment makes it a reliable choice for travelers needing a comfortable and secure place to rest before continuing their journey. The ability to make reservations online while driving adds to the convenience for those on the road.
Promotional Information: Not Explicitly Mentioned: The provided customer reviews do not contain any explicit promotional information about Love's RV Stop. There are no mentions of discounts, special rates, or loyalty programs. Travelers interested in potential promotions should inquire directly with Love's RV Stop when making their reservations.
Objective Summary and Considerations: Love's RV Stop in Box Elder, SD, offers a convenient and clean option for RVers, particularly those seeking an easy overnight stop near the interstate. Its integration with a Love's Travel Stop provides added benefits like fuel and nearby food options. The pull-thru concrete sites with sturdy hookups are practical and well-maintained. While personal interaction with staff may be limited and the environment lacks trees and extensive landscaping, the park prioritizes functionality and ease of use. The cleanliness of the limited restroom facilities mentioned is a positive point. For travelers prioritizing convenience and a safe place to rest, Love's RV Stop is a viable choice when searching for "RV parks near me."

Love's RV Stop Reviews
The location was easy off and on the freeway. Loves gas right there. Great pull through concrete site surrounded by grass. Easy to set up and break down. Water on sturdy hook up, not flimsy pvc. The sites were clean and quiet. Did not use or see restroom or laundry, so I can not comment. The only thing we did not like was no personal contact with a person in charge of the facility. Kind of on your own. No trees or landscaping but a great place to stay for a safe overnighter.
Apr 21, 2025 · den and vic daleyClean, easy to access (pull thru site). Hooking up electricity was quick. It was generally quiet, though the street was lined with 18 wheelers all night, but they were not loud. The bathrooms were clean, with 1 toilet room, and 1 shower room open. Having McDonald's and Starbucks within walking distance was a bonus. You do have to cross the road to go to the Love's store, be careful as trucks drive constantly. Was easy to do a reservation while driving online, and know we had a spot that night.
Mar 11, 2025 · Sarah KirkconnellGreat location right off the highway. The customer service was top-notch with a big shout out to Jeff for going above and beyond! The RV pads were in good condition, and the amenities were nice and in good condition. The only suggestion I would have is for Love's to make it an option to be able to reserve single nights during the winter season. I say that because they are missing out on revenue by not catching the business that other RV parks turn down during short stays of the winter season. The RV stop being just off the highway would be perfect for short-stay options throughout the year.
Nov 16, 2024 · Tim FailesWe had an unexpected stop here as our truck broke down and we were waiting for it to get fixed. Very nice, new park. Jeff is an exceptional employe. He was such a pleasure to interact with during our stay and was very helpful.Love’s needs to move their gate code box back. It’s too close to vehicles entering. Our RV got scraped by it as we entered. To those pulling in; be aware of it.
Jul 29, 2024 · K ByrdOur first time staying at Loves RV. The sites are very nice, plenty of room and green grass. No highway noise, however, it’s close to an air force base, so you will hear “The Sounds of Freedom” flying low occasionally! This is a new park, And are still working out some kinks. The keypad to the gate is set for cars, not RVs, so you’ll have to get out to push in the code.People need to learn how to drives their rigs to stay off the grass, as there are multiple areas damaged by driving off the cement into the grass. We will definitely use this place again! Staff were also friendly!
