Based on glowing customer reviews, Mayberry's distinguishes itself from many other RV parks by its natural setting. Unlike parks dominated by concrete or pavers, Mayberry's is "Surrounded by grass," creating a more relaxed and aesthetically pleasing environment. Its location "setting along the Lake Okeechobee Rim Canal" further enhances its appeal, offering potential waterfront views and access to the canal.
The park caters to a diverse community, accommodating both mobile homes with year-round or seasonal owners and RVs. Notably, Mayberry's is a popular destination for snowbirds, with some individuals choosing to leave their "skirted RV's on property" year-round and others bringing their RVs for the winter season, which runs from October 1 through March 31st. This indicates a well-established seasonal community, suggesting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for winter visitors.
Mayberry's provides a comprehensive set of services for its residents and guests. Essential utilities such as "Water, sewer, trash and lawn maintenance services are provided for all throughout the park." This inclusive approach simplifies living and ensures the grounds remain well-kept. The park also caters to anglers with "two fish cleaning houses with electric and water in each fisherman may use at no cost," a valuable amenity for processing the day's catch.
Beyond outdoor activities, Mayberry's fosters a sense of community with a "clubhouse for planned activities during the winter season." This suggests organized social events and opportunities for residents and seasonal visitors to connect. The presence of "restrooms and laundry room" provides essential conveniences for all guests.
Accessibility is also a key feature of Mayberry's, with "5 entrances make it easy to enter and exit the park." This can be particularly beneficial for RVers navigating with larger vehicles. Furthermore, "management is on site for any issues that may need their attention," ensuring that residents and visitors have readily available support.

The reviewer also recommends visiting the local "flea market for those great bargains."

Their experience with the office staff was positive, noting that the "Office lady was very friendly" and efficient, able to "book us right over the phone" with "No hassle." This indicates a smooth and welcoming booking process for new visitors.
The proximity to outdoor recreation is further emphasized, with the "Campground is close to a bike trail and Lake Okeechobee," offering opportunities for cycling and exploring the lake beyond the park's immediate waterfront access.

Feb 14, 2021 · Justin WaltersMy parents live in Okeechobee, so we stayed at Mayberry's during month of December.Quiet, well maintained park with small grass site and concrete patio, asphalt roads, wifi spotty, friendly staff and neighbors, trail close for walking and riding bikes, close to shopping, gas, restaurants, clubhouse for social events, website claims laundry and showers; we did not see either or have need to use. Monthly price $675 plus electric, average for area. We would stay again.
Feb 21, 2022 · Sandra CroftEveryone in the community is so nice! The management keeps the park very clean. Love being on the water. Come see for yourselves.
